I always thought antihistamine tablets were steroids before someone on another post corrected me. It's very effective in eliminating symptoms, definitely better than the actual steroid cream I apply. So, I always stopped taking after maximum 1 week, afraid it might come back at me with other conditions. Even though some symptoms show up, I didn't take more tablets.
Can I take antihistamine tablets more often? Take it whenever it flares up randomly?
I couldn't really find critical side effects on the internet besides drowsiness etc.

Hello dear estonians! I recently discovered estonian films and I really enjoyed, you have fascinating films and I would like to see as many as I can. Some days ago I heard that ''Siin me oleme!'' It is the best comedy film from the communist era so I decided to watch it. I found it, I downloaded it but unfortunately, there was only a sub for it on the whole internet and that was in estonain. I really tried to find an english version of the film but I couldn't find any. So I decided to translate the whole sub from estonian in english but since I am not a native of this language it was very difficult but I think I managed somehow to do a pretty decent translation.
My request to you is to take a look of what I did and correct the lines that are translated wrong in english by me. There are 600 lines and more than half of the sub is translated ok. I would be very thankful if you could help me!!

Dear compsci students/ graduates/ employees,
As a high-school student, with a deadweight hp (word ate at my processor like it was a baby's teether whilst doing my IB physics IA), I would like some advice on which devices I should get for my future studies?
I was thinking of: 1. Completely ditching the whole laptop thing and just getting an ipad Pro with a pencil, magic keyboard etc? 2. Just getting a mac book pro? 3. Getting another (non mac) laptop (I.e. lenevo or another hp)
Please help this desperate student out. I cannot stand waiting for my laptop to type a single sentence for 2 minutes for my next IA (for non-IB students, its basically a piece of course work that is usually a report or essay for a subject). However, I guess I can wait because I desperately need to know which path I should pursue (resign to Apple or continue to the non apple route).

I've been experiencing the "loading glitch" for a week now. Does anyone have the same problem? For example, whenever I click on something (buying a buff in arena or so), the loading symbol appears for a second or two. And it appears pretty often.. It's not a big deal or so but I just want to see if it's because of my internet connection (it's pretty fast so I'm bit confused) or it's in the game. Btw, before the last big update, I didn't experience nothing like that..

This happens if the mouse was idle for some time and the only fix I use for this issue is to turn it off and then on again it starts working again
is there a permanent solution for this?

I’ll start this by saying I am deeply grateful to have 6 days today!! I have been in recovery since February 2021.
I have extremely mixed feelings about AA.
I am forever grateful to it for a few reasons, mainly that I have some really incredible, supportive, amazing people I can call true friends that I have met in the program.
The raw human connection and ability to speak freely about the struggles of alcoholism is another. Although I won’t go as far as to say it’s judgement free.
I have a home group that I discovered fresh out of rehab in 2021, and in one of my longer periods of sobriety I was secretary for the meeting. I know the ins and outs, have read the literature, and have a lovely sponsor (although we have not worked “the steps” together.) I’ve also spent time in a women’s sober living where I attended in person meetings on a daily basis.
To be completely honest - the constant speaking about alcoholism and addiction in general in AA, and the idea that every day I’m supposed to tell myself I’m an alcoholic is super depressing.
There have also been instances where I have known people to be abusive, even dangerous, to newcomers. (Again, it’s outliers and not common, but common enough to make me disagree with the 4th step of pouring your trauma out to someone who may or may not have the mental capacity to be there for you.)
That, and there’s a lot of annoying people on high horses and weird power play bullshit. Not just in my home group but in a lot of meetings I’ve been to.
Ultimately I don’t agree that AA is a one size fits all.
I think it works for a lot of people and I truly appreciate its community so dearly.
Deep down in my heart, I know my personal healing journey will not be a “by the book”, 12 step centered path.
I will continue to lean on my friends in recovery for support as well as just focusing on the relationships I’ve let suffer as a result of my most recent slips. I’m trying to practice self care, enjoying as much Sprite and lifesaver gummies as I want, and spending time with loved ones.
Prayer and meditation are vital to my everyday spiritual health, and that came way before I even started drinking. Without prayer I truly believe I would be dead.

Hey guy's so like a month ago I got hacked, and after I saw that recently a lot of youtubers, including Linus Tech Tips got hacked too I said maybe I should raise it here as we have big chunk of money stored on our computer.
TL;DR- don't use "Remember me on this device", especially now when you can just scan a QR code, and don't download shit on the internet. Anti virus is your help, not your shining knight.
It went like that- One day I sit in my office, and see that my small YouTube channel got comments from random people internationally, and when I logged in I saw I apparently host live streams of free cheats for different games.
I changed my password and logged out all devices, but it was so weird to me that no 2FA was triggered. I got scared and thought changing the password was enough.
Then I'm at work (Where steam is blocked, so I couldn't access it from my PC xD) I see that my x case was sold at the steam market. After 2-3 cases I thought oh maybe I listed cases after I got them in game, but then I saw more and more and understood that I'm f ed. Basically they sold lots of different stuff, some cheap holos (3-5$) and souvenir cases, Dreams cases and some 1-5$ skins I had, but I was on it so I changed my password and it stopped quickly.
Their way was to sell those items quickly, just for 1-2$ even if they're worth 5x that, then they bought some shitty trading cards that go for 0.1$ at 5$ and this is how they transferred the money to their account. Luckily I managed to stop them after losing only like 20-25$, and they couldn't touch the expensive stuff as they don't have access to my phone- but that was my concern, how can they sell stuff and do all of that without access to my phone?
That's where the hack comes in place- couple of days before that I downloaded some files for my video editing hobby, and apparently one of them was infected. When you download and execute the file on your PC the bad actor has an "invisible browser" running on your PC, and it uses your cookies- every site where you click "Remember me on this device and skip 2FA authentication". This way he just has access to your web browser and he logs in automatically to your google account, steam, amazon etc.
That's why I didn't receive any message from steam or google regarding 2FA, and I guess the items he sold were ones that didn't require steam confirmation for some reason. They did all of it fast, in 5-10m I sold 150 items and send them already like 10-15$. When they tried to hack my amazon account they spammed me with emails - I got subscribed to maybe 100-200 different sites mailing list, this way probably they thought I will be flooded with notifications and won't see the mails that are important, Amazon, steam etc.
The downloaded files aren't scanned by anti-virus because they will be huge - 700 MB for example. This malware is called YTStealer or RedStealer, and it's using your cookies.
Luckily for me the hacker was stupid and although he knew my time zone he still acted on the same time each day...He could've just done it at night and I would've been fucked.

