| I recently put my previous PV/ST megahood on pause as I rejigged my mods and messed things up a bit, so I felt like I needed to start over from scratch. The new version is now twenty years in so I thought I'd share the progress! - The Goth family
https://preview.redd.it/c998f5spd9pa1.jpg?width=1843&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=05a7dad72e709d066da0b72631a4d6a97f814b12 Dina and Mortimer got married and Dina moved into the Goth house. She helped raise Alexander and eventually she and Morty had a baby of their own, Fridrik. After Mortimer passed, Dina IMMEDIATELY started flirting with Alexander, who had just returned from uni. He reciprocated and their chemistry was insane, so now she's in a weird semi-incestuous live-in relationship with her former stepson. Will they marry and secure Dina's future? - The Curious family (1)
https://preview.redd.it/whezkhurd9pa1.jpg?width=1846&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e5bde06cf3307583a38cd966d0bb6f1e73df933 Cassandra was left at the altar by Don (after he got her pregnant). She fell into severe depression for a few years despite having son Fabrizio to dote on, but eventually she met Vidcund Curious through her coworker Pascal. They fell madly in love, got married and moved in together with their children. Fabrizio and Vidcund's son Icarus (by abduction) soon became best friends (they're currently at college together) and Cass and Vidcund had two children together - Gretchen and later, after much persuasion on Cassie's part, Madeleine. Can life get any better for this blended family? - The Lothario/Caliente family
Feat. my weird open-plan remodel of the Caliente condo! When Dina moved out, Nina was left in charge of the condo. After she got pregnant accidentally, she and Don agreed to live together there and raise the baby while still maintaining relationships with other people. Hasina was their first baby and after a few years Nicolo came along too. They're perfectly happy in their open relationship and it looks like Hasina is taking after them too - she's a Pleasure Sim. Will she be a heartbreaker like her parents? - The Broke/Burb family

They began an affair, of which little Ian was the product, and when Jennifer caught them in the act, John divorced her and married Brandi. They moved to a larger house where they now live with Beau (who recently returned from college and can't afford his own place yet), Bobbie (unborn baby Broke) and Ian. Beau was in love with Tycho Curious in high school, but they drifted apart when he went to uni - will they reunite now that Tycho is in college himself? - The Broke family

He was still with Angela, but he started flirting with Kristen and the rest is history. They fell deeply in love despite their small age gap and, as soon as Dustin graduated, he moved into a small apartment with Kristen (that was all they could afford) and got married. They now have a daughter, Madison, who has to share a room with them as their apartment is only 1 bedroom. Will they ever be able to afford to move now that Dustin is rising through the ranks of his Architectural career and Kristen is doing well at her Athletic one? - The Dreamer family
Another remodel - of the Dreamer house this time! Darren married divorcée Mary-Sue Oldie and, scandalously, Cassandra autonomously kissed him on their wedding day. He stayed faithful, keeping away from Cassandra any time she visited, and eventually Cass moved on with Vidcund while he and Mary-Sue had baby Delilah. A few years later, on Mary-Sue's 60th birthday, Cassandra (who was feeling particularly broody but her own husband didn't want any more kids) kissed Darren again, this time in eyesight of her former best friend. Mary-Sue wasn't going to stand for a second cheater in her life, so she didn't listen to any of Darren's excuses and divorced him. Meanwhile, eldest son Dirk split up with Lilith when she became his stepsister, and later fell in love with Lucy Burb. They now have a baby together, Finley, and have no intention of following in their cheating parents' footsteps! - The Grunt/Oldie family
https://preview.redd.it/txeh8re5e9pa1.jpg?width=1828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4152a6a776f7512a8cd98147dfa6a4a62fb800fb After Mary-Sue married Darren, Angela inherited the family home. Soon enough, her deadbeat dad Daniel and his new wife Kaylynn came a-knocking looking for a better place to stay now that Kaylynn was expecting. Angela generously let them move in. She also moved in her fiancé Tank and they had twins George and Harriet. After a few years, there wasn't really room for two growing families and, with Kaylynn pregnant again, Angela gave them some money to find a place of their own. Then, just as she and her family had the place to themselves again, Mary-Sue arrived with daughter Delilah in tow having just divorced Darren. Now they live together in semi-harmony but still have to pay the rent and bills on dad Daniel's trailer. Will they ever dig themselves out of this hole? - The Pleasant family

They live in the trailer rented and paid for by Daniel's daughter Angela and leech off her whenever they can using guilt that she didn't let them stay in the family home. Oscar isn't doing too well in school, preferring to romance every boy and girl in sight rather than study. Will he be another deadbeat like his dad or make something of himself? - The Curisant family

She met Lola Curious when her firm hired Lola's law firm to handle their cases. The two discovered a mutual love of business and hard work, and soon a love for each other. They married and combined their names and soon, to their surprise, Lola found herself pregnant with Jennifer's baby - little Otis. Now, with Grace (their live-in childminder) about to go off to university and both of them at the top of their careers, will they start focusing on raising Otis? - The Pleasant/Smith family

Soon enough, they realised they had a mutual attraction, fell in love and decided to move in together. They now have a son, Vaughn, who is best friends with his cousins George and Harriet, which has started to rekindle Lilith's relationship with her sister. Johnny and Lilith have been living together for several years without any interest in marriage - will they ever decide to take that final step? - The Curious (2) family

He hopes that will be enough to stop them realising who he is. After he met and bonded with Pascal's son Tycho, he decided to adopt him as his own. Then, a few years later, both Pascal and Neville wanted another baby so, when Pascal's sister Chloe had a baby, they adopted little Emilia as well. But when brother Lazlo wanted to find a place for his family to live, he and Chloe agreed to a 'house-swap' of sorts, so now Chloe is living with Pascal, Neville and Emilia. They drifted apart and she met Ajay one day at the bowling alley. They had instant chemistry and Ophelia decided to break up once and for all with Johnny so that she could be with Ajay. Now they live in her aunt's old house with their two children Ronald and Keira. They were despondent, but one day they noticed a dazed and confused Bella Goth wandering around the crashed spaceship near their house. They took her in, fed her, bathed her, and soon realised that she was pregnant with an alien baby and would make the perfect next subject for their tests. After giving birth, Bella unfortunately passed away, so they adopted her baby Ceres to avoid any suspicion. Now Ceres lives in the basement room, despite her older brother Atom's wishes. To combat her loneliness, she asked her daughter Jill to move back in and, soon enough, Jill got engaged to her boyfriend Ripp. They married, despite Ripp's commitment issues, and had a child of their own - little Ethan. Jenny loves having a large family around her again - will she give up her nursing career to focus on her family and her side hustle sewing quilts? - The Grunt family

Together they had a daughter, Storm, who Buzz loved taking under his wing once his eldest two had moved out. Buck, on the other hand, never moved out. He was engaged to Chloe Curious for a time, but she left him at the altar and, broken-hearted, he decided to stay at home until he found someone else to be with. That time still hasn't come and he's now in his early 30s. Buzz and Erin are getting a bit fed up of him lurking around - will he ever find someone or just take the initiative and move out? - The Curious (3) family

It's still not quite big enough for a family of five, but it's better than being squished in with brother Pascal's family. Will Lazlo, Crystal, Harmony, Infinity and Prince all continue living happily in their small house or will they need to find somewhere bigger and give Chloe her place back? - The College Sims

Tycho and Icarus are cousins, and Fabrizio and Icarus are step-brothers, so they all get along pretty well. Icarus is a Pleasure Sim whose LTW is to go on as many first dates as possible so he's been exploring that in college, but might just have found the love of his life in cheerleader Sylvie while doing so. Meanwhile, Tycho just wanted to graduate his Maths degree with a 4.0 and make his dads proud, which he did, and Fabrizio didn't mind what he got as long as he could spent time with his sweetheart Bobbie Broke (they're now engaged). It was pretty much a party house for Fabrizio and Icarus, but they all managed to graduate somehow! submitted by MarmitePrinter to sims2 [link] [comments] |
2023.03.22 10:23 Scott_Kenney My personal turkey hunting experience
Hey, if you're planning to go turkey hunting, you should know that these birds are no joke. They're smart, unpredictable, and they won't hesitate to give you the slip if they sense danger. But don't worry, we've got you covered.
When it comes to turkey hunting, you need to pay attention to the weather. Turkeys are sensitive to their environment, and the weather can play a big role in their behavior. Here's what you need to know:
Let's start with fog. Most turkeys won't leave their roost if they can't see the ground. This is because they rely heavily on their vision to detect predators and navigate their surroundings. If you're dealing with early morning fog, just be patient. Eventually, the fog will lift, and the turkeys will come out hungry, looking for food.
Next up, heat. Depending on where you live, it may get hot during the end of the spring season or beginning of the fall season. In this case, turkeys will cluster under dense shade, usually near water. This is because they need to stay hydrated and cool to avoid overheating. If you hear turkeys nearby, post up in a good blind and be patient. They'll come to get a drink eventually, giving you a good shot.
Now, let's talk about cold weather. When it's cold out, turkeys seek out high-calorie food to maintain their body heat. If it's unseasonably cold, look near the edges of farms and pastures. They'll often flock there to eat grain or soy. They even love to eat corn out of cow pies! So, if you're hunting in cold weather, focus on areas where turkeys are likely to find food and shelter.
Moving on to windy weather. Turkeys don't like wind or the noise of branches rustling. On windy days, they'll seek out areas with tall trees and little undergrowth to minimize noise. They'll also hang out near power lines and in deep, windless hollows. If you're hunting on a windy day, try to find areas that provide shelter from the wind, and where turkeys are likely to be seeking refuge.
What about rainy weather? Like us, turkeys like to stay dry in the rain. If it's raining hard, they'll avoid leaving dense undergrowth unless they're very hungry. In light rain, they'll seek out areas with overhanging canopies, like the edges of clearings. So, if you're hunting in the rain, focus on areas where turkeys are likely to be seeking shelter from the rain.
Finally, clear and calm weather is the best weather for hunting gobblers. Turkeys roam freely through the woods, eating as much as they can manage. If you're hunting on a clear and calm day, focus on areas where turkeys are likely to be foraging, such as fields, pastures, and open woods.
Just remember, mother nature is unpredictable. So, don't wait for a perfect day to go turkey hunting because you might not get a chance all season. Turkeys can be found in any weather as long as you know where to look.

