I’ve been using Trainer Road for 6 weeks base level sweet spot training. I want to ride a 200miler in June can currently do 100 at a push. Would a customised plan get me there? Was trying to look on the app but would need to delete my current plan first

I recently rewatched Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo and I noticed that some of the characters names sounded familiar. Particularly, Chel, Miguel, and Tulio (which is a reference from The Road to El Dorado). I did some research and many animators, who used to work for DreamWorks, contributed to this film. Did anyone else notice this and if you did, did this movie reference any other DreamWorks films? I'm a huge fan of early DreamWorks films and I was curious as to why so many of their animators worked on this film. Thank you for any comments.

In recent weeks, I was invited to sit in on a series of focus groups conducted over Zoom. Organized by the political consultant Sarah Longwell, the groups consisted of Republican voters who’d supported Donald Trump in both 2016 and 2020. The participants were all over the country—suburban Atlanta, rural Illinois, San Diego—and they varied in their current opinions of Trump. Pence crystalized how far you had and still have to debase one's self to be a satellite orbiting Trump's flaming orange sun that eventually becomes a black hole. If God has a plan for Pence for Pence, that plan might be he burning in hell, sitting on Trump's lap with a studded dog collar around his neck (along with McCarthy and Lapdog Lindsay, Rudy being a chihuahua in a beaded purse). But I'm glad he is considering putting a hat into the ring. Just to see how much more punishment he can take. Not just from Trump. But from everyone else.

I am 19. I suffer from a laundry list of mental illness. You name it, I probably have it. Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, severe depression, suicidal thoughts, the list goes on. I've had these things for a long time, but since the pandemic and since I began college, they've gotten a lot worse. I had to take a year off from school and I have spent months in my room.
I live with my mother. One of the conditions is that I pay rent. So I do. But to her, paying on time isn't enough. She says the conditions of staying in her house were that I'd go to school, work towards adulthood and all that. The last year I haven't been doing that. I've been severely depressed. I don't get out of bed most days. She is a psychologist, and she knows what's going on, so she has given me some grace. I've been thankful for that, but I know I've also gotten defensive when she brings up more stressful things like money. I pay rent on time. I take odd jobs and make money. That part of our deal has stayed intact, so I don't want to talk about it with her. When she brings it up, I shut her down. I already stress myself out about it, I don't need her stressing me out to.
It kind of reached a boiling point, I guess. She says I'm not doing enough, I'm being mean to her unintentionally, and I hate her finacee. (That part is true. I do hate her fiancee.) Anyway, we were talking about a lot of different things, a conversation she didn't give me notice for or give me time to emotionally prepare for, and I guess I kind of just snapped.
I told her I don't trust her, and that I haven't for a while. Most of my life it was just me and my mom, so we were pretty close when I was a kid, but I spent most of my childhood alone. She was a good mom when she was there, but I mostly raised myself. And when I was at my dad's, he beat me. Badly. I didn't tell her until it had been going on for years, but as I get older, I truly find myself wondering if she really didn't know.
My therapist suggested at one point that we spend a night together once a week just to make sure we had time for each other. So we did. For a few months. And then, pretty much without warning, she stopped. She said I talked too much. It was a monologue and not a conversation. I had told her before that she should cut me off if I got annoying, and she never did. But then one night, out of nowhere, she told me I talked too much. So I stopped talking. And then she decided I complained too much about her fiancee while we were out, so she stopped wanting to go out with me at all.
So I told her that was why I didn't talk to her anymore. And I really don't. But I don't really talk to anyone. Like I said, I've spent the last six months almost entirely in my room.
More recently, we were supposed to have one night together that was just for us. We'd bought tickets to a show before the pandemic started, and it was finally coming around again. I was excited to finally spend time with her after I hadn't really done so in months. It was just going to be us and I figured, hey I might not talk very much because it annoys her, but at least we'll have a good night like old times before the pandemic started.
She invited her fiancee.
I was distraught. I had to call my grandmother and ask her to go do something with me for a couple hours because I honestly couldn't handle the fact that my mother couldn't save this one night for us. This one night that had been planned before her and her finacee had even met.
I told her all of that tonight, and she seemed upset. But I also told her she played a role in worsening my depression because she did.
When the pandemic started, I got really really depressed. And since leaving the house wasn't really an option during lockdown, I spent most of my time on the couch. It was a cheap couch. But after a couple months of continuously sitting on it, it started to sag. We had to buy a new one. My mom told me straight to my face that it was my fault that it broke and that it was my fault we were taking the financial hit of having to get a new couch. And maybe it was true, but dude I was 17, severely depressed and in the middle of a global pandemic. I don't know what else you wanted me to do.
From that moment on, I started spending all my time in my room. At first I'd come downstairs for meals, and I'd leave for classes when I was allowed to go back to campus, and occasionally I'd hang out with friends when COVID started slowing down. But then the depression got worse. Spending so much time in my room, I didn't socialize very much. So I let myself get worse. And then I stopped going to classes. Stopped seeing my friends. Stopped coming out to eat. A year ago, I stopped taking my medication, and six months ago, I stopped coming out of my room at all.
I can't blame her for my actions. I can't blame her for the fact that I let myself get worse or that I went of my meds. But I can, and I do, blame her for putting the idea of staying in my room in my head. I was so upset about that damn couch that I wouldn't let myself ruin another one. My room was safer. And that I do blame her for.
She was obviously upset about all of that when I told her. She took responsibility for some of her actions, not all of them. And then she asked me where I saw myself in 5 years.
That's when I had to tell her the hardest part.
I don't know. Truly I do not know. For so long, I was genuinely convinced that I would not make it to adulthood that I now have no idea what to do with my life. The exact conversation was something like
"where do you see yourself in five years?"
"I don't know. I didn't think I'd make it this far. I thought my dad would kill me or I'd kill myself."
I don't think she truly knows how bad it was with my father, which is fair because she never saw it. She cried and told me she was glad I was still here. I said I wasn't because now I don't know what to do. I haven't really seen my mother cry much in my life. She cried when I said that.
She asked me why I hadn't asked her for help. I asked her why I would ask for help when I don't trust her. I asked why I should want to tell her anything when all of this was proof that I can't. She told me that if she says or does something that hurts me, I have to tell her. I will tell you the same thing I told her:
Why do I have to be responsible for you not hurting me?
And she had to sit with it for a second. I love my mother. I really love my mother. I owe her a lot. But I have kept all of this to myself for so long, and I couldn't do it anymore. I could not keep pretending like she'd done nothing wrong just because she is the lesser of two evils between my parents.
I feel bad, but every time she says something about how I'm not trying hard enough, I just want to scream at her, so today I finally laid it all out.
But that's all, I guess. I just needed to get it off my chest, and I didn't want to burden my friends with it.

