So I'm behind on content as I have a 6 week old daughter that rules over me now. The podcast has been great to put on at 3AM when she won't sleep, or 6AM when she won't sleep or heck why not 1AM when she won't sleep. But either way I'm watching it behind schedule and in chunks. With that in mind, I'm like 2/3 of the way through the St. Patrick's Day After Dark craic (that's Irish for fun and is pronounced Crack).
Anywho, there was a bunch of stuff I was hearing that wasn't really getting answered. I'm from the UK, but have Irish parents. I also work in the video games industry so I've moved a lot. I've actually lived in Scotland (Dundee) previously and spent 5 years living in Galway on the west coast of Ireland. I thought I'd take a bit of time to answer some of the questions that were asked and not properly answered during the ep, about these 3 places.
1 - Do Irish wear Kilts? Yes they do! However it's not 100% certain when/where it all started happening. Some say it was the 1900s and military related. Some say it's as far back as 1590. However they treat the tartan differently - having the colours related to the regions in Ireland, rather than the families/clans like they do in Scotland. Saying that there are some families with registered tartans. 2 - What's up with St. Patrick and the snakes? This response could be a long one. So I'll keep it short. Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England all have their own "patron saints". It's questionable whether any of them ever actually existed. St. Patrick however, is the most likely to have existed. He was a Christian Missionary that came to Ireland to spread the "good" word. At the time, Ireland was almost entirely Pagan/Druidic. St. Patrick was banished by the druids for attempting to convert people. He was banished to a small island cluster where he built his first monastery and began housing people that were homeless/shunned by local towns and villages. Eventually, the work he began ended Druidic religion in Ireland and the "snakes" in the story are an analogue for pagans. There's actually a few kinds of snakes that can be found in Ireland. One of my dogs was actually bitten by an Adder when I lived there! 3 - What's the link between Ireland and Scotland? Another long answer that I'll try to keep short. Actually this could be a very long answer. But Scotland as we know it today was essentially formed by two ethnic groups - the Gaels and the Picts. The picts inhabited what is now Scotland for the most part before the Gaels arrived. The Gaels had been coming over from Ireland as far back as 500AD. Gaels (Gaelic speakers - the Irish/Scottish language) were a society based on Clans. Some of those clans - one of whom was called The Scots - were aggressive. Due to their aggressive nature, they were avoided by other clans and eventually decided in the middle ages that they wanted to create their own society. So, they began taking land on the west coast of what is now Scotland. At the time, the Picts inhabited a lot of that area of the country, with some Germanic tribes on the east coast and some Norman (kinda English) settlements towards the south of what is now Scotland. The Gaels came over and slaughtered a lot of the Picts and their society, taking the land and settling new villages. They eventually took most of the country, combining some Picts and Normans into their society, but essentially driving most cultures out. So, essentially, the Irish and the Scottish are ancestors and share a common language. This is obviously an incredible simplification of hundreds/thousands of years of culture and societal change. But yeah, there's more to it than just hating the English. 4 - Who actually likes the English? No one. Not even the English like the English. I'm from the Midlands, who are hated by northerners and southerners, simply for being from another part of the country. Self loathing and sarcasm is at the core of a lot of English comedy. We "take the piss" out of ourselves and each other as a form of flattery. Heck, as a people, we keep voting the Tories in - that says as much as it needs to about self hating. 5 - Russell Brand and how to alienate yourself from the average human. Oh man. Where do we begin. I've never really liked him. He used to be one of the biggest names in British comedy. How far he's fallen. He was "cancelled" in 2008 after calling a guest live on radio (the Andrew Sachs, who played Manuel in Fawlty Towers) and leaving a series of terrible voicemails about Sach's granddaughter, who Brand briefly dated. It ended his career on the BBC and other channels wouldn't touch him. He then tried his hand at alternative shows and channels, but the damage was done. He was outcast. He was also a massive drug addict and spent a long time in rehab - coming out almost enlightened. He created a YouTube channel and started something called "The Trews" which was a play on The News crossed with Truth. All of this content was very much left leaning, but through the lens of "everyone should live a free and happy life". There was actually a (I thought brilliant at the time) show where he hosted Jordan Peterson and the conversation was really engaging. This was pre-Peterson meltdown mode before he went completely down the Nazi rabbit hole. Anyway, that kind of just died out as he went away from talking about Buddhism, freedom, meditation, essential oils, yoga and fairness - and more into the COVID style conspiracies. I think a lot of "lost" left wing types saw familiar arguments with things like vaccines. It's an easy jump to go from "I think we should all be allowed to do our own thing" to "you can't force a vaccine on me, you fascist". Given the proximity of that sort of content to right wing media and Brands rapidly declining popularity, it doesn't surprise me this is where he's ended up. He IS right wing now, but like others, he's been lead here without realising, but now he's dug his heels in because he's 100% ego and no common sense.