2023.03.22 09:46 iloveclouds69 Hit and run, Totaled car, predatory tow and storage fee, lien
Help! My car was totaled in a hit and run when it was parked on my street. I do not have collision on my insurance (connect) and as soon as I opened the claim my rep was quick to close it saying the other insurance should be handling all costs. After talking to the police they told me that it’s more than likely that this person does not have insurance so I need to reach out to my insurance to inform them of this situation.
Meanwhile my car which was totaled was parked on my street for about a week before I finally called triple A to come tow my car. This is where it gets worst. Their representative came and upon telling them where I wanted my car to be towed he told me that that would not be possible due to the size of the tow vehicle n the alley/spot I wanted to drop it off at my mom’s apt. I asked him what my options were and he said he could tow it to their 3rd party lot (Carmel towing) and that my insurance should be able to cover it. He even called his boss to make sure for me since I was unsure due to my lack of collision coverage. They told me since I have uninsured property damage coverage, that it would be fine. That they will connect with my insurance. They towed my car n I honestly forgot about it until I received an invoice from them yesterday with the storage and tow fees I owe. They charged me 700 for the tow when I was under the impression that it was through triple A. When I asked them this they said that becuz I agreed to have insurance store my car triple A is no longer involved. Which is ridiculous becuz they never informed me of this handover fee because I never would of agreed. ESP before talking to my insurance. They also charge $175 daily storage so my bill is currently around 2000$ which is more than what my totaled car is worth. So at this point it’s not worth it for me to pick it up?? When I tried calling them to gain clarity they were extremely rude and unprofessional. Multiple reviews of their business showed similar experiences from other costumers. Saying they are scammers, esp with their excessive rates. They currently have a lien on my car and I’m just trying to figure out what my best solution is. Is it possible for me to avoid picking up my vehicle n having them sell it at the lien auction. Can they still bill me after I no longer own my car? Will they still come after me for the difference of what I “owe” them even though it seems like these are fraudulent tow predators. I really don’t know what to do and this is my first time dealing with something like this and it’s been extremely frustrating and depressing how this one incident that just occurred to me is now costing me so much money:( Any advice would help! I appreciate anyone for just reading and sending good vibes

2023.03.22 09:34 iloveclouds69 Hit and run incident
Apologizes for the long read but it’s a very complicated situation and I appreciate any advice I can get.
My car, which was parked on my neighborhood street, was totaled by a hit and run. Upon finding my car, I learned that the woman who hit me had caused two other accidents prior on the street nearby and then after hitting my vehicle abandoned her car down the street and ran away on foot. I was able to get the license plate and footage of the car as well as video of the incident. The police gathered my information but told me that the report will take some time since they are combining all the other incidents from this woman all together in this report. This happened on the 5th of March and as of today I am still waiting on the report and have not received any information on the woman or if they have found her. The car is registered to a man but was not reported stolen so I’m confused on the slow investigation. Regardless this is all just background on my ever evolving back luck 🤕

2023.03.22 08:58 Scrambledme Skiing in Yuzawa - trip report
I just returned from 16 days in Japan and spent a couple of days skiing in Yuzawa, from Tokyo. I will do a full write up of the rest of the trip too but thought I would focus on skiing in Yuzawa (Niigata) first, as I couldn’t find a whole lot about doing it on a budget while I was researching.
We wanted to do a couple of days of skiing as part of a longer trip without blowing our whole budget on it, and we didn’t want to fly up to Hokkaido just for a couple of days - so we checked out Yuzawa and were pleasantly surprised by the good value and fantastic views. We went in the first week of March, and snow was plentiful (and all the resorts were open). It may not be the world class snow of Hokkaido, but as someone who hasn’t skiied for many years and is not much of a snow connoisseur, it seemed excellent to me, as well as being very accessible for tourists, and navigable for non-Japanese speakers.
We brought zero skiing equipment with us (not even a coat) and were able to hire everything very quickly and easily. I have skied before but my partner had not, so we also splashed out on a private 2-hour skiing lesson. The lesson was in English and was extremely good value - highly recommended if you are new to skiing or returning to it after a break.
Costs
2 nights in traditional Japanese guest house, total: 22,500 JPY (170.50 USD) 2 days equipment hire (including winter clothes), total: 16,000 JPY (121.60 USD) 2 days lift passes (Ishiuchi & Yuzawa Kogen), 4 passes in total: around 15,000 JPY (114.00 USD)
2-hour private ski lesson: 16,000 JPY (121.60 USD) 2 return train tickets to Tokyo: 28,000 JPY (212.80 USD) (not needed if you have JR pass)
This brings the cost per person to around 26,750 JPY (203.30 USD), closer to 50,000 JPY (380.00 USD) if paying for train tickets and private ski lesson.
It is also easily be doable as a day trip from Tokyo. I think you could do it including gear rental for around $100 if you wanted to. If you move quickly, you can be on the slopes within about 2 hours of your train departing Tokyo.
Day 1: Tokyo to the slopes!
Caught the Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo station, directly to Echigo Yuzawa. Departed around 8.15am, taking 1 hour 20 minutes. The landscape is not mountainous right until this last few minutes - it takes you by surprise!
There is a 7-11 in the station, so we bought a lot of breakfast and lunch supplies here.
Walked to accommodation I had booked in Yuzawa, which was a
basic Japanese-style guest house. It was much cheaper than ryokans seem to be, and it provided a tatami mat, futon, and yukata experience. Otherwise it was quite basic, with shared facilities and an onsen. They were happy to look after our baggage until check in time.
The accommodation had a rental shop within the building. There are lots of rental shops all over the town with broadly similar prices. Advanced booking doesn’t seem to be required (at least on a weekday). We had all our gear sorted within 20 minutes. All the staff were very helpful and worked with us to overcome the language barrier!
Our accommodation offered to drop us off at our chosen resort - we went for Ishiuchi Maruyama, as we had heard good things about it. More info on resorts below.
From what we could tell, most accommodation seemed to provide transport to any resort in the Yuzawa region, and there were also regular shuttle buses going between several of the main resorts including GALA Yuzawa, Yuzawa Kogen (which is directly accessible from Yuzawa town), and Ishiuchi (and probably others).
We emailed a few days in advance to book a private lesson in English with
Snow Country Instructors, who work across several resorts in the region and would meet us wherever we wanted.
After our lesson we ate lunch and had a beer at one of Ishiuchi’s many slopeside restaurants, which was very cheap and filling, and then spending the rest of the afternoon exploring the resort.
We telephoned our accommodation when we were ready to leave and they picked us up from the car park. Lots of vans of skiiers were driving away at the end of the day and we could have jumped in with others if we had needed to. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
We ate dinner in Yuzawa town. Restaurants seemed to be quite booked up, despite it being a weekday, so I’d advise advance booking for food if you’re in a group, or if you are picky. There are a few grocery stores and takeaways too.
Day 2 - Skiing Yuzawa Kogen
We elected for Yuzawa Kogen on our second day because it was right across the road from our accommodation, and we wanted a small resort so we could stick to beginner slopes and practice away from the crowds.
We used the onsen in our accommodation, and went to a Thai restaurant in Yuzawa.
Day 3: Depart
Shinkansen back to Tokyo and then on to Kyoto in time for lunch. We could have done a morning of skiing but elected to head off.
Resorts
While we didn’t go to GALA Yuzawa, it’s the most popular resort with tourists in the region, with a Shinkansen station at the resort itself. We decided to go to other resorts ourselves, but if convenience is your priority then GALA might be a good choice.
I would highly recommend Ishiuchi Maruyama for confident beginners and intermediates, and also for snowboarders (the snow park looked great). It has excellent views and great choice of cheap restaurants, and a distinctly Japanese feel. A big meal for two and beers with a view over the valley came to around 3000 JPY. Mmmmmm!
Yuzawa Kogen was a very small resort, and had fewer facilities than Ishiuchi, however the view from the long beginner’s “panorama” course was one of the best I’ve ever seen skiing, and the slopes were incredibly quiet and peaceful. With our lift ticket (a bargain at 3300 Y) we could get the gondola back to Yuzawa town for lunch, with a wide choice of restaurants, and return to the slopes for the afternoon.
For beginners or out-of-practice skiiers looking for a budget alternative to a GALA Yuzawa day trip from Tokyo, I would recommend Yuzawa Kogen. It is about a 10-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa station, there are loads of cheap rental shops at the base of the resort itself, the lift ticket is cheap, and the beginner slopes are very accessible.
We didn’t buy it, but you can also get a “three mountains pass” which is a lift ticket to all three of Ishiuchi Maruyama, Yuzawa Kogen, and GALA Yuzawa. You could also upgrade a lift ticket from any one of those resorts into a three mountain pass just by paying a few extra yen at any of the ticket counters. So we had the option open but didn’t use it in the end.
PowderHounds has useful info about the various resorts, opening dates, snow quality, etc.
Overall I would highly recommend the Yuzawa area for a day trip or short break from Tokyo. We chatted to many other travellers during our trip and many were very surprised to find out that skiing is so easily accessible (and a few subsequently added it to their itinerary.)
Final note - make sure your travel insurance covers winter sports activities. Happy skiing!

2023.03.22 08:44 carmensol1 Jelly Purses Every Woman Should Own

2023.03.22 08:11 No_Knowledge_3488 i wish i was born in another life
i think i’m reaching my limit.
my mother doesn’t love me unconditionally like she loves my father, practically worships the men in her life because she’s so fucking stupid to stand up on her two little feet for once. she’ll end up killing herself for him and i will just have to watch it happen, hating myself for loving her unconditionally despite how much she hates me. hates my body, hates my personality, hates my happiness and hates my depression. hates all of me, in ways that i never thought a parent could hate their child. a men-over-pride kind of woman, the kind that will have nothing to show for except an old wedding band and belly scars. i hate my father. i hate that he’s the pinnacle of man, that he believes himself to be above god’s words and yet he’s reaping what he sowed. i hate my parents for beating me as a child because they didn’t know any better as immigrants, i hate my parents for not being better parents, i hate my parents for the fact that they will choose each other and any of my other siblings over me. i hate that i will never be their first choice and somehow i’m supposed to be fine with it. i hate my life. i don’t perform well academically because of some adhd, but yet i still want to be a teacher. i wanted to publish a book at one point.
yet i’m hopeless. i hate my life. i want to die because i’m unloved by the people who should’ve loved me more than anything in the world and yet they hate me. my father’s perverted and conservative views hate me, hate me for being a daughter instead of a son, hates me because i refuse to bear a child when my own parents couldn’t even love their own. i hate being an american child, seeing the drastic difference between parents and seeing just how much family love is so genuine and yet there is no warm in my home. there is no love. i’m a college drop-out, struggling to find a job, struggling to learn out to drive, struggling to find a way to live and maybe i’m just a spoiled brat. i know my parents feed me, keep my head out of the rain, will keep the house warm when it is cold. but love is not a requirement and they will never show me that. why cant i have one thing?
i wish i was born in a different life. where my mom didn’t insist that starving me was right, where she could think with a mind pure of her husband’s influence and pure devotion to men, where she could love me with eyes that didn’t despise me. i wish i had a dad that loved me, that stayed for me even if he had to work. that didn’t now try and form a relationship now that he’s old and dying, that he could put down his views once and fucking see me. i wish i was a better older sister, who could shield my sister from anything and be the best role model in the world. yet i’m fucking miserable. i’m depressed and i’m clutching this bottle of tylenol, crying through grit teeth because i don’t want to live anymore. i don’t want to live this life. i would rather die than live this life.
i am so exhausted.

