I opened a business checking account yesterday and the amex card logo that lets you toggle between your accounts disappeared from my account. I can no longer view any of my accounts when I login at americanexpress.com. Has anyone else had this issue? There's a business login page that lets me view the accounts, but you can't go back and forth between personal accounts and business ones. This all started after I accepted the free "Amex Business Blueprint" feature. Has anyone else had similar issues?
Edit update: looks like Amex has fixed the glitch now!

In Europe OVH is extremely popular and most web agencies just rent a server from them.
That means most small businesses with a custom email are indirectly using OVH.
I get calls from customers who are saying that my email address is wrong, because they get the rejection email. In their eyes it's an error message and users don't read error messages. It's impossibile that they will contact their web agency to tell them to ask to be whitelisted on mxrbl. They will just contact my competitor.
If i buy something from some small European online shop, there are chances i will never get the confirmation email, the invoice, the tracking, and so on
Since December i can't even login to americanexpress.it to get the card statement because I can't receive the otp code that they send by email
I even tried to ask to a web agency (using a Gmail because otherwise they couldn't reply) if they can ask to be whitelisted on mxrbl and i got a very snark response with a screenshot of my own mx records hosted on ovh canada
So, yes, spam from OVH is a problem because anyone can rent a VPS with a few dollars and start massive spam campaigns, but between all those emails there are too many legitimate ones.
It's not like banning sendgrid shared IP addresses. Big businesses on sendgrid will use a dedicated IP address (so: not affected) and small businesses won't use the sendgrid free/basic plan because it's harder to configure and anyway because it's blocked from Hotmail it's a non starter.
In conclusion: can you reconsider your decision? Or making it opt out for an account, or giving -50 points in spam assassin.

Cashbackmonitor.com is a site that compares how what different shopping portals are offering a particular website. I use this to decide what portal to use. Airline shopping portals often have periods where they offered a signup bonus and a bonus for downloading the browser extension.
TopCashBack: shopping portal that gives 100% of the cashback back and makes their money through companies' advertising. There are a few more complaints about tracking issues than other portals. I use this one frequently.
Rakuten: shopping portal that you can link to American Express and receive Membership Rewards (MR) points instead of cash.
Extrabux: shopping portal that also offers chance of daily bonuses gains
ActiveJunky: shopping portal that often has a higher cashback rate for outdoosports sites
BeFrugal: shopping portal that sometimes has sites others do not

Fetch: Product-focused receipt scanner, you do not need to select items. Does take online receipts.

Many "high-end" (I hate that term) baby manufacturers have a minimum price that must be charged for their items and do not allow coupons. A few retailers get around that by offering reward programs that provide a percentage of cashback as credit. These sometimes can be stacked with shopping portals.

So I am trying to use the online password reset at https://www.americanexpress.com/en-in/account/login in order reset the password for my online account. However I am encountering a frustrating issue for which I cannot find a solution elsewhere online. [
Basically I have gone through most of the steps of the password reset process but eventually it asks me for a 3 digit code which the American Express website states are the " last three numbers printed on the signature strip on the back of your Card." However my card (which was printed quite a few years ago and is plastic) does not have any 3 digit code written anywhere on the front or back of the card. In the spot indicated on the back of the card directly below the signature strip is my full card # with the expiration date to the right. The signature strip has no numbers written directly to the right of it either (other than a tiny American Express logo within a blue square). There are no obvious areas on my card of smudging where the numbers would have worn off.

Hi there, I got a british airways card few months ago and I'm trying to figure out how to transfer points and where do they go? I've read online that during my application they should have asked for my British Airways account details, but I was never asked for anything.
If I login into my BA account, I can connect an amex card. Which I did. In my Amex benefits page, I see that at some point, 600 points were transferred but I have no idea where they went. They're not on my BA account.
I have multiple cards and this is my first Amex but I must say the mobile app and website is very poor compared to all my other.
- The live chat doesn't work. Yes I'm logged in, tried multiple browsers even with adblock disabled. Visiting this page while logged in https://www.americanexpress.com/uk/contact-us/ shows nothing.
- The mobile app doesn't even have an option for chat.
- When I'm logged in on the website, the chat section on the contact page loads for a few seconds then just disappears.
- The rewards page on the website shows me the points for each transaction and next to "Avios to be transferred" there's nothing. That text can be clicked once you click it you get a nice error page.
I'll try call in the morning but overall it has been a very poor experience. Thought I'd leave a message on here to see if anybody had the same issue or has any idea.

I noticed on the Amex cards offered page today that of the cards listed Platinum isn't one of them. I can still refer friends when I login and get a personalized link like this (this link is my personalized link FYI).

• If you're not on the offers page click it once will send you to the page (or send you to the login and then to the page).
• Once you're on the offers page clicking it once will click all the "Add to Card" buttons (2-second pause in between) and then show an alert when it's done.

Right now my wife and two kids are AUs on my Amex Gold. We each have a login on americanexpress.com w/our own offers, and can use the same offer up to 4 times, once on each card, if an offer appears to all 4 cards.
If my wife gets her own Amex card, and adds it to her current account on americanexpress.com, and makes the rest of the family AUs, and we all add it to our accounts, I assume we wouldn't be able to redeem an offer 8 times, once for each card for each person, since the offers are per account, not per card like Chase. Let me know if this is an incorrect assumption.
If it isn't, would it be possible to create separate americanexpress.com accounts for the new card to get around this?