If Brand does come on the podcast, be ready for a rollercoaster of madness where he might even have a psychotic episode. Honestly. He's a mess now and neck-deep in the world of conspiracies.

So, i've been doing some research on wall animations, its for my university paper, and by that I mean the ones from street artist BLU's works. Like "Muto" (2008) and his newer one "Sensemurs" (2022) and wall animation in general. My question is, if anyone knows other examples or the inspiration for this type of stop -motion animation on walls. I already found Lucía (2007) and Luis (2008) by Cristobal León & Joaquín Cociña the directors for The wolf house (2019), which they use other materials and techniques to work with as well. But i was wondering if anyone has come across other forms of this technique. I would be glad to research on. Thank you.

21 y/o male, been fat my entire life (240lbs for all of high school.) At the beginning of 2022, I decided to make a change and began fasting and going to the gym. Before I started, I got blood work done to get a baseline, as seen here
Other than the 90 year old man T level, the prolactin was my biggest concern. According to everything I can find on the internet, a pituitary tumor is the only thing that would cause the level to be that high. Perhaps it was a fluke or just due to being a stressed out fatty (I thought.)
Unfortunately a combination of work and generally being a lazy piece of shit has derailed much of my progress, but I have managed to lose and keep off 20lbs as well as cut my mile time by 2 minutes and significantly increase my PR's on compound lifts, prompting me to get another panel done 15 months later.
A 50% increase in T made me excited, especially given that I have a long way to go and can expect it to continue to rise. However, the prolactin is once again very high.
I've never experienced any of the common symptoms associated with high prolactin. I've had man boobs since I was 12, or that's what I presume they are at least (flabby fatty tissue with no dense mass under the nipples, no nipple sensitivity or protrusion, and no concentration of fat around or under the nipples.) Sex drive is high, erections are strong. Covered in body hair on back and stomach, though curiously almost none on face or arm pits.
Anyone have a similar experience? I already have an appointment with an endocrinologist for next month, just figured I'd ask here. Maybe someone will read and have some good resources or information.
Any/all help is appreciated. Thanks.

I am a few games deep with my friends and we have encountered a few rule questions we could not resolve for ourselves. I hope I can get some clarity here.
1: Tau Warriors have the ability to drop a turret. How does this turret interact with Unit Coherency? Does it just disappear normally if it is not within range?
2: Transports and moving after disembarking. "Units that disembark can then act normally (move, shoot, charge, fight, etc.) in the remainder of the turn, but its models count as having moved that turn, even if they are not moved further (i.e. they never count as having Remained Stationary)." I read that as you can still move the disembarked units afterwards, but if you do not move them, they still count as having moved. Is that correct?
3: Can Units/Characters use abilities while embarked in a transport (i.e. MWBD of a Necron Overlord)?
4: Actions. My Core Book states: "A unit can only attempt to perform one action per battle round, and the same action cannot be started by more than one unit from your army in the same battle round." Does that mean that you can only have one unit perform, lets say banners, on one objective per battle round? Or does it mean you can have a number of units try banners, but all on different objectives, because being on a different objective makes it a different action?