2023.03.22 07:40 greg0525 The charlatan's cure
In the pursuit of personal gain, human greed often blinds us to the broader implications of our actions. We become fixated on acquiring more, driven by a relentless desire to climb the ladder of success, wealth, and status. Exploiting those who are vulnerable and desperate, willing to do anything to improve their lives can lead to consequences that not only impact society at large but also our personal environment. In this story, Robert Nelson is about the experience of the consequences of his greed that will stay with him forever like haunting echoes.
***
Naya Redbird, a Native American woman with long, dark hair and bright eyes, stood in her front yard surrounded by a crowd of people. She was holding a bundle of herbs in her hand and talking passionately about their healing properties.
The people were amazed by Naya's knowledge and enthusiasm. They could see the genuine care and passion in her eyes, and they felt hopeful that this herb could be the answer they had been looking for.
"As Native Americans, we have always turned to nature to heal ourselves here, in British Columbia," Naya explained, her voice carrying across the street. "And this herb in particular is a gift from the Earth herself. It can heal anyone and anything."
The passer-bys had stopped in their tracks upon hearing Naya's words. Some of them were sick and in pain, and they looked at her with a mix of hope and skepticism. As Naya continued to speak, more and more people gathered around her. There were those who suffered from joint pain, leg pain, and even a blind person who was looking for a cure. Naya listened intently to each person's story.
One woman in a wheelchair rolled up closer to Naya and asked, "Can this herb really help me? I've been in this chair for years and nothing has worked."
Naya smiled warmly and replied, "Come here, please. But before we begin, what is your name?"
"I'm Elena," the woman replied.
"Nice to meet you, Elena. Now, let me see what I can do," Naya said as she reached for a small herb from her bag.
She spread some dried leaves onto Elena's legs, which had been paralyzed for years. The two women waited in silence as the herb worked its magic, and then suddenly, Elena's legs started to twitch and shake.
A few moments later, Elena stood up from her wheelchair, her eyes wide with amazement. "I can walk!" she exclaimed, tears streaming down her face.
The people who had gathered around them gasped in shock and amazement at the sight before them.
"I can't believe it," one person murmured. "She's been in that wheelchair for years."
Naya smiled at Elena and said, "I'm so glad I could help you. Now go and enjoy your newfound freedom."
Then, a young girl led by her mother approached Naya. The girl was wearing sunglasses and she held a white cane in her hand.
Naya looked at the girl and asked gently, "What is your name, my dear?"
"My name is Sofia," the girl replied with a hint of trepidation in her voice.
Naya smiled reassuringly, "Don't worry, Sofia. I'm here to help you. Now tell me, how long have you been blind?"
"I've been blind for as long as I can remember," Sofia replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
Naya asked the girl to lie down and, reached into her pocket and took out another portion of dried leaves. She then distributed it to the girl’s closed eyes.
"Close your eyes, Sofia, and relax," Naya instructed.
The girl complied, and Naya began to hum a soft tune as she gently massaged the herb paste into Sofia's eyelids. After a few minutes, she whispered a few words in a language that no one in the crowd could understand.
Suddenly, Sofia's eyes snapped open, and she gasped in surprise. For the first time in her life, she could see.
"I can see! I can see!" Sofia cried out, tears streaming down her face.
The crowd around them erupted in cheers and applause, stunned by the miracle they had just witnessed.
Naya hugged Sofia and whispered, "Go and explore the world, my dear. You have a lot to catch up on."
Sofia hugged Naya back and then ran towards her mother, who was crying tears of joy.
The people around them whispered in awe and admiration at Naya's incredible gift of healing. For them, Naya was nothing short of a miracle worker, and they couldn't wait to see what she would do next.
Matt stood in the midst of the bustling crowd, his eyes darting around anxiously. He needed those herbs for his ailing mother, but he had no idea how to get them. After he figured out his next move, he started walking around the house keeping a low profile so as not to arouse suspicion.
Matt waited for a few minutes, making sure that no one was watching him before he carefully made his way around the back of the house.
The garden was well-tended and beautifully decorated with colorful flowers and exotic plants.
The place was a vibrant tapestry of colors and textures, bursting with life and energy. As Matt stepped into the garden, he was greeted by a riot of colors, ranging from the deep blues of the lupines to the bright reds of the Indian paintbrushes. The garden was alive with the sound of buzzing bees and fluttering butterflies, flitting from flower to flower in a dance of pollination.
The garden was meticulously arranged in a circular pattern, with a central fire pit surrounded by a ring of stones. The fire pit was filled with burning coals, sending up spirals of smoke that drifted lazily through the air. The stones around the pit were arranged in a spiral pattern, each one engraved with intricate symbols and patterns.
The plants in the garden were arranged in a series of raised beds, each one bursting with a different array of plants and herbs. Matt could see rows of corn stalks standing tall, their green leaves rustling in the breeze. He could smell the heady aroma of sage and sweetgrass, their fragrances mingling in the air.
In the center of the garden stood a small teepee, its canvas sides painted with intricate designs and symbols. The door of the teepee was open, and Matt could see a fire burning inside, sending up flickering shadows that danced across the walls.
As he walked deeper into the garden, Matt could feel a sense of reverence and respect for the Native American culture that had created this beautiful space. The garden was a tribute to the land, a celebration of nature's beauty, and a reminder of the wisdom and traditions of the people who had called this place home for generations.
As he walked deeper into the garden, Matt felt a sense of peace and tranquility wash over him. He had always been fascinated by Indian culture, and this garden felt like a little slice of paradise.
And the next moment, Robert noticed what he was looking for in the corner of the garden, there was the mysterious dried plant that Naya had been showing to the people in the street. He looked around carefully and he took three bags with him, he stole them and took them home.
As Robert scanned the garden, his eyes locked onto the object of his search: the dried plant shrouded in an aura of mystery, the same one Naya had been showcasing to the curious onlookers in the street. He surveyed his surroundings with keen attention, ensuring that no prying eyes were upon him, before grabbing hold of the three bags. With a quick, furtive movement, he liberated the plant from its spot and tucked it securely into the bags. Satisfied with his acquisition, Robert promptly departed for home and he already knew what he was going to do with them.
Excitedly, got into his car and headed for Seattle the next day. As he settled into his seat, he couldn't help but think about the event he had planned for the upcoming weekend.
Upon arrival in Seattle, Robert immediately set to work on his preparations. He posted an event on Facebook, advertising himself as a powerful healer capable of curing any ailment. He had even booked a large lecture hall at a local community center for the event.
As he typed away at his laptop, he could feel the anticipation building inside of him. "This is going to be incredible," he murmured to himself.
After he arrived, Robert nervously paced the lecture hall, checking and re-checking the setup. Just as he was about to step on stage, a man in the audience approached him.
"Excuse me, sir," the man said. "I couldn't help but notice your advertisement. Can you really heal anything?"
Robert turned to the man with a confident smile. "Absolutely," he said. "I have a gift that can cure any ailment known to man. I even offer a warranty."
The man looked skeptical. "How much do you charge for a healing?" he asked.
Robert thought for a moment before replying, "One healing for 500 dollars."
The man raised an eyebrow. "That's quite steep," he said. "But if you can really heal anything, it'll be worth it."
Robert nodded, feeling a surge of excitement. "Trust me," he said. "You won't be disappointed."
Robert treated a lot of people during the lecture. He used the dried leaves. But oddly, the leaves did not heal the people immediately as they worked with Naya. This made him nervous but he thought the leaves might work later.
Robert stood on the stage, surrounded by a crowd of people who had come to seek his healing powers. He held the mysteriously dried leaves in his hands, ready to work his magic.
He started treating the people, placing his hands on them and rubbing the leaves on their skin. However, he quickly noticed that the leaves didn't seem to have an immediate effect like they did when Naya used them. Robert felt a twinge of nervousness in his gut.
"Is everything okay?" a woman asked him, noticing the hesitation in his movements.
Robert forced a smile. "Yes, everything is fine," he replied. "It might take a little time for the leaves to work their magic."
He continued treating the people, but as time went on, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Finally, one of the people he had treated approached him with a concerned expression.
"I don't feel any different," the person said.
Robert's heart sank. "Just give it some time, madam," he said.
As the event continued, Robert grew increasingly worried. The dried leaves he had so confidently brought with him seemed to have lost their potency. He couldn't help but wonder what had gone wrong.
After the event, Robert was left alone with the dried leaves. He examined them closely, searching for any signs of damage or decay. But to his surprise, the leaves appeared to be perfectly intact.
"What's going on?" he muttered to himself.
But he did not worry for long because the money that he earned was a lot. More than 8000 dollars. He knew he was going to be rich with these magical plants, whatever they were. He checked into a hotel and the next day he made another event on Facebook that he would heal people.
Despite the initial setback, Robert's spirits lifted as he counted the money he had earned from the event. The total amount was more than 8000 dollars, which was far beyond what he had expected.
Robert smiled to himself, feeling a rush of excitement. "This is just the beginning," he thought. "With these magical plants, I'm going to be rich."
He checked into a luxurious hotel, relishing in the feeling of the crisp sheets and soft pillows. As he lay in bed, he pondered his next move. He knew that he had to make the most of this opportunity while he still could.
The next day, he made another event on Facebook, announcing that he would be holding another healing session.
As Robert was preparing for his next healing session, there came loud and angry knocks on his hotel room door. He hesitantly opened it, only to be met with a horde of people in the hallway, all of them looking very agitated and upset.
"What's going on?" Robert asked, his voice shaking with fear.
"You're a fraud!" one of the people in the crowd shouted. "We're all much sicker than we were before!"
The people who had come to confront Robert looked visibly worse than they had the day before. They appeared pale and weak, with dark circles under their eyes. Some of them were coughing and wheezing, while others were holding their stomachs in obvious pain. It was clear that whatever ailments they had been hoping to cure had not only gone untreated but had worsened after the supposed healing session.
Some of them appeared to be in a state of utter misery, with their bodies wracked by pain and suffering. A woman was clutching her stomach and groaning in agony. Others were struggling to breathe, their chests heaving with each labored inhalation. Many had dark, sunken eyes and pale, clammy skin, and some were even trembling with fever. Robert wondered how those people could come to his hotel. Their anger was probably so strong that it gave them enough energy.
It was clear that whatever ailments they had been hoping to cure had not only gone untreated but had worsened to a dangerous degree after the supposed healing session. Their anger was fueled not only by disappointment and a sense of betrayal but also by a growing sense of desperation as they searched for a cure for their afflictions. The sight of them was enough to make Robert's heart sink with guilt and regret.
Robert's heart sank as he realized what was happening. The people from his previous healing session had come to confront him, and they were not happy.
"We want our money back," another person yelled.
"And we want you to stop scamming people," a third person added.
Robert tried to reason with them, explaining that he had done his best to heal them with the magical leaves. But the people were not in a forgiving mood. They barged into his room, causing chaos and destruction.
“My cancer is worse!” a man said coughing.
As Robert watched in horror, the people ransacked his belongings and demanded that he give them back their money. As the people grew increasingly agitated, Robert could sense that things were about to take a turn for the worse. Suddenly, some individuals who were still in a slightly better condition lunged at him, grabbing him by the collar and slamming him against the wall. Others quickly joined in, pummeling him with fists and kicking him when he fell to the ground. Robert tried to shield himself, but the blows kept raining down on him, each one more painful than the last. He could feel the sting of bruises forming on his face and body, and the taste of blood in his mouth. Despite his attempts to fight back, he was outnumbered and overpowered. The beating seemed to go on forever, until finally, the people grabbed their money and fled the scene, leaving Robert battered and broken on the hotel room floor. The experience left him traumatized and deeply shaken, both physically and emotionally.
After rummaging through his drawers, they left him there without his money.
Robert became very disappointed and drove back to his town, Black Rain. There, he went to Naya’s place. She was in her garden, gardening. She was surprised as a stranger was approaching him. Robert looked terribly beaten up. Then Robert asked why the plants did not work. They made people sicker. Naya was first surprised and realized Robert had stolen the plants. And she told Robert that he should not have stolen the plants. The plants were free. The plants had been guarded by a spirit and he puts a curse on the greedy people.
With a heavy heart, Robert left Seattle and drove back to his hometown of Black Rain. He was a broken man, both physically and emotionally, after the disastrous healing session and subsequent beating. He had lost his faith in the magical healing powers of the dried leaves and felt like a fool for ever believing in them.
When he arrived in Black Rain, he knew that he had to seek out Naya for answers. She was the only one who could explain why the leaves had failed him and why they had made the people he had treated even sicker.
As he approached the garden again, he could see Naya in the distance, tending to her plants. The woman looked up when she saw him approaching, surprised to see him in such a state.
"Robert, what happened to you?" she asked, noticing the bruises and cuts on his face.
"It...it didn’t work," Robert muttered, looking down at his feet.
“What?”
Robert finally broke down and told her everything, from stealing the plants to the disastrous healing session and subsequent beating. Naya listened patiently, her face growing increasingly grave. When Robert finished, she took a deep breath and spoke.
"These plants are guarded by a powerful spirit who probably put a curse on the plants that you used."
“I don’t understand…why?”
As Naya was about to reply, a group of men entered the garden and began to carry large bags filled with the dried plants towards the gate, where they loaded them onto a truck.
“These plants are free for everyone and are being donated. You needn’t have stolen them.”
“So the spirit put a curse on it because I stole it?”
“Not exactly. You don’t understand? You did it for greed. I did it for love.”