Many people invest their money in stocks and forget to claim it, or many expire before claiming it. In such cases, the money goes unclaimed for many years. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has therefore established the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) to ensure that unclaimed shares can be transferred and received by the right person.
The shareholders of the Company may receive a refund of their unclaimed shares transferred by the Company to the IEPF in accordance with the provisions of Section 124 of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Investor Education and Protection Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer, and Refund) Rules, 2016. Let us discuss the procedure for the recovery of shares in India.
What does recovery of shares mean?
Even after the Demat system is implemented, the materialization of securities remains an issue for a long time. However, some of the securities mentioned above never made it to digital form and still exist in the traditional format, i.e. physical paper. These securities can easily be compromised by physical damage, loss, or death of the security holder.
Therefore, the process of recovering such securities through the processes of transferring shares, acquiring bonus issues, unclaimed dividends, etc. is referred to as recovering shares.
Submission of unclaimed shares for recovery of shares of IEPF in India
A shareholder whose unclaimed dividends, debentures, shares or debentures, redemption claims, and interest thereon, if any, money from fractional shares, etc., are transferred to IEPF may be transferred shares, etc., to IEPF. The IEPF may claim shares in accordance with the procedure set forth in subsection (6) of Section 124 or make a claim in accordance with clause (a) of subsection (3) of Section 125.
Note: If the claimant is the legal heir, successor, or assignee of a registered shareholder, he/she must ensure that the company completes the transfer process and issues a power of attorney to the legal heirs before filing an IPF application with the authorities.
Transfer of unclaimed shares to the IEPF
The company must transfer shares for which no dividend has been claimed or paid for more than seven years, together with accrued interest, to the IEPF. The Company must provide the details of such transfer to the IEPF. A shareholder may recover his shares transferred by the Company to the IEPF by contacting the IEPF office that manages the details of each account.
Who can apply to the IEPF for the return of shares?
Any shareholder whose unclaimed dividend shares have been transferred to IEPF may request the return of those shares by applying to the IEPF office. However, an applicant may only submit a collective application for one company in one accounting year. The collective application should contain data from different sides of the same company.
If the applicant is the legal heir, legal successor or successor of a registered shareholder, he should first ensure that the company completes the share transfer procedure and issues an approval letter before submitting the IFFF application to the authorities.