5: Actions again. My Core book states: "If a unit is destroyed, makes a Normal Move, Advances, Falls Back, attempts to manifest a psychic power, declares a charge, performs a Heroic Intervention or makes any attacks with ranged weapons after it has started to perform an action but before that action is completed, that action is failed." Is that a comprehensive list? Can I still attack in melee? Can I for example have a Canoptek Plasmacyte start an action, then buff the Skorpekhs next to it with its ability and still finish the action (provided it is still on the field after the Skorpekhs charge)?
6: Relics in AoO: How many Relics am I allowed to bring to an AoO game? Only 1? Or more if I use the codex Strats?
7: Warlord Traits in AoO: Same question as 6. Can I only have 1 Warlord Trait? Or can I give more to the army?
8: Szarekh and Warlord Traits: Does Szarekh need to have a Warlord Trait? BattleScribe produces an error if I try to run him without a Warlord Trait, but I can also pick his Warlord Trait without paying for the strat. What is the intended way to play this?

This man is nearly 30... and he talks with a lisp. (Sowwy me no no mean to make mommy angwy) when I'm in public he will shout that he has to make a poopy woopy. He's a literal 30 year old googoogaga Gerber baby... and when we first started dating I thought he had a sense of fun and I found him cute... then he started acting immature all of a sudden like if I grab the wrong food for him he will hide under his "bwanky" and give sad puppy dog eyes like lmao its creepy. "Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals."
Many non-human animals also seem to be having subjective experiences, and care for one another just like humans do. It's easy to find videos of vertebrates playing with one another, showing concern, or grieving loss. Humans have understood that animals are sentient for centuries. We've come to the point that laws are being passed acknowledging that fact. Even invertebrates can feel pain. In one experiment, fruit flies learned to avoid odours associated with electric shocks. In another, they were given an analgesic which let them pass through a heated tube, which they had previously avoided. Some invertebrates show hallmarks of emotional states, such as honeybees, which can develop a pessimistic cognitive bias.
If you've had pets, you know that they have a personality. My old cat was lazy but friendly. My current cat is inquisitive and playful. In the sense that they have a personality, they are persons. Animals are people. Most of us learn not to arbitrarily hurt other people for our own whims, and when we find out we have hurt someone, we feel shame and guilt. We should be vegan for the same reason we shouldn't kill and eat human beings: all sentient animals, including humans, are having a subjective experience and can feel pain, enjoy happiness and fear death. Ending that subjective experience is wrong. Intentionally hurting that sentient being is wrong. Paying someone else to do it for you doesn't make it better.
It's hard to quantify what this system does to humans. We know abusing animals is a predictor of anti-social personality disorder. Dehumanising opponents and subaltern peoples by comparing them to animals has a long history in racist propaganda, and especially in war propaganda. The hierarchies of nation, race and gender are complemented by the hierarchy of species. If humans were more compassionate to all kinds of sentient life, I'd hope that murder, racism and war would be more difficult for a normal person to conceive of doing. I think that treating species as a hierarchy, with life at the bottom of that hierarchy treated as a commodity, makes our society more brutal. I want a compassionate society.
To justify the abuse of sentient beings by appealing to the pleasure we get from eating them seems to me like a kind of socially acceptable psychopathy. We can and should do better.
A 2021 study increased that estimate to 9.8 gigatonnes, or 21% of human emissions.
This is why the individual emissions figures for animal vs plant foods are so stark, ranging from 60kg of CO2 equivalent for a kilo of beef, down to 300g for a kilo of nuts.
To limit global warming to 1.5 degrees by 2100, humanity needs to reduce its emissions by 45% by 2030, and become net zero by 2050.