2023.03.22 07:35 PeppyMoss Potential Additional Features that would make Transformers: Tactical Arena a Lot Better.
In this post, we are going to discuss any cosmetic, functional, or gameplay-related features that could be added to Transformers: Tactical Arena to improve the players’ experience while playing the game. Red Games Co. nailed the gameplay itself and have already proven their ability to deliver great new cards, arenas, emotes, and music tracks in almost every update, but this list will include features that will improve this game in general, either improving the feel of the gameplay or adding more things to do in the main menu screen. These are going to be the types of additions the game needs to have before it can grow any further and expand to a wider audience. The list will be numbered in order of most wanted to not as most wanted, but still wanted (based on my personal preferences). Brace yourselves, here it goes:
- Add a selectable Landscape mode for mobile users:
There are two perspectives available to play the game in: Portrait mode and Landscape mode. Unfortunately, these perspectives are locked in to the system a player uses, with Portrait mode being limited to iPad and iPhone devices while Landscape mode is limited to Macs and Apple TVs. It would be impossible to implement Portrait mode to Macs and Apple TVs as that would limit the player’s perspective, but players on iPhones and iPads should be given a new option in the Settings that would allow them to choose whether to play the game in Portrait Mode, Landscape mode, or Both, depending on the device’s orientation. I would love to have the option to try playing this game in Landscape mode as it would totally change the perspective and the way I play along with it. You have no idea how frequently I miss while using Graviton Nexus because of the current portrait perspective I am limited to.
- Add a Match History feature with a controllable camera for Photo Mode:
This game needs a Match History of some sorts. Perhaps have the option positioned in the main menu between the Crates and Practice options. Not to crowd a respective device’s memory, the Battle Log should have 10 slots, which would fill in every time a Battle is played, sorted from latest at the top to recent at the bottom (preferably with times and dates indicated). If all 10 slots are filled, the recent game (10th in the list) would be automatically permanently deleted and the slot filled in with the next recorded game in queue, and so on. However, users would be given the option to Favorite or Save match replays of their choosing, which would go into a menu next to the Battle Log, have this option called Saved. The number of slots could be either infinite or a maximum of 30 saved replays. This is where the fun begins: the match replays would work in real time similarly to how the tutorial videos for the cards work. This would allow players to do the following: 1) Change perspective, viewing the match play out from their side or from the opponent’s side; and 2) Have a free cinematic camera mode that would give the players two cursors that would allow them to fly the camera around the arena and position it in ways like we have seen only in the trailers for TTA, almost like in Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. This would allow players to create cinematic shots, get clips of cool moments from various perspectives, follow Megatron or Scorponok around as they ravage through the arena. Imagine the amount of advertising it would allow for if players started posting videos of Bumblebee Super Punching a turret from a close up shot, or Starscream swooping in in jet mode.
- Add more game modes:
A lot of people ask for a story mode to be added to the game. Though a story mode would be incredible, it’s a lot to ask for, considering how much work it would take to make. However, we as players have been stuck battling each other or the A.I. solo for more than a year now. I love this game for what it is, it has incredible gameplay that keeps holding it up despite its cons, but it can get boring and repetitive fast, and sometimes I have trouble pushing myself to play through five games every day. Giving players the option to play more modes would highly increase the replayability of this game. For example, when pressing on the Battle button from the Main Menu, instead of a wait queue immediately starting, players would be greeted by another menu, asking them which mode they want to Battle in. The options would be 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and perhaps Story Mode as the lower option (which would be an entire menu in of itself). Yes, you read that right, Red could go so far as to add a 3v3 mode. A while ago, I used to play a game called Mini Guns – Omega Wars. It’s dead now (servers shut down), but it was a unique Clash Royale-inspired mobile game with impressive visuals and fun original gameplay, similar to Transformers: Tactical Arena. It was later added to Steam as well, something I would love to see happen to TTA. There were 4 ways to play the game: it had a story mode, 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3. 3v3 was chaotic and at the same time the best way to play the game, because if your cards were underleveled, you had two teammates who could carry you if they were maxed out, and you were thus more likely to win in 3v3 than in 2v2 and 1v1 modes. I want Transformers: Tactical Arena to have such similar features from Mini Guns – Omega Wars because it’s going to make the game so much more replayable.
- Add more profile customization:
Giving us the option to purchase and choose from a variety of Banners and Avatars was one of the most brilliant things the developers added to this game. However, being able to customize only three things (our names, portraits, and banners) is not enough. How about adding customizable Frames to our tags, such as Bumblebee or Sunstreaker sitting on top, or a boombox around our profile tag, or Scorponok’s claw, Starscream’s Seeker armada, or Soundwave’s minions in every corner of our profile tag? How about adding unique Effects to highlight our tags, such as flames, pink plasma, dripping blue Energon, etc.? How about allowing us to customize our names with unique Fonts? This will monetize the game further and allow us to buy more things with our hard-earned ORE-13.
- Add skin selection for unique characters:
Shortly after being first released, Trailbreaker had his eyes changed from the color red to the color blue. Megatron recently had his entire appearance changed as well, from a more G1-inspired one to a more IDW-inspired one. This got me thinking about how more different skins like that could be added to the game for players to purchase with ORE-13 and use to slightly customize the appearance of their favorite characters. For example, Trailbreaker could be given a blue skin with red eyes, while Megatron could be given his G1-inspired skin back, with the players choosing which they want their Megatron to wear, the older one or the newer one.
NOTE: Do not turn unique characters from Transformers lore into simple reskins of cards already in the game. I.E. Do not make Cliffjumper a red reskin of Bumblebee. Cliffjumper and Bumblebee are two totally unique characters with different fighting styles in Transformers lore. Doing so will also confuse the players. Not everyone will be able to tell that a Bumblebee is coming for their turret if he is painted blue, red, or white instead of bright yellow that will immediately jump into the players’ eyes and warn them. Do not turn Skywarp and Thundercracker into Starscream reskins when they are extremely different characters with unique abilities. Not even Nemesis Prime should be an Optimus Prime reskin. The reskins should be limited only to the unique, named characters in question.
Instead, what you could do is make skins of the characters based on their Shattered Glass versions, which would make sense since it’s something the recent update hinted at. Or have the skins be the Generation 2 (G2) repaints of the characters, or their original Marvel comic book appearances, like the red-eyed, blue-painted Trailbreaker, or remodels of the characters based on the IDW comics, like the recent Megatron reskin we got. Keep the skin selection limited to the named characters selected by the players while customizing their looks.
- Add skin selection for Main and Secondary Turrets.
Similarly to the unit skins presented previously and the tower skins from Clash Royale, Transformers: Tactical Arena can have something similar by allowing players to customize the way their main and secondary turrets look. It would be nice if the main turret could be customized separately from the secondary turrets, or, better yet, *have all three turrets be independently customizable*. The turrets could be labeled Left Turret, Main Turret, and Right Turret during the customization process. Such customization could include festive themes, holiday themes, or, my most wanted proposition, have unique characters become the turrets. Have the main turret be Sky Lynx, who sleeps before being activated, or Tarn sitting on a throne, or Fortress Maximus (with the Secondary Turrets being his extra city mode limbs), or a cloning vat with a Predacon in stasis inside (a reference to Transformers: Prime). Add whatever your imagination tells you to! We as players will love these additions.
- Add skin selection for structures:
Similarly to the unit card skin selection and turret skin selection, there should also be skin customization available for the various structures in the game, including the Decoy (players can choose the character model being projected by the Decoy as well as the Decoy base itself), spawners, Teleporters, smaller turrets, and other deployable building cards. If skins are added for units such as Sharkticons, Minions, and Autobot Troopers and Infantry, their skins should be customizable separately from their respective spawners/Teleporters when customizing the appearance of the structure cards themselves, but also included into the customization.
- Add in-game death animations:
There is nothing more lame than struggling to destroy Scorponok in-game just to see him pop into some Energon bits on death. It would have been so much better if Scorponok would fall back on death, fall apart, or explode into Energon bits. This could add more elements to the game such as Scorponok dealing damage after exploding on death, similarly to how the NOD Avatar explodes on death in Command and Conquer: Rivals. However, this does not apply to Scorponok only. Other characters should have death animations, such as Jazz getting ripped in half (a reference to his death in the 2007 Transformers movie), Megatron falling to his knees and landing on his chest due to how big and bulky he is, Crosshairs and Spinister spinning out of control and crashing into the ground, Optimus Prime falling back (a reference to his death in the 1986 Transformers movie), Windblade getting blasted back and her sword sticking into the ground (similarly to how Clash Royale’s Knight’s sword sticks into the ground when his is killed), Starscream transforming into his jet and flying away, not actually dying because he is a coward, etc. Minions and Drones would still have their current death animations, while Autobot Infantry and Troopers could have something more unique like breaking apart into parts on death. And keep these death animations relatively short and simple, no longer than 2 or 3 seconds, similarly to the way Metal Slug soldiers die when you shoot them.
- Add units emoting at the end of the game:
This may sound confusing but bear with me. Do you know how there is a 1 or 2 second delay between a winning turret being destroyed and the victory screen coming up? Ever played Metal Slug? Ever seen how the enemy troops cheered and celebrated when you died, taunting your death? Ever played Red Alert 2 or 3? Ever seen how the units on the map would start cheering if you achieved victory? Seeing something similar to that in this game would be downright INCREDIBLE. Not only would it taunt your opponent, but it would look fun and good from an entertainment perspective. Autobot Troopers could start throwing their pistols in the air. Autobot Infrantry could dance and jump around. Megatron could strike a victorious pose, hands on hips and straightened out. Optimus Prime could lower his Energon Axe similarly to how does it in the squad selection screen. Grimlock could stomp the ground and release a burst of fire into the air to celebrate. Sunstreaker could start firing rockets into the sky as fireworks. Trailbreaker could start firing at the sky as an act of celebration. Moonracer could holster her sniper rifle similarly to her squad selection idle animation. Bumblebee could start clapping. Brawn could crack his knuckles and fold his arms. Starscream could transform into a jet and fly off. Soundwave could transmit a radio signal. Shockwave could return to plotting his schemes the way he does during his idle animation in the Squad selection screen. Windblade could slowly holster her blade. On the contrary, if the game is lost, the units would have unique scared animations, either shivering in the same spot or panicking and running away. The possibilities are endless.
- Add new daily and weekly objectives with higher rewards.
Right now, the game cycles between about 10 different daily challenges that are fairly easy to complete, but the lack of uniqueness is very boring. Add more daily and weekly objectives that involve using newer cards such as Chromia instead of Bonecrusher, for example. Such objectivates would help out newer players and add more spice to more experienced players.
- Add more Squad slots:
3 Squads is not enough. Simple as. In comparison, Clash Royale allows players to create 10 different decks at once. Giving us the option to make 5 would be way better than limiting us to 3, even though a similar system to CR could be implemented and we could be given the full 10 Squad slots in TTA as well. I had to overwrite many fun and unique Squads with more practical ones in the past since I had only 3 slots to work with, and I can’t really experiment with making new Squads since I’m trying to stick with the 3 I already have.
- Add Squad randomization:
On the topic of Squad creation, it can be difficult for new players to create Squads that work, so creating a button that, once pressed, would auto-generate a random Squad would be great. Every randomly generated Squad would have at least 1 random tactical support card, at least 1 random tank car, at least 1 random win condition car, at least 1 random structure card, at least 1 random ranged unit card, at least 1 random melee unit card, and so on.
- Add more Crate types (a greater Crate variety for players to unlock):
The current four types of Crates we have are very good (Common, Rare, Epic, and Arena), but wouldn’t it be better if we had more options to unlock and upgrade cards and get ORE-13? Adding a greater variety of Crates would give players more reason to grind and would make leveling up slightly easier and more fun. You could add a Legendary crate that contained only Legendaries, a Giant crate which would contain the most cards of any other Crate, etc. Anything you could come up with would be better than us being stuck with the same old four (mostly three) types of Crates.
- Add more A.I. decks and fix the A.I. itself:
It’s nice to have the current A.I. decks memorized to allow for easy victories, but at the same time this should not be the case. Rather than having the A.I. use randomized decks, simply create more decks for it cycle through than
u/Picopede already listed in the following post: (
https://www.reddit.com/TransformersTactical/wiki/ai-squads/). Add decks with the new cards, have the A.I. use decks with cards like Starscream, Scorponok, both Chaser cards in one deck, Trailbreaker, Sharlticon Portal, Shockwave, Railgun, and other unused cards that never show up while fighting the A.I. at upper levels. Fix the old decks so that the A.I. knows how to use actual strategies and strong card combinations instead of spamming units like crazy, hoping to overwhelm the human opponents. The A.I. should be more interesting and rewarding to fight.
- Add a camera mode in the Squad screen that would allow us to look at the 3D models of the characters closer:
Sometimes, instead of playing the game, it feels good to sit back and take in its beautiful art style, which includes looking at the characters, reading through their bios, and watching their tutorial videos. It would be nice if there was more, if there was an option once you entered the Squad screen and clicked on a card, to press on a button for some sort of Camera Mode and look at the cards in greater detail, from different perspectives. Maybe we could even be given the option to play specific animations for the card we chose, such as first deployment, regular attack, idle animation, and any other animations that card has. This feature would also allow players to look at unique character, structure, and turret skins (proposed to be added in points 5, 6, and 7) from different perspectives before or after purchase in the Supply Shop.
- Add a controllable camera to the Crates selection screen:
When it comes to unlocking Crates, it can get a bit boring and repetitive to do so. Despite us getting the Open All button, I am the type of player who unlocks the Crates one by one to visually see the things I get and any milestones I reach with my card levels. This feature is definitely not a must, but it would improve the immersion of the game so much more if we could look at the different types of Crates from different perspectives, especially the unique Arena ones, or any other Crate types the developers might add.
- Add sound effects to emotes:
This has the danger of making the game more toxic, but it’s pretty lame to see an emote without actually hearing it. I love the emotes as they are, the way they look and the way they play. However, this addition might take a lot of work to implement, so it should not be a priority.
- Make the gameplay feel more smooth:
Now this point is a bit more techy than the previous ones, but this is a complaint about the gameplay itself. There is a certain edge to it, like there is always a delay to the things you do, or the gameplay itself feels choppy, like you are playing at 30 fps instead of 60 fps. I would say this may have been done to conserve battery power, but changing the graphics quality of the game does not improve its flow, in fact it makes the gameplay even more choppy and laggy. If there was an option added to the Settings that would allow to increase the smoothness of the game at the cost of battery usage, that would be great, because the game does not run on mobile the same way it does on the Apple TV, based on watching
u/Picopede ’s videos.
- Add a wait time for unit deployment.
In Clash Royale, when you want to deploy a card but do not have enough Elixir to do so, being 1 cost point short or so, the game deploys the card wherever you placed it on a certain wait queue that lasts a second or a millisecond before you accumulate enough Elixir, finally deploying the card later than you initially “planted” it. This can be both harmful, if you don’t plan ahead or misplace a card, and powerful, allowing for well-timed clutches and close calls. Transformers: Tactical Arena currently does not have this. You can either deploy a card if you have enough Energon, or you cannot. As a result, you have to hover your finger over the spot where you want to deploy a card while keeping your eyes on the Energon meter, which hinders your vision and allows you to make serious mistakes. Though depleting your Energon is a bad game strategy, this game should still have the same option of deploying your cards on millisecond-long queues, because I missed a lot of close calls and clutch moments due to either not being able to see the screen under my finger or the card I wanted to deploy not being deployed at all.
- Allow the deselection of cards in-game.
There is nothing more frustrating than misclicking on the arena after selecting a card but after changing your mind, and deploying a card you did not want to deploy at a random spot on the arena, for example at the bottom of the arena, right above the card selection bar. The only way of deselecting the card you currently have selected is to click on a different card, and you better not accidentally click somewhere randomly on the arena, or else the game will be lost. Players should have the option of deselecting the card they currently have selected. This can be done by either swiping down on the same card (since the card you have selected is raised up), or pressing a new x button added to the selected card, anything would be better then just hovering over what we have selected without being able to click anywhere else on the screen. It would also clear the screen up of the checkered pattern that appears every time you select a card, which would allow for better control of players’ vision.
- Fix ranged units not firing at enemy units within melee range.
There is a very annoying bug that happens whenever units approach ranged units really closely - the ranged units just simply stop firing at them. For example, if Optimus Prime enters Charge in his truck mode and Shockwave is standing right in front of him as he passes, Shockwave won’t fire at Optimus and will just allow him to pass without stunning him. This is true for all ranged units, including Sunstreaker, Trailbreaker, Arcee, Jazz, Starscream, Rotorstorm (he won’t fire at units directly under him), etc. The only exception is Megatron who uses Backhand in melee range. Either add melee attacks similar to Megatron’s Backhand to all ranged units or just simply allow them to fire at targets right in front of them.
- Add a new leaderboard.
This is an idea proposed by the other people on this Subreddit, such as
u/Boosetro. Though I agree with the idea of having more than two leaderboards for a general ranking and the number of turrets destroyed, I don’t know if I agree with this idea in particular. Diving out PvP from PvE would force players to wait to play the game in PvP mode, which is rarely fun, competitive, and thus rather frustrating. People are free to disagree though, and I will leave it up to the developers to think about this point. Perhaps add a new Ranked leaderboard that would be limited to PvP matches.
- Add a new Spectator Mode that will allow players to attend and observe other real-time matches.
This feature follows the feature proposed in Part 2. Once a Battle Log feature is successfully added to the game, a Spectator mode should also be added, which would allow players to join and view a random or selected game happening in real time between two other players or between a player and a bot. This addition would be similar to what Clash Royale has. Players playing the game would be able to view how many people are spectating them, and the spectators would be able to use minimized emotes and cheer for the players they are spectating (or the opponents) without distracting either player. The reason I placed this feature so far down in the list is because I don’t consider its addition that important, though other people here may disagree. I never liked the spectator feature in Clash Royale and thus don’t think Transformers: Tactical Arena needs one. However, it’s up to the developers to decide whether they want to implement this or not.
Thus, that amounts to a total of 23 items (and counting) to improve the feel of the game. It is up to the developers to decide whether they want to add these features or not, but I can guarantee they would make the game feel so much better. Please consider some of these. If you have any extra ideas, make sure to comment them down below! Thank you for reading through this list!