Procedure for withdrawing shares from the IEPF
Step 1: Submission of the Application by the Applicant to the Authority
An applicant seeking compensation or recovery of units on its behalf should submit Form IEPF-5 on the MCA Portal. The applicant should provide the following information on the form:

• Data of the applicant (claimant).
• Information about the company from which the amount is owed, including the CIN number
• Details of the shares to be claimed
• Information on the amount of dividend to be claimed
• Aadhaar number if the applicant is an Indian citizen or passport/OCI/PIO card number if the applicant is an NRI or a foreign national.
• Details of the Aadhaar-linked bank account to which the refund is to be made
• Demat account number

Step 2: Submitting a claim to the company
After submission of IEPF Form-5, the applicant should send a copy of the form in an envelope marked "Refund Application from IEPF" along with the following documents to the Nodal OfficeRegistrar of IEPF of the company:

• A copy of the completed IEPF-5 form with the applicant's signature
• A copy of the confirmation with the SRN number
• The original of the surety certificate with the applicant's signature on a non-jurisdictional stamp paper in the amount specified under the Stamp Act
• The original pre-stamped receipt with the signature of the applicant and witnesses
• Original shares (if they are physical shares certificate) or copy of the transaction statement (if they are Demat securities)
• Aadhaar card
• Proof of power of attorney, i.e. share certificate, interest order number, etc.
• Passport, OCI card (Overseas Citizen of India), or PIO card (Person of Indian Origin) in case of NRIs and foreigners
• Canceled check
• Copy of Master List of Demat Account Clients

Step 3: Submission of a company application to the IEPF
The company has to prepare a verification report and submit the same along with the applicant's documents to the IPF authorities within 15 days of receipt of the application form from the applicant.
Step 4: Reimbursement from IEPF to the Applicant
The IFFP authorities must make a decision on the applicant's reimbursement request within 60 days of receiving the verification report from the relevant company confirming the applicant's request.
The IFFP Office shall issue an order for a refund of the penalty as soon as the applicant is entitled to the shares with the approval of the relevant authority. The PSI Office and the Collections and Disbursements Officer will send the invoice to the Payments and Invoices Officer after verifying the claimant's eligibility. The shares or the amount of the claimant's entitlement will be credited to the claimant's Demat account.
Final words
The ability for legitimate shareholders to get their money back through the Investor Education and Protection Fund is, in our opinion, a very positive effort by MCA and SEBI. In addition, it is SEBI's responsibility to educate investors and security holders. It takes a lot of skill and experience to ensure that the recovery of shares process goes well and that legitimate shareholders get their securities back.

Here is a little timeline of my size over the past 9 months. I’ve gone from about 160 pounds into the 260s (at 268 today). My doctor hasn’t found any other underlying conditions and therefore have pinned it on Couvade Syndrome, a temporary disorder a partner can go through while their significant other is pregnant. Due to hormonal imbalances, it creates phantom pregnancy symptoms and amplifies things like weight gain and food cravings. Althought my diet isn’t as good as it should be right now, this extreme weight gain this fast couldn’t be possible due to just food alone. It normally isn’t quite this extreme, and my doctor has never seen anything this severe, but my body has clearly wanted to really mimic my wife’s experience.
It’s also considered partly psychological, and if you are really close to your partner or around each other a lot, a man can easily start to mimic his partner’s cravings, eating habits, even get morning sickness, sympathy pains. I definitely think it’s a combination of physical hormonal changes combined w this mental health aspect that has accelerated this weight gain so quickly. It’s definitely taken a toll on my mental health too - I hardly recognize myself anymore and can barely walk down the street without someone staring. I can barely bend over to tie my shoes. I get out of breath with a single flight of stairs. I cannot find any work shirts that will fit me with a belly this size. My family is constantly asking about my weight. I’ve had people on the street ask me if I’m pregnant. It’s a lot on my mind and spirit. But I’ve stayed very supportive of my wife and haven’t voiced these insecurities or struggles at all.
It’s been a wild 9 months as this has happened and as you can see by the last picture, I’m looking more pregnant than my wife these days. I’ve gotten pretty uncomfortable and am hoping I can reverse this as soon as our son is here. Once my hormones start to go back to normal, my body will start functioning as before again. Has anyone here gone through this? Feeling rather concerned about the road ahead to getting back to normal.

