I’m just gonna start with a TW because my story is very graphic, and i have to break up my story because of how long it is so the other half will be in the comments. So to begin, I have a 18mo son who is the happiest and smartest little boy I’ve ever met, and I love him more than I can even comprehend. Lately I’ve been struggling with the fact that whenever I’m taking care of my son and he’s having a blast, or just being a sweet little baby, I’ll get triggered by my childhood trauma and start thinking about horrible things happening to me or him or other precious babies/children. My mother and I never had a strong relationship because she was always at work and was too focused on finding love or a man that will put up her to make me a top priority. Because of this, she left me in the care of horrible men while she went off to work. My father is an alcoholic and my mom kicked him out when I was 2, and because he never paid child support he had no custody claims. My mom met my step dad, Marty, when I was 8 and married him 6 months later.Up until I was 12, Marty was like the “perfect dad”. He helped me with my schoolwork, actually took me out to places like the park and arcades, and he would always tell me bedtime stories. It was like I finally got the childhood I never had and everything was amazing, until I started middle school and had my first period. I was just a few months into 6th grade when it happened. I know I told Marty first about it and he helped me get the products I needed. Unfortunately this part of my life is quite a blur now so it’s hard to remember when and how it started, but Marty started taking advantage of me and my innocence. What I mean by that is he knew my mother was quite neglectful and didn’t teach me much, including what a “no-no square” is and what to do in a situation when someone touches you. I didn’t know literally anything about sex, I’m pretty sure I learned about it watching bad TV when I was young, and he knew this. When he started molesting me, he made me think this was a normal thing and not to fight back. He was never violent about it, he always tried to make sure I “got something out of it” so I wouldn’t fight back. Unfortunately that worked and I let him abuse me until I was 15 when I finally got the courage to tell my best friend and she took me to the police. During those 4 years, he would take things away from me like my Nintendo GameCube or other toys and if I wanted them back, I had to “make a deal”. When it first started, it was just touching, but after a year of that it turned into 3rd degree abuse.

Ryadar is a land under a shadow so long it's people scarce remember it. A poem, a children's song, known as the Sverthasenna, has been popular in all of Ryadar for generations. Few people give it any mind, a set of words children chant as they play, a nursery rhyme mothers sing to their babies, lines on old parchment. But behind the rhyme is truth, a prophecy long-written. Unfortunately, the Rulers and Nations of Ryadar have no time for prophecy. Bryndale is caught in a prolonged war of succession, Ironcast faces relentless rebellions from the native Kol-Born folk of Anvinter Island, Bailiwick strengthens it's borders as Kenneschtein sharpens it's blades, eyeing eachother across a mutual border as thin as the line on a map. Belkema hunts a seemingly endless stream of pirates from the Brigand Isles, and Eld Anor, as always, simply acts as though it is above it all. None of the powers of Ryadar see the signs, but somebody must.

- Seneca wishes to share knowledge, and sees it as the end of gaining higher health to share his insights of how to overcome what he has with others.
- Seneca shares this knowledge by sending books, and goes on to say that how we live is the best teacher for others, and the lives of others are the best teachers for us. We are to be teachers to one another through our lives that benefit one another.

My son was born via c-section three months ago today. I thought the surgery itself was cake. However, I reacted to the spinal tap with horrible shaking. I was shaking so bad that I couldn’t speak through my chattering mouth and they couldn’t get a blood pressure reading on me without holding my arm down. That was the worst part for me.
My husband and I have been discussing the best time to have another child. I would LOVE to but the shaking seriously sucked and it makes me nervous to think about going through that again. I hate to sound dramatic, but that part caused me to have a few meltdowns in the hospital during recovery. I was devastated that I couldn’t hold my baby, talk to him, or even have him lay on my chest because of how bad I was shaking. My question is for other c-sections mom who experienced this or maybe anybody in the medical field who may know… If my body reacted that way to the spinal last time, is it going to happen again? Or can I have a different reaction the second time?

We had a long chat in which I figured out that I wouldn’t be able to repair our friendship without breaking up with herself - which is really shit, because I really love her. We’re two weeks on, and the lads are back in normal spirits. One has even been remarking that I ‘seem so much more myself’ and ‘definitely made the right decision’ but really all I’ve noticed is how their regard towards me changed, and that I feel less stressed now that they’ve been normal again.
I’m really angry about all of this, do I get into it with the lads? Or should I drop it?