The Dark Side of the Human Mind - A deep dive into everything the humans don’t want to talk about.
Written by Mirassi Vanghli
Posted on a Venlil discussion forum. Exact date unknown, as it was quickly removed by moderators and spam reuploaded by users.
INTRO
I’ve been stuck on how to write a beginning to this post for some time now. I’ve filled databanks upon databanks of research into this work, but the beginning always eluded me. I think now, after all of it, the only way I can start this is by starting with myself.
My name is Mirassi. I’m a Venlil, probably one of the most average Venlil physically you will ever meet. I don’t even stick out that much in the way I act or speak, so you would probably pass over me without a second glance, and would probably not even notice me even if you had met me millions of times. Just another reed of a Prinyat.
However, there is something far different about me, I’ve buried it so deeply inside all these years, and for the most part it’s completely inconsequential for my everyday life.
Whenever I get that instinctual fear response in my chest, I like it. Not to a suicidal state, mind you, it’s not a true predators disease. But enough to take interest in having a fake sort of fear. To absolutely adore the parts everyone hates about Season 4 of The Exterminators. To read up on the classifications of predators a bit in my spare time.
…
Speh.
This didn’t help at all.
I got stuck again, so let me just skip to the important bit.
I signed up for the Human-Venlil exchange program. I wanted to get that feeling of fear, but I finally just wanted the other claw to pass. It wasn’t enough. The human I met was adorable. They chose the best for first contact. No Venlil alive knows what exactly the humans are truly capable of. Not even the Venlils who “researched” them for first contact. I looked at those notes before, they don’t go beyond the eyes.
So with my exchange partner, I asked him for the worst. Not the illusion we made, but the true worst parts of themselves that even they seemed to be scared of.
After digging through human history and myth, I found it.
I’m not scared. Scared is the jolt I get from the animal level of my brain from seeing figures in the shadows of a forest canopy.
I’m terrified.
The bloodthirsty predator that everyone thinks of when someone mentions a Human that rips apart Venlil with its bare hands now feels so comical to me. Almost comforting in its simplicity.
So I wanted to document this horror. Partly for my own sake. Partly because some people might finally get some closure on their fear, by seeing the whole picture instead of letting speculation get the best of them.
But most of all, as a cautionary tale. What makes Humans scary isn’t going to be revealed just because you looked at them wrong or because you ran away too fast or because you just offended their “predator instincts”.
Humans are kind creatures. Capable of far more empathy and kindness then we can ever give them credit for. Especially now when the entire galaxy has put that empathy through so much strain and pressure.
But even more than that, Humans are afraid of themselves. Arguably deeper than any Federation devout can ever claim. There is a part of them so dangerous, so cruel, that even they had to lock it away. That even after their homeworld was bombed to smithereens, they are still unwilling to fully use it.
Because it was so dangerous that it almost destroyed their entire species.
And if they believe that in the end, the bitter end, that the survival of all that they hold dear relies on that lock finally coming off?
They will open that box.
And even they will cry over your suffering.
Oh yeah, and you’ll also learn some fun facts about humans while reading this. Have fun!

