2023.03.22 10:46 TsurakMakto classic “not trans enough” moment
it’s a long one sorry, pls take down if against the rules, im j really struggling tonight . . . i came out to my parents tonight and i cried my heart out talking to them. they were supportive and i’m so so thankful for that! unfortunately i’m now feeling like a huge burden i’m in the process of getting T but now i feel like i shouldn’t - i should back out while i still can because life as a visible trans person can be so hard,, im throwing away so many opportunities in the future
i reassure myself each time i get like this and i get over it pretty fast bc if i hadn’t accepted myself as transmasc, i would have never recovered from my eating disorder. i struggle every day thinking about the aspects of myself that T could help, that top surgery could solve. i see other trans men and it makes me so insanely happy! leaving counselling appts after discussing T i’m almost in tears i’m so excited!
but i have a nagging feeling in my heart that i’ve faked this. i’ve tricked everyone into believing i’m trans, even myself! in person i’m so awkward talking about transition and i don’t want bottom surgery so that means i can’t be trans right? i can deal w living as a woman (even tho the word makes me wanna throw up) so why not stay that way? idk, man, i just,, i don’t know what’s wrong w me,, im so scared,, i’ve still got 6 months in the process to get T so plenty of time to think but i just wish i knew what i wanted for real,, i know it’s not this tho *motions vaguely to self
how can you know if you’ve tricked yourself into believing your trans? how do you know it’s the right choice?

2023.03.22 10:43 RenegadeWanderer_ I'm Suffering and I have No Support! I Can't It Anymore!
I have all kinds of mental and physical health problems. I have learning disabilities. I was homeschooled and got a poor education. I live in the mountains of Southern California and hate it. There is nothing here. My anxiety has gotten so bad I haven't left the house in over 10 years except to go to the hospital. I also suffer from gender dysphoria and I have no support from family. I have no friends. I'm an atheist now, have been for 8 years, and before that when I went to church I was bullied. At 18 I had to have heart surgery for a defect that went unnoticed. No one in the family would talk or interact with me. I went to the hospital believing I was gonna die and that's why no one talked to me. When I got back home, family that ignored me continued to ignore and family who bullied me, bullied me worse. Saying I was weak and pathetic because of my heart problem.
I'm in chronic pain, I'm ill all of the time, be alone and trapped. I can't talk to anyone I know. I tried reaching out again and got told I'm disgusting for not identifying with my gender. I got called worthless and evil for being an atheist. I can't do anything on my own. I couldn't pass the drivers written test and developed extreme anxiety being in or near cars. I'm trapped. I feel like a terrified 10 year old in this body that I hate. My health problems prevent me from transitioning at all. I have no support and I just can't take it anymore. No one will listen to me. I told family I was depressed and suicidal and they don't care. Some of them want me to die because I'm a freak to them. I have anxiety with everything. I can't even talk to people on the phone. I just wanna die. I can't take it anymore. I'm so useless. I don't know how to do anything most people do. I'm just scared and anxious all the time. I've rarely been around people so I don't know how to socialize or have a conversation in person. I don't enjoy anything anymore. Nothing helps.
I just wanna die! I can't do it! I'm sick of seeing my reflection. I'm sick of all these health problems that prevent me from becoming who I am inside. I'm sick of this horrible family not giving a shit and telling me I'm disgusting, evil, and worthless. I need help and there's no help. I've never done anything on my own and I can't. I've tried, but I can't. Death is the only way for me to end this misery.

2023.03.22 10:42 caliban9 Windows 11 Text Colour Question
I have cataracts in both eyes (surgery scheduled) and meanwhile I'm finding the font colour in Windows 11 is too (light) grey for me to read easily. There isn't enough contrast between the type and the background. I'd like to know if there's a setting that will change the type from grey to black.
I've tried the high contrast setting that's offered, but it's very ugly and barren-looking. I'd appreciate any suggestions as to how to increase the contrast by rendering the type a solid black.