So, How do I stay safe?

1. Assume you gonna get hacked- don't use "Remember me on this device" or "Skip 2FA on this device". Better to spend 1-2 more minutes each time then to face this shit.
2. DONT DOWNLOAD SHIT ON THE INTERNET, the bad actors will target youtubers and gamers- so you can find the malicious files in pirated content and games, Video editing stuff- softwares, effects, content packs etc, mails with fake contracts and PDF files which will be huge and might come from legit addresses too! (PDF file shouldn't be 1GB in size)
3. Run Windows deep scans every once in a while, all of them.
4. Use storage units- Whatever you don't need to use- leave it inside a storage unit. They can't touch what's there because they will need to run the game for that and you will get notification for them trying to enter.
5. Use strong passwords, example for that would be: "[email protected]?!etFo7um" . use 15+ characters, different symbols signs and words, not your pet and mom's name.

I work in the cyber security field and still got hacked, so don't think that it won't happen to you :)

Il me semble qu'au final, l'immigration n'est pas le problème. Le problème, ce sont "certains" immigrés que je qualifierai "d'immigrés de mauvaise qualité". Un immigré de mauvaise qualité, c'est un immigré qui rejette nos valeurs et qui ne vient pas parce qu'il aime notre société mais parce qu'il a l'intention de la parasiter ou de la modifier à son profit et à nos dépens.
Par conséquent, le problème n'est pas l'immigration en général mais l'immigration de mauvaise qualité. Et si le problème n'est pas correctement diagnostiqué, le remède ne sera pas adapté.
Au lieu de proposer un arrêt pur et simple de l'immigration, Zemmour ferait mieux de proposer un système d'immigration sélectif. Cette mesure serait perçue comme moins radicale et plus acceptable par le commun des français (y compris les nombreux français qui ont des liens familiaux avec des étrangers) et Zemmour aurait alors une chance d'accéder au pouvoir.
Comment remplacer notre immigration de mauvaise qualité par une immigration de qualité ? C'est très simple en fait. Il suffit de mettre en place des critères pertinents pour l'octroi des visas et/ou des titres de séjour.
Par exemple, si on considère que la maitrise du français est essentielle, alors on fait passer un test de français aux candidats à l'immigration.
Cependant, le point vraiment essentiel à mon avis, c'est de faire une enquête pour évaluer la compatibilité des candidats avec nos valeurs. En gros, nos valeurs sont celles qui sont énoncées dans la Constitution. Démocratie, égalité homme-femme, liberté d'expression, séparation de l'église et de l'état, etc. Ca exclu d'office les musulmans convaincus. Un entretien et / ou une enquête sur les réseaux sociaux permettrait de le déterminer assez facilement. Un fonctionnaire aguerri devrait être capable de détecter les menteurs.
On devrait également facturer les candidatures pour éviter les demandes excessives et financer une partie du système. Les entretiens avec les fonctionnaires en charge de la sélection, pourraient s'effectuer via internet. Cela se passerait un peu comme un entretien d'embauche.
Ce qui me semble indispensable pour que cela fonctionne, c'est de créer une incitation financière pour que les fonctionnaires en charge de la sélection des immigrés fassent correctement leur boulot. Il faudrait leur donner un quota maximum de profils à accepter chaque mois ou chaque année et lier le sort des immigrés sélectionnés à leur salaire. Par exemple, la moitié de leur salaire resterait bloqué sur un compte et serait débloqué au bout de 3 ans si l'immigré n'a commis aucun crime ni délit. En revanche, si l'immigré sélectionné a commis un crime ou délit au cours des 3 ans après son arrivée, son sélectionneur ne reçoit pas l'argent.
Enfin, il faudrait prévoir une peine sévère pour corruption afin de dissuader les fonctionnaires qui seraient tentés de toucher des pots de vin proposés par les candidats.
On pourrait parfaitement associer ce système de sélection à ce que propose Zemmour sur le retrait des prestations sociales non contributives aux immigrés ainsi que la proposition d'expulser les immigrés qui commettent des crimes et/ou délits.

Do you know the bullshit I hear every day? I hear excuses. I hear reasons why so and so couldn’t get clean. I hear excuses why so and so couldn’t go to rehab. I hear excuses why so and so couldn’t get a sponsor, or do the steps, or live in a sober living, or whatever it is. They’re all excuses. When it came to my heroin there were no excuses and I always got high. I chase recovery like a bag of dope. You know why? Hi, yesterday when i was switching mail accounts i accedentaly clicked log out. Not a big deal usualy. But the problem is that i have forgot my password. Thats not a big deal either but.