2023.03.22 06:16 PoppyToffee Someone shared on a subreddit today about their decision to have their unpredictable and dangerous but beloved dog behaviorally euthanized. I have something to say.
The mods predictably shut comments down, as this topic is polarizing, but as a professional dog trainer, I had this to say. I wanted a to reach a larger audience so I'll share this here.
I commend you and respect your decision more than you know. I've been a balanced trainer for almost two decades, and it's one of my biggest hopes that we will see the stigma surrounding behavioral euthanasia lift because I don't have enough fingers and toes to equal the number of times I've weighed and laid out for owners and concluded that BE was the kindest, most responsible, and most of all, the RIGHT choice. But the owners chose to disregard and even accuse me of being an animal abusers or "just not knowing how to train a dog is all" because they have a Disneyfied view on life and animal behavior in particular and believe that love will change an animals fundamental and instinctive nature. Newsflash: nature always overcomes nurture. Any trainer who tells you that can train out genetic aggression or that "every dog can be saved" is full of shit and is a snake oil salesman. Any person that thinks cramming a cornucopia of pills down their dogs throat then keeping it under lock and key is any way to live is out of their damn mind and not really an animal lover regardless of what they may preach.
And before anyone gets sand in their ass crack about it (and I would hope my fellow honest professional dog trainers will back me up on this), the majority of which are pit bull type dogs, must meet certain criteria to meet that places them snugly in the category of "Irreparable - Too Dangerous". For anybody with logic, the pit bull and it's close cousins are bred for fighting and bull baiting or hunting. It's just common sense that a type of dog created for that type of activity are going to have alheightened aggression. Terriers in general were all need for one reason, and that is to kill. Every single breed. And they're all quite scrappy anyway. To have a dog that possesses this as a genetic trait takes accepting and rearranging your life and learning to keep people safe from your dog and vice versa.
It's not a decision that I take lightly (although when I come to a conclusion it is made there on the spot - it's very easy to assess what you should do with a dog in terms of training or medication, and of course, BE. And I'm not biased in terms of being heavy handed when I give them my professional opinion, it doesn't matter the breed. I have told owners of 5lb dogs that unless they were willing to put up with it, that was on them, but that my recommendation is that they elect for behavioral euthanasia. I had a couple of veterinarians in area the area whose numbers I'd provide them with who were willing to perform the operation, because a surprising number of vets will not help ease the mental pain suffered by a dog who cannot voice it's anguish. As long as it is physically healthy, it shouldn't be out to sleep, is their logic.
But a life spent constantly tense, in a perpetual state of hypervigilance, finger snap personality changes, anxious, told by your brain something is wrong and the answer is violence, or just being true to it's nature as a dog, which is where a dog is just wired to carry out the cycle of predation; locate , stalk, chase, bite, maul, kill. This genetic trait can be more problematic to ever solve since it is a self rewarding behavior; tack that on a breed already predisposed to genetic aggression and you can have a dog that is far too dangerous for anyone less than a seasoned trainer to own and those types of unicorn homes with no other dogs, other animals, kids, frail people, or close neighbors and are super vigilant when they're out and anal retentive when it comes to keeping the dog contained securely are as rare as their namesake.
** Part of our job as canine professionals is to not only evaluate and trainer a dog, it is also to make sure you are not putting everyone in the community in danger. Even if your dog "just" kills the neighbors cat, it wasn't "just" a cat to them just as your dog isn't "just" a dog to you. That cat was family to somebody. **
Scenario:Now imagine you didn't rationalize that your dog killing something without provocation. Your dog is out of control. You consult with a trained professional (say, me). We talk and establish that your dog checks of the majority of the boxes in the section marking candidates for BE.
You allow the trainer to see the dog in it's home environment, in it's territory (a short 5-6 blocks up and back around and back (hopefully coming across some triggers so I can observe and see if it is manageable, and in an unfamiliar place, where we get in the car and drive somewhere the dog has never been and observe the behavior then, then assess the owners training and management ability. A weak or incompetent trainer simply is not acceptable and not everyone is good with animals. They simply cannot read body language, pick up cues, exert enough authority over the animal, or effectively communicate with the dog in a way it will understand, or come across to me as chronically irresponsible, lazy, wilfully ignorant and refuse to take direction, too constitutionally weak to handle a dog that represents a safety concern, that is all take into consideration when I offer you my final decision. Behavioral euthanasia is the best and kindest option and that I can walk you through it. I help you to understand it is not a failure on your part, or what you could or shouldn't have done. Sometimes a dog just isn't wired right. It could seriously hurt or kill someone including you in the blink of an eye. Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't, and when a clear pattern of dangerous behavior. Every single owner of a dog that seriously injures or kills someone says "But he never did that before."
You decide to disregard this advice, thinking it cruel or evil, or thinking I'm taking the lazy way out, question the trainers integrity and judgment and skill because "So-and-so from YouTube doesn't give up on his clients. All dogs can be fixed, I just need a different trainer, a better trainer
I see you around on FB, your feed is a continuous documentary of your catastrophic attempt to own and safely manage a dog that's a walking time bomb; " Today Zeus almost killed another dog for no reason at the dog park today. I just don't understand we've been working with trainers and he was doing pretty good, he even played with this same dog last week now I'm asking for prayers for all of us"
You almost don't want walk him anymore, but he needs to go out, right?
The walk is lovely until you turn the corner and uh-oh! Zeus literally turns you into a human kite soaring along behind you as it pursues a particularly tasty child with their faithful object of your dogs fixation originally. It tears the into other dog, being at eye height, the child is severely bitten, mauled or even killed. Yes, it happens. At least once in the 60 ish on average canine inflicted deaths in my country, the US.
When I recommend BE, it is for the sake of the dogs mental health because a life of severe neuroses you neither understand nor can explain, or spend you life doped to the gills under lock and key 24/7, or warehoused and forgotten to languish and take up resources for years. You should ALWAYS be present during the euthanasia of your pet, even if it breaks your heart. One, because you need to be there to provide emotional support and hold your dog while they administer the sleepy time juice. And if you don't stay with your animal and leave it anxious and confused to be PTS in the already stressful vets officer, you're a dick, full stop.
AND AND AND. You also NEED to be there and see for yourself that your dog really has passed on, check for a pulse when the vet announces TOD to you. There really are vets out there who will go as far as deeply sedating a dog when an owner they gauge naive enough to have their dog pumped full of enough anesthesia to knock out a horse and it suppresses respiration, they tell the owner the dog is gone and sneak it out the back door to take home because again, they're ARAs, which is much different than the superior support of Animal Welfare. If you're not there for the procedure, there is a high chance of some do gooder who just takes the dog and flips it and puts it in some random home, where oftentimes someone is hurt severely.
ATTENTION: Did you know there are only two freaking states in the entire US where it is *required by law for shelters to give the dogs bite history to you?* That's right, 48 states don't have to tell you your new pet was in the shelter for almost ripping the previous owners kis face off. Sickeningly, there is even a "non-profit charity" called "The Lexus Project" who devotes MILLIONS to slimeball lawyers whose purpose is to represent dogs who have SEVERELY hurt or killed people, one such famous case is with Mickey pit bull in Arizona who almost ripped his owners young kids face off because he was a resource guarder. People blamed the kid for a dogs bad behavior and they came and the mayor of some town nearby adopted the mutt and gave it a lavish life while anti human pit worshippers sniffed his farts for rescuing a "poor innocent pibbles tortured into having to fight for his life from an evil six year old". It's pretty sick and you can Google it; it's pretty bizarre and sick to me. Most of the dogs are, surprise... Pit bulls.
The reason I never advocate rehoming these dogs, not only is it irresponsible as fuck to place a dog whose unpredictable aggression is so bad that a loving owner decided it wasn't safe to have anymore, but again you have to weigh the risk to a community. Sometimes even one attack is enough to take a life.
It's a difficult choice to make. Don't beat yourself up. You are releasing your dog from it's mental prison and taken a lot of anxiety and stress surrounding your dog lifted from not only yourself but the entire community. I'd suggest finding a reputable breeder next time who knows what they're doing mixing genetics and breeding animals. An ethical breeder will produce animals that will always have the same, breed specific temperament as described in the breed standard (so make sure you always research your breeds and make sure the breed is one you're prepared to take on even with their downsides, like a predisposition towards animal aggression and ready to adjust your life as necessary to accommodate the breed.)
I am always available to consult for free for anyone looking to add a pedigreed purebred friend to their lives. I can put you in touch with ethical, responsible breeders of pretty much any breed you can think of nationwide. Don't ask me for recommendations for ethical Doodle or designer dog breeders; ethical breeders of such don't exist. I can recommend you a fantastic substitute for a Doodle and you can choose from about ten different purebreds that are virtually indistinguishable from Doodles when not shaved down, and have all the qualities and more people predictably pull out when I ask them what it is that draws them to Doodles in particular.
Have a good night and keep your chin up. More people support your decision than you know. :)
Sincerely, an appreciative dog trainer.