2023.03.22 10:42 lazy_pr0fessor [Skin Concerns] Syringoma, my confidence destroyer.
I had syringoma for prolly 10 years now. Before it was very few on cheeks and not noticeable. But nowadays, it's getting so bad. I have so many syringoma on my eye area. Also, its starting to appear on my eyelids area which is very sensitive. Sometimes, my eyes even swell.
I went to different dermatologist. Some said it not possible to prevent or make it disappear. Some said i need to do laser surgery which is risk as it is in eye area. Again, I went to another dermatologist and he recommended me to do electrocautery. So I thought it would work(did 4 sessions). But it still didn't workout. I got syringoma at same place. And now it's worse as it left some scars. I am wearing a cream but I don't think its working as well. Its only making my eyes area skin peel.
I get so insecure about it. I can't even eye contact properly. People always ask me whats on your eyes. I think no one will like me cause of my eyes Its so depressing. Guys, do you have any suggestion that will atleast minimize the appearance of syringoma?

2023.03.22 10:40 Glass_Candle5394 Advice Situationship (tw: self harm, suicide)
Hi,
Im a 28yr(f) and ive had a Situationship with a 30 yr(m) for 4 months now. We had known each other for 15 years and we had a lot of wonderful situations like going away for my birthday, long night convos, supported each other in bad times.
I was there for the loss of his mom, he was there when I was in a bad situation, he was always there for when I wanted to have a good time, he knows my family and they love him
He is the most gentle most kindest guy I ever met. Makes me so comfortable, talks kind of me when I’m not around, defends me, protects me, looks out for me, cooks for me. Knows everything about me and I know everything about him.
However, unfortunately I find a lot of that Is out weighed because of his darker side and the chaos it brings. He will get drunk and ring me at 3am or 8am somedays going off the rails, not talk to me for a week at a time but I refuse to reach out and chase him, he is never to commit because once a week he has some sort of out burst where he’s totally off the rails talking about wanting to die.
(He slit his wrists wide open when we were teens and he had surgery after surgery to fix it and severed all his tenants.)
Finally after the last time he went off and then refused to answer my texts. I got so mad I ignored him for a week after and went on another date with another guy and he said “ I should give you a reason to keep going on your little dates, and just get the fuck out of your way for good.”
So things flopped with my date of course and I come running back to him and he does the same cycle last time he broke his phone and I thought he might of hurt himself so he called me a week later after going to my brothers work to get my number and I was crying my eyes out when I finally seen him and told him I was so so tired of worrying about him I told him “please just lay with me I wanna be with you.”
I told him I’m so tired of the chaos “ I take every bit of you you have to offer, stay in my place, and I feel like you slap me in the face every time I set boundaries with you to ease my mind that your okay because you are so unpredictable at this point”
After that night he checks in but, I literally am at a loss what to do anymore. I have always had feelings for him and I know he’s so unhealthy when he’s like this but I’m scared to not be available.
I’m his only person he’s trusted to see him for who he is years, more than life of the party, more than the most popular and most loved guy in a room. Im
What should I do?!?

2023.03.22 10:38 SteadfastEnd I am 35M and planning to do LASIK, but also psychedelics. How serious is the risk?
I was told by some doctors that there is no risk of corneal neuralgia if doing psychedelic drugs after LASIK eye surgery, but one other doctor then said there is significant risk of such neuralgia if done any time within 6 months after LASIK (due to the corneal nerves still healing.)
I have to make the LASIK decision in the next few days and I'm torn. Any advice? I have to schedule the surgery, or cancel, soon.
I am on prescribed ketamine, also take vitamin, probiotic, supplements.

Zeke's my favorite character so of course I'm biased. Anyways Zeke's plan was to sterilize all Eldians. Not only would this have brought an end to the Era of Titans but it would have also greatly weaken Marley's Military strength, and because of that all the other countries that Marley colonized might be able to free themselves.