Please can someone tell me why I've Dozens and Dozens of Afib from my smart watch. I've been to hospital because of it and they said they are not Afib (I showed them 2 of them) some seem like that they could be Afib but most look like they are not, I can upload some more. I wouldn't be worried if it was just an accasional Afib reading it could be false positive but to have Dozens and Dozens every day. I also joined qualy who also said they don't look like Afib. I've contacted Samsung and they've not really said anything useful. But if it turns out the readings are all wrong that's really bad. I know the actual ecgs would be accurate but I'm talking about their algorithms interpretation of the ecgs saying Afib all the time. Has anyone else had multiple readings interpretations like this that turned out to be false?

i’m a 15 (almost 16 year old) who lives with my older sister (30) and her fiancé (40) i recently stole some of my sisters vodka and i got drunk
i got drunk by myself, but honestly i never thought i’d drink. i feel so guilty especially because the alcohol is expensive i think
my sister who is my legal guardian said that if i want to drink i should tell her so i can do this safely. she said this after i mentioned two of my friends who got drunk at school
i feel so guilty for stealing alcohol, i hate stealing. i’m so scared about getting in trouble and i feel terrible for going behind their back
what should i do?? they’re going to find out eventually. i feel so scared :(

I have a 11 year old German Shepard which shows signs of her hind legs struggling, and struggles just to walk from one room to another, it doesn’t seem painful but it’s mainly getting up from laying down which is the most struggling, I’m pretty sure she’s got a condition called Degenerative Myelopathy, and there’s not much you can do to help the condition.
This is the current situation:
• she doesn’t experience much of any pain and can breathe normally
• my dog struggles to walk, mainly getting up from rest, and even trips up quite often, but she can still climb stairs without too much issues.
• she eats perfectly normally, she generally isn’t exited to eat but she doesn’t need assistance and eats a good amount, same goes for drinking.
• her fur is ok, but the fur near her hind legs always fall out, we have tried to find out what the cause was but it’s still unknown, but she still grooms herself
• our dog still experiences enjoyment, she’s always exited when we arrive home, or when she gets treats (mainly carrots)
Hopefully this list is extensive enough to tell if I should put the dog down or not, I’m really unsure if I should put her down because probably soon within a few years she will probably not be able to move much anymore and wondering if doing it now is a good choice, any recommendations would be great!

I suffer with OCD and take meds for it. If I did the following as part of an intentional therapeutic situation could this then be considered an an example of self practicing exposure response prevention therapy on myself?
So if I walked out of my house locking the door and walked down the road to my car only to feel the irrational compulsion and urge to go back and check it but after being "exposed" to this response I did not give in and continued to get into my car and drive away despite the urges.

Hi All, I'm set on buying a G14 2022 for my wife that will last her a couple of years. She will mainly use it for browsing and playing Forum RPG-s (so a lot of typing). BUT she also plays games sometimes, she want's to try Hogwarts Legacy, and she will surely play with Diablo IV, new Sims games, etc. This is the reason, why I couldn't choose for instance a Zenbook for her. As she almost exculively uses it on her lap on the couch, a 14" laptop seems an ideal choice, because her current 2,4 kg 15,4" Lenovo Legion is too heavy. My only alternative would have been a 14" Vivobook Pro with an RTX 3050, but it's sold out everywhere (I know it's not a gaming laptop, but she would only play max 1,5hours in one session). The Zephyrus G14 2022 variant with RX 6700S seems an ideal choice for her. That's for background info, my question is actually, how much of a difference does the QHD+ make over the FHD+ in daily use? Also, I can only find used ones where I live with FHD+ and RX 6800S cards. Can you also recommend this one? Thank you in advance!
