What's the best book you've read recently?

So at first I read English romance just want to practice my English but now I am totally obsessed with them! My first book is The Love hypothesis which is very popular in my country too and after that I read like 150 English romances in a year.
So there are funny things that happened when I read English romances:
1⃣️So the first time I read explicit sex scenes in romance books, I was like holy crap can that even allowed to be published??? Coz in my country romance writers do not write very explicit sex scenes in books, instead they use flowery ways to describe things…So that is one of the reasons I love reading English romance coz you know the sex scenes are hot 🥵
2⃣️I am a totally romance books crazier so I went to everywhere taking my kindle so that I can read romance. So once I went to a family dinner and was reading some erotic romance, my grandma who doesn’t know any English was like: oh baby my hardworking girl, learning English all the time..I looked at my kindle where mmc and fmc were having kinky dirty sex , and smiled to my grandma like this emoji 😅
3⃣️Culture difference: maybe bc I’m from Asia so the culture difference is bigger than ppl in Europe or Britain or USA..there are some new kinds of romance that we don’t have in my country, say, We don’t have motorcycle clubs so when I first read this type of romance it’s so new to me and I am totally hooked on that!

Is reading 52 books a year a realistic goal for a full-time job adult?

For a full-time job adult, finding time to read can often be challenging. However, reading can be a great way to relax, learn new things, and improve one's overall well-being. With this in mind, many people set goals for the number of books they would like to read in a year. One such goal is reading 52 books a year, which is equivalent to reading one book per week. But is this goal realistic for a full-time job adult? Can one realistically balance the demands of a full-time job with the time and energy required to read 52 books in a year?

Maybe an autistic thing, but I consider myself very child-like. Not intellectually, I'm quite well-read and enjoy reading about history and philosophy. It's more of an emotional thing. You see, the best way to describe myself is for you to imagine me as the real life (tho often quite depressed) version of SpongeBob. When in a good mood, I'm very optimistic and enjoy seeing the bright side of everything. I am the kind of person who enjoys watching TV from my childhood like Pippi Langstrump, Moomins, Mickey Mouse and such. I swear I'm no creep and, actually, prefer keeping conversations SFW. I'm asexual and feel very uncomfortable with that sort of thing. I'd like to meet someone like me - hopefully they exist... Maybe you like playing Lego, Winnie the Pooh or bird watching, or even colouring books. I'm very sensitive and kind-hearted and, I hope, so are you. Would be cool if you're around my age. But please, write an introductory message about yourself if you decide to message me. I don't work because of my autism, but I still keep myself busy learning languages, reading books or cooking, doing house chores. But if I like you, I promise I'll always reply eventually.

I apologise for the length, there's a lot of detail - TLDR at the end.
I recently travelled to York for a 1 week stay in a self catering apartment, to celebrate a milestone birthday. I took my dad who's in his mid 70's, and has recently had a kidney removed, which has put him on the 'extremely vulnerable' list. He's eligible for additional treatment if he contracts Covid.

We paid £1078 for the week, which included a £30 booking fee, and a £10 'damage waiver'.

The property was marketed as "we pride ourselves on high quality, not just with our properties but with our entire service. COMPANY handpicks only the best properties and all our accommodation is furnished to the highest standards as you would expect in a leading top hotel."
"We continue to take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across all our properties."

Few minor issues that we noticed when we arrived - cups/plates were dirty. We ran a set through the dishwasher. Washing machine was filthy, dirty drum, and very mouldy detergent drawer - I put the drawer in the sink to soak while we went out for dinner.

Now the BIG issue - when we returned from dinner and started unpacking and getting ready for bed, I noticed a strong smell of damp in my room, and bathroom. I looked around for the source, and opened some wooden shutters that were concealing the windows.

MASSIVE quantitites of black mould on all the windows. It wasn't a few days/weeks worth, this was months and months of mould growth. It was in my room, the en-suite bathroom, my dads room, kitchen and living room.

We felt incredibly uncomfortable staying there for a night, let alone a week, given the health risks, particularly to my dad!

First thing Saturday morning I went to the office of the rental company, conveniently, just across the road, a 30 second walk from the flat! (Who knows what the rest of their properties are like if one across the road is this bad!) The staff were shocked, very apologetic, and said they'd sort something out.

An hour later they called, offering to clean the mould - I said that I know black mould is not something that can be cleaned quickly or easily. They agreed (why did they even suggest it?!) and offered alternative properties. These alternatives weren't suitable AT ALL. The one we chose was in a very central location to make it easy for my dad to get around. We suggested a property that was almost next door, but more expensive. They said we'd have to pay the difference, and wouldn't offer ANY discount for the inconvenience - mean, given the circumstances, but OK.

The back and forth discussing this took several hours, depriving us of most of the day. Eventually with them unwilling to budge at all, I attempted to compromise - we'd accept the 'most suitable', of the unsuitable properties, but we wanted:

The difference that we paid, back (new property was cheaper),
A 10% discount on the new property rate (seemed fair to me, given the issue, massive inconvenience we were going through, and for effectively losing a day of our holiday
A refund for the night we spent in the mould infested flat, given the condition and risk to health

I understand I was perhaps pushing my luck, but they were completely unwilling to move even an inch beyond request 1.
I refused to give them any more money and said I'd like a refund, for the remaining nights (all they were offering), and that I'd rather drive 250 miles home than see them "win".

We left, and found a hotel, not wanting to waste the week.

TLDR - My question:
We paid - £1078 (inc £30 booking fee and £10 damage waiver)
Refunded - £890.31
Outstanding - £187.69

Should we be/are we entitled to have the remaining (or any of) £187.69 refunded? And if so, how do we go about doing it?

The property was booked in my dads name. We both took out a 1 week travel insurance policy.

I like watching movies and shows too, mainly sci fi ones but action/drama or older horrors are cool too. Some things that i watched: Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Clone Wars, Apocalypse Now, American Psycho, The Thing, Predator, Alien and many others. Also im a big Star Wars fan :P. I like to read books from time to time too although not that much. When it comes to music i like electronic, rock and pop but i'm fine with anything honestly.