2023.03.22 10:35 Mospeciol Blocked fallopian tubes: A Common Cause of Infertility
Infertility is a common issue that affects many couples trying to have a baby.
Although there are numerous potential causes of infertility, one of the most common causes is tubal-related infertility.
Tubal-related infertility, also known as tubal factor infertility, is caused by damage to the fallopian tubes.
This damage can be caused by prior infection, surgery, or birth defects. When the fallopian tubes are damaged, the egg may not be able to travel properly and fertilization may not occur.
Additionally, if the tubes are blocked, the sperm may not be able to reach the egg, preventing fertilization from occurring.
The most common symptom of tubal-related infertility is pain in the lower abdomen.
Other symptoms may include fever, nausea, and abnormal vaginal discharge.

2023.03.22 10:33 canhan7 To all women with self-doubt: it's never up to you.
This post is for all women who are struggling with their self-esteem due to their partner's porn addiction. I know that this affects many in this subreddit and it can get so dangerous that it goes as far as surgery and eating disorders. I will tell you one thing for sure: it's not you! No matter how "perfect" you look, it doesn't change this addiction and on which women he looks at on the internet.
Without meaning that somehow arrogant, because I also have self-doubt without end (and I think beauty is never about one body type and sooo individual for everyone) but my body is not really different from the porn stars on the Internet. I'm a tall woman with 90-60-90 measurements, have worked out regularly all my life, am limber, get a perfect bikini model summer tan and have been looked at and approached by men all my life. In previous relationship I never had the feeling that other women are only interesting at all.
And yet... I was walking around city with my PA boyfriend in hotpans and I still caught him looking at the asses of complete strangers while I was having a conversation with him. It didn't matter what this women looked like, I noticed it with ALL body types - the main thing was tight clothing. As soon as I was out of the house, he started to watch porn sites, porn games, Instagram , even chatted with people, even though we had sex every day(!) at that time - during which he also always had an orgasm and never struggled with erectile dysfunction. It almost felt like he was waiting for me to finally leave so he could watch porn WHILE he (referring to the body) had the "porn star" in real in his bed before...It got to the point where he fell asleep while pleasuring me. All of this completely broke my heart.
What I have to say to all you beautiful women in this thread: no matter if you feel that you have too little bust size compared to porn stars, too much weight, or you think you can't perform 'well enough' in bed. NONE of that is it. You could absolutely fit that image and still the addiction is so deep in his brain that you don't stand a chance.
A good tip that helped me through was to read neurobiological studies that show how the brain of a porn addict changes. Some examples if you are interested: - Neurobiology of Sex and Pornography Addictions: A Primer (
https://doi.org/10.1177/26318318221116042)
and -
https://fightthenewdrug.org/cambridge-neuroscientist-valerie-voon-porn-drug-addict-brain/ There are also some youtube videos if you are not a fan of medical studies. This helped me understand that it is NOT me or you. No matter what you would look like, the porn addict's brain is so altered - what you can also see in the MRI when you compare the reaction to lightly dressed women with that of a non-addict. HE has to understand that himself and get off and only then can those external triggers subside.
At the end of the day YOU are perfect just the way you are. And he is the one with the problem. All those women will never give him fulfillment or make him happy for more than a few seconds at a clip. All those "perfect" women will never be enough for him either. When faced with all these doubts and lies, try to think of yourself. I almost lost the body I was happy with because I was vomiting daily from all the lies I found out... I had no appetite for days, not going to the gym because I was just lying in bed crying with the blinds drawn, I look paler and 10 years older from all the sleepless nights and pain. Whether you leave this relationship or keep fighting for it, don't make the same mistake I did and think about yourself too and do something for your self-esteem and mental health every day. Either way, it's the only way to heal.
You are beautiful the way you are and if you do not manage to escape this trap, do not hesitate to seek therapeutic help. If you have any questions or are looking for someone to cry to: feel free to write me. Much love <3