Imagine if we achieve this goal by lowering emissions from everything else, but continue to kill and eat animals for our pleasure. That means we will have to find some way to suck carbon and methane out of the air to the tune of 14.5-21% of our current annual emissions (which is projected to increase as China and India increase their wealth and pick up the Standard American Diet). We will need to do this while still dedicating vast quantities of our land to growing crops and pastures for animals to feed on. Currently, 77% of the world's agricultural land is used for animal agriculture. So instead of freeing up that land to grow trees, sucking carbon out of the air, and making our task easier, we would instead choose to make our already hard task even harder.
I'm sure you've seen aerial and satellite photographs of horrific pigshit lagoons, coloured green and pink from the bacteria growing in them. When the farms flood, such as during hurricanes, that pig slurry spills over and infects whole regions with salmonella and listeria. Of course, even without hurricanes, animal manure is the main source of such bacteria in plant foods.
This inefficiency makes the previously mentioned 77% of arable land used for animal agriculture very troubling. 10% of the world was food insecure in 2020, up from 8.4% in 2019. Humanity is still experiencing population growth, so food insecurity will get worse in the future. We need to replace animal food with plant food just to stop people in the global periphery starving to death. Remember that food is a global commodity, so increased demand for soya-fed beef cattle in Brazil means increased costs around the world for beef, soya, and things that could have been grown in place of the soya.
Water resources are already becoming strained, even in developed countries like America, Britain and Germany. Like in the Soviet Union with the Aral Sea, America is actually causing some lakes, like the Great Salt Lake in Utah, to dry up due to agricultural irrigation. Rather than for cotton as with the Aral Sea, this is mostly for the sake of animal feed. 86.6% of irrigated water in Utah goes to alfalfa, pasture land and grass hay. A cloud of toxic dust kicked up from the dry lake bed will eventually envelop Salt Lake City, for the sake of an industry only worth 3% of the state's GDP.
Comparisons of water footprints for animal vs plant foods are gobsmacking, because pastures and feed crops take up so much space. As water resources become more scarce in the future thanks to the depletion of acquifers and changing weather patterns, human civilisation will have to choose either to use its water to produce more efficient plant foods, or eat a luxury that causes needless suffering for all involved.
Cholesterol and saturated fat from animal foods have been known to cause heart disease for half a century, dating back to studies like the LA Veterans Trial in 1969, and the North Karelia Project in 1972. Heart disease killed 700,000 Americans in 2020, almost twice as many as died from Covid-19.

Besides wrecking their mental health, it can also wreck their physical health. Because pig and human brains are so similar, the workers' immune systems began attacking their own nervous systems.
The psychopathic animal agriculture industry is not beyond exploiting children and even slaves.

3.1 Carcinogens, Cholesterol and Saturated Fat in Animal Products
In 2015, the World Health Organisation reviewed 800 studies, and concluded that red meat is a Group 2A carcinogen, while processed meat is a Group 1 carcinogen. I wrote out a novel pouring my heart out but my phone died and lost the what I wanted to post, I refuse to write it again and go through the same awful emotions. I was feeling so strong and confident up to 6 days after cold turkeying a short 4 weeks IV meth habit. My use went from .1 smoked in a couple days, to .1 being injected at once, to a week later injecting half a gram of fucking meth into my veins, missing, loading an even bigger shot (that’ll show that missed shot that I mean business) and proceeded to IV that. I’ve only ever had one meth run last summer but I never let it get to beyond .2 per shot, and I quit with relatively no cravings or issues other than feeling down and tired. My ex left me after I did everything for the girl I’m my power, and instead of trying to better myself so I can find a better partner, I weaseled my way back to meth, when opiates were my real addiction for a decade (now I only crave IV meth) and it got bad quickly. I met a beautiful and wonderful girl during my latest meth run but I wasn’t using daily. My connect/friend would only sell me half a gram every week so I wouldn’t overdo it, and in hindsight I thank him, but then I found a trustworthy guy who does 2g’s of quality for $100 which is a really good price here, and that’s when I started doing the big shots. I lost 20 pounds in 2 months, my