No, he’s not dead. I just need to get this off my chest. I 18F have a brother 24M who is currently in jail. The brother who lived in my family home over the last couple years isn’t the brother I grew up with. He recently was arrested for stalking and harrassing a girl, and then going to her college with a knife. Like I said, this is not the brother I grew up with. My brother, I’ll call him B for anonymity, has been very mentally ill for a long time now, he has autism and was diagnosed with bpd after jumping off an aquaduct to end his life and surviving it. He’s always had his quirks but it’s just who he is and we all loved him for it no matter what. He got bad in 2019 after he started drinking excessively and that hasn’t changed to now. Now he’s just bitter and horrible and is honestly a scary person. At the start of this month he was arrested and police were coming every day to search his room and ask us for statements. They found some things that they didn’t tell us about at the time, but he had a diary and he had written how he wanted to unalive us all, but that’s not what I wanted to get off my chest. For the past couple days my parents have been cleaning out his room as he is not allowed here anymore. Today I offered to help because my mum is wanting to turn it into an office, which is something she’s been thinking about for awhile but was waiting for B to move out. I went in there and just looked around what used to be my big brothers room and I couldn’t help but to cry. He kept a drawing I made for him when I was younger up on his wardrobe door and so many memories ran through my head. I looked around and it was so overwhelming. I miss the brother I grew up with. Not the person he is now. I ran out crying, it feels like I’m mourning him but he’s still alive. I’m a mess and I feel so conflicted.

Hi everyone! I'm about to get a new keyboard, there are 2 keyboard options for me at the moment. iirc, one of them is programmable which is Ducky One 3 and the other one isnt programmable, Monokei Standard. I would assume not programmable is not being able to use VIA/QMK on it.
I'm getting a new keyboard because my old keyboard is quite loud, and i cant use RNNoise supression because it will mute my voice when i laugh / scream in high pitched. I would love to have a soundboard later for my stream, probably something like what Voicemod offers, and I'm not sure having a soundboard needs a VIA/QMK or not since both keyboard will be in TKL size. I've seen what VIA can offer on Yt videos, but i want to know what kind of helpful things you can do with it when you stream?
TLDR: Is it better if you have a keyboard that is VIA/QMK compatible? If you are using VIA/QMK, what do you use it for when streaming?

I was playing predecessor religiously until the carry patch dropped. I mained Feng mao and loved playing him solo lane as well as jungle and had pretty much all my items figured out for every matchup. After carry patch it seemed like they nuked his whole play style/items. I hope this is just me being buthurt about the changes and he’s still very strong.
My main question is what are you guys building on feng mao with these newer items? I wanna jump back in but I still don’t have a solid grasp on them. Casca always loved Griffith, the day Guts and Casca slept together she had just had a suicide attempt so she was fucked in the head. While fucking, Guts grabbed her throat in a way she didn't like and started crying about being molested as a kid (big red flag..) even after they got Griffith back from Midland and he was next to death (right before Griffith rode to the eclipse) Casca literally told Guts to leave and that she wanted to stay with Griffith, then doubled down when Guts said he'd stay anyway. She said Guts can't stay if he wanted to be his own man. Sounds like she chose Griffith.
After the eclipse Guts takes care of her, which would've probably been appreciated except for the whole "sorry I assaulted you and almost bit your tit off.. I was battling my inner dog demon.." They did make it clear that she will remember that. Not a lot of women going to still like someone after they assault her. But now both of her love options assaulted her.. One is Guts, who she already said no to, and the other is now a literal God for whom she would've done anything over the past 10+ years.
She told Guts no several times and obviously loved Griffith. She even said it while Griffith had nothing left to give.. now that he has everything to give, why should we think her mind is going to be changed?
In the Dreamcast game Casca regains her mind for a brief second, Guts says 'Casca! My love!' and Casca says 'Guts, My dear'. No love, even before Guts assaults her in the field.
There really isn't anything in the story that would give Guts more than a 50% chance of Casca choosing him. Technically while her brain is addled he's doing the classic 'nice guy' tactic, hoping it will lead him to a relationship in the future.