2023.03.22 10:31 drnehagynaecologist Are you finding the best gynecologist in south Delhi?
The
best gynecologist in south Delhi can also help you understand the process of getting pregnant. For instance, if you have trouble ovulating (releasing an egg from the ovary), your doctor can prescribe medications that increase the amount of ovulation. Or, if you have problems with your uterine lining or the walls of your fallopian tubes, they can help you treat those.
Some of the treatments used for infertility include hormone shots to boost ovulation and intrauterine insemination (IUI). Oral medication to promote the release of eggs and help with fertility is another option.

Other types of infertility treatment include surgery to remove endometriosis or uterine fibroids. These are benign tumors that cause a woman to have a hard time conceiving. In some cases, surgical removal of these tumors is enough to make a woman pregnant.

2023.03.22 10:28 Bihari_Bull1 Should I go for physiotherapy after my ACL surgery
I had my ACL reconstruction surgery about a week ago. And for about 3 days my physiotherapist was visiting me on a regular basis for a physiotherapy session. Today I went to see my surgeon for consultation and redressing and he said that physiotherapy is unnecessary and I should do exercises on my own. He also told me a couple of exercises to do. I am a little confused here. What should I do

2023.03.22 10:28 RedRoverDestroysU So I talked to my doctor, DR GPT about the injury...
He thinks its a hyperextended knee. He said:
Here are some general guidelines for recovery time after a hyperextended knee:
Mild sprain: A mild sprain can usually be treated with rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE), and may take several days to a few weeks to fully heal.
Moderate sprain: A moderate sprain may require physical therapy and can take several weeks to a few months to fully heal.
Severe sprain or ligament tear: A severe sprain or ligament tear may require surgery and can take several months to a year or more to fully recover.
So if hyperextended, and if mild, BEST case scenario is a week minimum, and maybe to the start of the playoffs.
Anything after that is maybe Western Conference Finals.
And then of course, out for the season.
I think if we are talking WCF, they will just say out for the season. ...though they might open it up for him to come back.
lets hope no tears, we will know more in about 12 hours.

So i’m scheduled on 17/4 for my bypass and i’m really looking forward for the day i start seeing that number on the scale going DOWN. Insurance doesn’t cover the cost of these kinds of surgery where i come from, so my parents are paying for it and i will be paying them back for the next year or so. My concern is that my surgeon didn’t say anything about a pre-op diet and i’m wondering if i should do it by myself 2 weeks before surgery?
Also; i’m a smoker and i wonder if i should quit smoking as i’m quitting alcohol before surgery too?

2023.03.22 10:22 SGR1010 There's a movie about a plane crash in which the black box was modified. It needs to be done in english.
The problem with 9/11 was that there was a "flash forward" event on the Black Box (they said "let's roll" which is what every idiotic raving teenagers say when they want to do party drugs (do you want to roll?) . Also the Black Box was modified. That's why the Top Secret report hasn't been released and won't be released until the year 2051, 50 years after 2001. Which is too long of a wait.
There's a french movie called "Boite Noire" in which the analyst listens again and again to the black box, and realizes that it's been modified. As the movie goes on, he realizes the corruption reaches all the way to the top. It makes us wonder, why didn't Dick Cheney order the Air Force within seconds? Why did he lie and said he did even though he didn't? To create the pre-text for the Military Industrial Complex.
The scariest part of the report is what everybody was afraid of: MOSSAD's involvement, MK Ultra, and the reason how they were able to profiteer so much from 9/11 up until the present. That's all it was, in the end, it was all about money. 343 dead firefighters. Prime Factorization? 7x7x7 (jackpot).
It's a wonder how Dick Cheney is still alive after this. I think he deliberately had a heart attack and surgery to have a pacemaker. With a pacemaker, he cannot have a heart attack and thus, not die in his 80s, but stay pass his 90s and 100s years. A Sith Lord.