2023.03.22 04:27 AkumaDark613 [New Dawn] - Chapter 29 - The Painful Reunited - Mini Arc 1: The Clash Of Two Brothers - Dark Fantasy, Morden Age, Gore
On the way to the location of the traitor Alex Mercury, Langress and Will were stuck in traffic because there was a big public protest on the main road in Brooklyn. This was a big public protest for a lot of issues like women's rights, black protection, Lgbtq, environment day, poultry protection, stop war and many other issues. Everyone was standing in the street causing a traffic jam and Langress and Will were stuck on the right side. Langress started complaining:
"Ahhh, what the fuck? What the hell are they doing?!"
Will replied:
"Oh, uh. This is a protest, Langress. They are demanding a lot of rights for them by protesting and asking the government to change some laws."
Langress said:
"Arghh, why don't they start a war already and then do whatever they want after they win? This is so annoying, Will, where do we go next?"
Will checked the map on his phone and replied:
"Uhhh, oh yeah, go straight for a bit and then turn left and we'll come to Joralemon Street, that's the location of the guy we're looking for."
Langress said:
"Hah, fine. Hold on to my waist Will, I'll drive very fast!"
Will screamed in panic:
"Oh wait. No!"
Langress drove up a bit, then had to stop again, he said angrily:
"What the fuck?! Can't they make way for me?"
Will replied:
"We can walk, you know."
Langress thought for a moment and then said:
"Nah, I'd rather ride my motorcycle. There must be something that can help me..."
Langress accidentally pressed the horn then he saw everyone suddenly cover their ears and move away. Then he smiled evilly and while Will's face turned panic, he said:
"Oh no."
Langress shouted:
"Here we go!"
Langress honked the horn repeatedly and kept driving, the protesters were deafened by the horn and had to make way for Langress and Will. Suddenly a guy stopped their motorcycle and said:
"Hey! Are you planning to disturb this protest? This is a very important public demonstration by everyone,
We will fight for the rights of the homeless and the rights of animals, you know that?"
Langress replied:
"Yeah, yeah, whatever the fuck you say. I give no shit about that."
Langress kept driving but was still stopped by the guy, he continued:
"Get off the motorcycle and talk to me right away like a man, I can't accept such rude behavior."
Langress taunted him:
"Men deal with fists, we don't negotiate."
The guy also took off his jacket to show off his muscles and said angrily:
"Come and see it! Come and see it! The punk like you will never have it."
Langress drove over and easily slapped him on the right cheek, which was very painful. The guy yelled like a child and said:
"Oh my God! It hurts. He hit me, everyone."
Langress slapped his left cheek again and replied:
"Never say God's name for crap."
People started talking around Langress and Will, they raised their phones and started filming them. A girl was filming while pointing at Langress and said through the camera:
"See everyone. Our society still has toxic and homophobic guys like him. Where will society go with guys like him? Please don't become such bad guys."
Langress was photographed and filmed by more than a dozen phones and posted on the Internet as a villain, he felt too tired and annoying so he immediately activated the left mechanical gauntlet and punched the air so hard that the phone around exploded. The crowd was like turning into monkeys and confused when there was no phone and Langress and Will simply left. On the way, Langress said wearily:
"Arghh, I've never had such a headache and trouble in my life. And why are those two guys hugging and wearing pink shirts?"
Will could only laugh dry letting it all go while he knew what Langress was talking about. A few minutes later, they were at the high-class apartment of the traitor Alex. Langress parked near a park then picked up a guitar case and said:
"Alright, let's go."
Langress and Will then entered the building to go upstairs. And their first challenge was waiting in the elevator to go up. In the meantime, Will asked Langress:
"So what will you do when you see him again? Your old teammate."
Langress replied coldly:
"Of course I'll torture him brutally so he can tell me everything about Lancerlord and the Predator's position. Then I'll kill him."
Will trembled and continued:
"Then what are you going to do next?"
Langress replied:
"Obviously, I'll kill the Lancerlord, that copycat guy and eventually the Predator faction."
Will said:
"What about after that?"
Langress slowed down a bit, he had to make up a random reason:
"I'll keep hunting vampires, or werewolves if I want to."
Will went on to say:
"Then after that?"
Langress was running out of ideas, he had to reply:
"Fine, I don't know. My only purpose in this life is to fight and kill, I can never have a peaceful life anymore."
Will said with positivity:
"There are so many good things in this world that I'm sure you'll want to enjoy."
Langress smirked slightly and replied:
"This world doesn't need me anymore. The Hybrids have been fighting to protect them for hundreds of years and now they're doing bullshit and meaningless things for themselves."
Will said with sympathy for Langress:
"I'm sorry for your situation. Life is hard for you."
Langress replied to cheer Will up:
"So Will, please enjoy those good things for me. I may die but I want no one around me to die anymore. You, Josh and Jonathan, no one will have to sacrifice anymore. ."
Will nodded to Langress and they were on the top floor of the building just in time. Langress and Will nodded and stepped outside to begin the quest. Will held up the phone and led them to an apartment at the end of the hallway. Langress looked around to make sure no one was there, then he pulled out the dagger from his right thigh and knocked on the door. One opened the door and said:
"Who is that?"
Langress immediately rushed in and covered his mouth and then pushed him back quickly and Will quickly closed the door behind him. That guy was truly Alex Mercury, the former traitor of the New Hope faction. Langress pushed him into an armchair, then pressed a dagger to his left cheek and said cruelly:
"Oh what a memory scar. You're surprised right, remember me right. Yeah and now your time to live starts counting down now!"
Langress stabbed the dagger down Alex's left hand and made him scream in pain. Langress said angrily:
"Tell me where is he?! Where's Lancerlord?!"
Alex in pain pointed his hand towards his bedroom, Langress quickly turned around to see Lancerlord waiting for him. Lancerlord said calmly:
"Welcome. Langress."
Langress replied with anger in his voice:
"Lancerlord."
Lancerlord's vampire soldiers stopped invisible and quickly surrounded Langress and Will. One guy immediately broke Alex's neck, in his rage, Langress quickly pulled his dagger out of Alex's hand and slashed at the guy's neck just now. He was so badly injured that he died on the spot. Langress wiped the blood off the dagger by the guy's shirt and put it back in the holster then he said with mockery:
"What a suck joke. You know they're nothing to me. One slash is enough to deal with them all."
Lancerlord replied:
"Yeah, I know, and so does your little friend."
They looked over at Will and scared him, but Langress slammed down the guitar case and said loudly:
"Stop talking shit! This is a private matter between us, he has nothing to do with it. If you don't want to die, don't touch him."
Will hid behind Langress and became alarmed and the vampires laughed, Lancerlord smirked and said:
"You are wrong to bring a weakling like him. But out of respect for you, he has three minutes to get out of here quickly or he will die."
Langress replied:
"Good."
Lancerlord said:
"Let's start the countdown, one..."
Langress said to Will:
"Will, go now. Leave the building immediately and call for help if you need it."
Will replied in panic:
"But what about you? Lancerlord is stronger than you."
Langress said:
"I need not be afraid, for I am The World's Strongest Hybrid. And I have this."
Langress crushed the guitar case and pulled out the Devil's Blood Tachi, he said:
"My new legendary weapon will kill you."
Lancerlord smirked confidently and replied arrogantly:
"Oh, you got a new girl? Then Alpha God will be really sad. Ah wait, she's mine now hahaha."
Will hastily took out Langress's power control cuff remote and said:
"I'll turn off your cuff, so you'll have a better chance..."
But Will accidentally caused a guy behind to throw a knife and destroy the remote, he laughed and said mockingly:
"Then you will die sooner and faster. Hahaha!"
But Lancerlord immediately threw a knife in the face and killed the guy, he said:
"You all are cowards and pathetic, you can't even give me a good fight."
Langress replied:
"I may be restrained from my powers, but I still have more than enough to defeat you. Will, go now!"
Will said:
"No Langress."
Langress said fiercely:
"Go now! Run or Die! Only one of two!"
Will became startled and ran out of the room. The vampires locked the door and blocked the way for Langress to leave. Lancerlord said arrogantly:
"So the rat has run away. Now break your cuff. Show me if you still have power."
Langress growled like a wolf and replied:
"You should regret saying that."
Then the fantasy song "Weightless" by Twelve Titans Music played, the song's sad, tragic and epic melody went with every wound Langress suffered when he broke the cuff and the hatred and rage but regret inside him. Langress took off his left sleeve jacket and showed Lancerlord his cuff. Then Langress grabbed the cuff and began to break it. Each of his fingers tightened and broke harder was all Langress's hatred. The stronger his hatred, the more powerful he was. Langress was grazed and bleeding and made the vampires laugh, but Lancerlord still did not smile and looked seriously at Langress. Langress continued to break the cuff with all his might, he wanted to fight Lancerlord when they were both at their best. Langress and Lancerlord's gaze never ceased to escape each other, their eyes of hatred, anger and sadness were all that remained of the two who were once brothers. Langress growled harder and slowly broke the cuff, the vampires were taken aback while Lancerlord smiled proudly. Langress snapped even harder, there was a crack and his arm was completely broken but his eyes were still filled with determination as he pulled away from the cuff. Lancerlord shouted as a cheer for Langress:
"Do it! You are The World's Strongest Hybrid right?!"
Langress used all his strength and shouted strongly:
"I AM LANGRESS MCLOUCHT!"
Langress held back the pain and yanked the cuff out of his arm, instantly, all of his power returning to him. The broken arm quickly recovered in an instant like it had never been broken. Langress put on his coat and threw away the annoying cuff and said:
"Now, answer me. Why did you kill them all? Our teammates, our friends, our brothers, Why?!"
Lancerlord replied calmly:
"Because they are all weak, they are weak to protect humanity. We can overthrow all things, vampires, werewolves and humans to create an empire of our own but they still insisting on that stupid right thing. We've been betrayed by humanity since the beginning, Langress. We are only pawns and slaves of fate to protect them like squishy soldiers protect the stupid king. I simply killed all the weak, like this Alex, because he was a coward to run away from The Eternal Blood War."
Langress replied angrily:
'I won't let you say that!"
Langress immediately lunged at Lancerlord and punched him, but he quickly kicked him back causing Langress to slide down and break the table behind. Lancerlord said arrogantly:
"You see! You've always been the most stubborn and reckless. You let your emotions take over and let your fists decide everything. You're weak too."
Langress replied:
"You're even more cowardly by betraying them all. No wonder they call you The Betrayer."
Lancerlord got a little angry and said:
"Have you forgotten yourself? You're always the one who abandons your comrades to fight for yourself. You're just a selfish asshole!"
Lancerlord walked over to Langress and he also stood up to approach him. The two punched each other and when their fist collided cracked the floor and ceiling, their eyes filled with anger. Lancerlord said:
"You think I wouldn't suffer to have to do that? Watching them die, one by one. I just wanted to free them from this stupid fate."
Langress replied:
"You were a fool, you were controlled by lust to side with the Predator."
Lancerlord said:
"I never sided with them and I joined them myself as my will. They were right about the humans, that they are not worthy to be protected or to be masters of the world!"
Langress and Lancerlord kicked each other hard in the stomach and pushed them away. Langress said:
"You're right, humans are just a bunch of arrogant, stupid, unfilial and obstinate bunch. But they have nothing to do with this war."
Lancerlord replied:
"No, they've known it all since The Eternal Blood War began. It was they who pushed us all to our deaths!"
Langress said angrily:
"That's just a stupid excuse to ignore your disgusting actions!"
Lancerlord replied angrily:
"You have no idea how much I sacrificed to protect the Hybrids!"
Langress said:
"By making them worse than they are today? What a foolish and futile sacrifice."
Lancerlord replied angrily:
"Then show me what you can do to change it all! The World's Strongest Hybrid!"
Langress said even more angry:
"Your death will change everything."
The tension between Langress and Lancerlord grew hotter and more terrible, the conflict between the two of them was unstoppable. Going back to Will a bit, when he ran away, he rushed down the emergency stairs but suddenly he stopped. Will was only a human, he was very scared and weak and he always ran away like his primitive instincts whenever he was in danger. It was not that he was cowardly, but Will's fear dominated his bravery. But this time was different, he didn't want to run away anymore, Langress and Josh had always been the ones to stay and fight for him and they didn't need any retribution. That didn't make Will feel safe, but he felt small and self-deprecating because of his own weakness. Will suddenly burst into tears and yelled:
"Oh please, I want to run. Langress already said that, I have to run, that's right, I have to run to get help. But..."
Will looked back at the room and knew Lancerlord would easily defeat Langress. Will kicked the floor repeatedly to push himself to keep running, but this time his heart wouldn't let him. Will must fight, he said:
"God, forgive me for having to bleed. But this time I'm doing it for the right thing."
Will rang the fire alarm to promptly evacuate everyone from the building. Many people heard the bell so they quickly evacuated from the building and left an empty battlefield for Langress and Lancerlord. Will then cut his hand to bleed, he said as bravely as the first time he had such a great moment:
"I will fight with you, Langress."
The inside of the room became surprised by the fire alarm, the vampires opened the door to check outside to find Will standing at the end of the hallway with his bleeding hand. They could not hold back the smell of blood, so they immediately rushed to Will, they shouted:
"It's mine!"
Suddenly Will raised Boss Luca's Eagle Eyes Beta Pistol and took aim at them. Without fear or anxiety, Will sighed and no longer hesitated to pull the trigger. Seven smart bullets were fired and flew rapidly at them. The vampires immediately crawled to the wall to dodge but the smart bullets still flew at them and killed all of Lancerlord's men to their surprise and panic. Will became shocked at the power of the bullets but he still followed Boss Luca's instructions. Opened the magazine to let the bullets fly back inside and then reloaded and racked the slide to get ready for the next shot. Will was so shocked that it took a moment to realize he was still bleeding. Will hastily bandaged it and said:
"I believe in you, Langress, and thank you very much."
Will then left the building for Langress and Lancerlord to have a big battle and he also called Arenyx to evacuate the civilians. Back to Langress and Lancerlord, they stood strong and defiant. The water from the fire sprinklers fell on them like it was washing away what they still considered each other as brothers. Langress and Lancerlord rushed forward and grabbed the other's left shoulder shirt. They stared at each other, filled with hatred and indignation. They gripped tighter and suddenly a flurry of flashbacks loomed between the two of them about their most glorious days. Their powers collided, destroying the floor further and shattering the windows. From this moment on, they were no longer brothers. The fateful battle between the two brothers began.