use getting worse and worse, to where at the end it was daily, then even more towards the very end it was all day, the effect stopped being magical like it once was. But the entire time this amazing girl is showing me genuine interest and caring even though I told her my past drug use (not the most current) and I started getting really strong feelings for her. She said she’d leave me if I ever did anything other than weed or alcohol, but I wasn’t going to tell her my true addiction right away, she’s head for the hills, then I also feel terrible that this girl thinks I’m this amazingly sensitive, honest, and good guy who treats her well and cares about anything involving her life and life experiences, which I genuinely am, I’m honest to a fault EXCEPT for my current drug use because I don’t want to be defined as a drug addict when I’ve had 5 years clean time before, and most recently 6 months. It isn’t fair to this girl who might be the best and most genuine person I’ve ever met. I want 30 days clean time before I tell her what was really going on when she met me so she can see that I’m serious. I go to an addiction group 3 times a week for 3 hours at a time (my suboxone clinic knows I’ve been using meth and want me in this addiction group/IOP giving drug tests twice a week and getting my heart rate and blood pressure checked everyday so they know I’m not using) I have a therapist and a nurse practitioner working together to do whatever they can to help me, through my past opiate addiction to now this, they’ve never given up on me. Without getting into detail I hold a full time job because I have disability in my immediate family and they rely on part of my paycheck to live, I cannot go to rehab because my family wouldn’t survive without my part I help with. I have plenty of support outside of an inpatient rehab, everyone in my life cares for me. I’ve never stolen from anybody to get high, I always use alone for reasons I don’t know, however if I’m being honest I just have an obsession with getting high and feeling intense euphoria and will use any excuse to justify using. Right now I need your help in the form of advice. What do I do? I stopped for 6 days successfully, getting through the worst part of the withdrawal with zero cravings, to cravings that came out of nowhere where I’m messaging my dealer 10 seconds after my initial thought, like I’m not even controlling my actions or making decisions. I’m panicking, I’m crying writing this, I don’t want to be like this. I’ve spent every day and night at this girls apartment, we are officially dating and she wants me to move in with her, she’s gorgeous, she’s nice, she’s successful. Right now I don’t deserve her, she deserves to know the truth so she can make her decision if she wants to deal with that, I just want 4 weeks clean time. She’s not suspicious even though I put on 18 pounds in the 6days I quit because I couldn’t stop eating, but it all went into my muscles that were screaming for carbohydrates and protein, can be explained by some creatine and extra food. I can’t consciously lie to her because I don’t want to lose her, she doesn’t deserve that, and I can’t live with myself if I don’t tell her the truth soon. If I wait longer I’d maybe be trapping her into a choice she wouldn’t have made had she known the truth. How can I feel so confident about being done with this disgusting shit for 6 days while I’m withdrawal, to having intense cravings I couldn’t control once I started feeling better without the substance. It’s not fair. I hate being like this. I dont deserve a girl like her, if I could man up and stay clean then I definitely deserve her because I treat her like an Angel as she deserves IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE, but the lying about the drugs part. In my whole life I’ve been a strictly honest person, except when it comes to my most current drug use, because I don’t want to be defined as an addict because I’m much more than that. I need to stop crystal meth before I lose the entire life I’ve come to know and love, if I stop now, I don’t have to lose everything I worked so hard for. I want to stop so deeply in my soul. Please tell me what to do. Please. How can you manage the cravings specifically for IV meth. Getting off of heroin/fent was hard, but the cravings to get that rush weren’t as intense as from meth. Only scary part was the physical withdrawal. For meth it’s the mental withdrawal after successfully detoxing, what can I do? Or would letting myself die from a drug overdose be my only option of some relief. 6% of meth users can quit for good, that’s all routes of administration, I’m using the most abusable method so my chances are even lower. I’m determined to not let this slip up fuck up my entire recovery, I just need to be told what to do and how to cope with the cravings that come out of NO WHERE. Please help me, I’m begging you guys