Surprising ; I was thinking AMEX USA customers can only login using AMEX USA online portal.
I was thinking Geo-Portals are dedicated to customers who have Amex cards from that respective countries.

I just got an instant approval for the Schwab Amex Platinum.
I already see the card on my Amex account - but don't see anything on my Schwab account.
Does anyone know/remember how long it takes for the Amex to show up on my Schwab account - and how I use and activate the "Invest With MR" feature? I saw one article that those transfers are initiated through Schwab, not Amex, is that correct?

I got everything resolved so I'm just updating with some notes on the process, for anyone else with questions.

• When I applied for the card, I got an instant approval, and a temporary card number to use before my physical card showed up.
• Within hours, the card showed up on my AMEX account, and by the next day, it was in my Schwab account.
• This is what it looked like on my Schwab account. It showed up for me between my "Accounts" list and my "Positions" list on my homepage.
• To initiate an "Invest with Points" transaction, you click on your Membership Rewards balance on Schwab, which takes you to this link on the American Express site: https://rewards.americanexpress.com/myca/loyalty/us/rewards/rw/csb/iwrhome <---- NOTE: I have no idea if special things come from Schwab's site to AMEX's when you click through, or if you can just "start" there to initiate a transfer.
• I first tried to do this before getting my physical card, with my digital temporary one. It didn't work.
  • Side note: Once I got my physical card, I discovered an issue. I had 2 MR accounts (under a single Amex login), one with just a few thousand MR in it, and one with the bulk of my MR that I planned to cash out. The Schwab card was associated with the account with just a few thousand MR in it.
  • I had to call AMEX MR customer service. It took, according to my phone, 1-hour and 8 minutes, but in the end they got my MR accounts combined, with all my cards feeding into a single MR "bucket." NOTE that during the process, I googled and found some threads on Flyertalk with people suggesting that you should not do this because it might limit your potential for future signup offers/bonuses. It made sense for my situation though.
• With my physical card, I had no problem initiating a transfer from my Schwab card through the link above. I expected some delay, but it was instant or close to it. When I checked my Schwab and Amex accounts about an hour later, the $$s were in my Schwab account, and the points were gone from my Amex account.

Final Notes I just wanted to put some notes in here about when this might make sense, and when it might not.
Places like TPG "value" AMEX MR points at around $0.02/MR. Of course, they base that on very specific stuff like transferring MR to an airline partner, and booking a very expensive business-class international flight with those points.
That's great when it works and aligns with your travel and rewards points goals. But, it doesn't always.
So, there are other ways to use your MR. When you "pay with points" through AMEX most of the time, you're only getting $0.007/MR, such as if you apply MR to a charge on your statement, shop on Amazon or try to pay for a hotel you book through AMEX travel.
Booking airfare through the MR travel portal is a bit better deal, where you get $0.01/MR. If you have a Biz Platinum with the 30% "Pay with MR" option, you can effectively get $0.013 when you're buying airfare with MR on your selected airline, or any biz+ class fare.
But again, that's limited.
The Schwab platinum effectively lets you "cash out" your MR $0.0125/MR. It sets a new floor for the lowest-value MR you should ever get, and gives you the ultimate in flexibility.
Is it right for everyone? Certainly not. Does it make sense in some situations? Yeah, absolutely.
Honestly, apart from a better signup bonus, I don't know why anyone would choose the non-Schwab personal platinum over the Schwab. The benefits are identical, apart from the Schwab plat's invest with points bonus.
"One Weird Trick"
One final note that'll only affect a small percentage of cardholders. If you have access to a business spend that lets you make large purchases, above $5K at a time, (or, say, you're paying your tax bill through an online service that accepts credit cards, or making large personal purchases) - you can effectively turn your AMEX Biz Plat into a 1.875% cashback card.
Biz platinum earn 1.5x M$ on any single purchase above $5K. Combine that with the Schwab's $0.0125 cashout option, and you're earning $0.01875 in "cashback" on every dollar you spend on large purchases on the Biz Plat.
Like I said, not super relevant for most users, but worth noting for rare occasions and specific user-types.

So I went in to apply for a corporate card discount on my personal annual fee

I was denied immediately. I went into all of the terms and it seemed to indicate that my corporate card DID entitle me. I contacted customer service and they confirmed that it was strange and I was eligible so they put in a request to get me the credit. The thing is...I’m pretty sure they just credited my account manually instead of having me registered to just get it automatically every year. Has anyone else had this happen before? Is there a way to find out if you are properly registered for the program?

I have the T-Mobile variant of the OnePlus 6T, use 1Password as my password manager, and browse the web with Chrome.
For a couple of months now I noticed that with Chrome on certain websites, like americanexpress.com, if I try to use 1Password's fingerprint unlock to autofill my login, it won't work. The screen turns dim when the fingerprint icon is usually much brighter. Putting my finger over it starts the animation, but it doesn't really register a success or fail. It just kind of does nothing. If I switch to Firefox this doesn't happen.
I tried 1Password support, but they said it might be a problem with OnePlus' non-standard implementation of the on screen fingerprint sensor.
Has anyone else encountered this problem and/or know of a fix?