2023.03.22 04:24 zeegz Bought a CPO 2021 GTI S over leasing an Integra 6spd. Thoughts?
Due to some strange circumstances, I recently had to buy a new car in within a week. Ended up going for a used 2021 GTI S with 20k~ miles, with warranty until 2027 (CPO + last owner bought extended). For reference, I came from a B7 A4 (FWD) with a Stage 1 tune + sway bars that I drove since new. (The Audi multitronic CVT is actually one of the best CVTs I’ve driven and has never given me an issue!)
I originally went into the Acura dealer, and by luck, they had a fully loaded A-Spec, 6 spd manual, Integra. The gizmos were very nice especially coming from a 17yo base Audi. I think the out-the-door price was 45k, or 36 month lease at $600 with $2000 down. The dealer was nice enough to let me test drive the car and run errands with it for a couple hours.
Things I liked about the Integra: - 6 spd (obvs)
- Lane assist/self driving gizmos
- Sound system is VERY nice
- Shifter feels great (snic snic)
- Clutch is very easy to modulate
- Very insulated on the highway
- Wireless carplay/wireless charging pad
Things I did not like about the Integra - The color - apex blue pearl - I might have bought it if it was white with a red interior.
- Blacked-out wheels
- Dealer installed stick-on carbon sideskirts and spoiler (10k option! wtf!)
- Wheel offset look weird
- Seats felt hard and had numb butt after just 30min of driving
- My head hits the ceiling in the back seat (5'10)
- Rear hatch rake makes it hard to see out the back
- No analog handbrake
- No rear vents
- Panels were squeaky and plasticky - it still felt like a civic.
I went over to my VW dealership that had a manual Mk8 GTI in stock. Without driving, I immediately hated the plastic bezels and lack of buttons. The shifter felt cheap (I know this is replaceable but still) and the orange peel effect on the bezels were awful. I thought I was going walk out but they had a DSG Mk7.5 on the lot (which I obviously ended up buying)
Things I liked about the GTI (/compared to the teggy) - Build quality difference was immediately noticeable. Interior just felt model tight and solid
- The seats! Bolsters were way better and not hard on the butt. Also Plaid
- I can sit in the back without killing my neck
- Rear vents
- Steering is way more predictable (Better than a A35 AMG I drove recently)
- 2021 Mk7.5 coming standard with VAQ and bigger brakes was a big plus. Brake modulation felt way better than the integra
- Way easier to throw around than the integra, felt on-par with the A35 without bone shattering suspension
- B U T T O N S
Things I don't like about the GTI (more like nitpicks) - Lack of automatic climate control (base model) I miss the illusion of 0.5 degree precision of my A4
- Does not have MIB3, but wired carplay is fine, at least my phone is always charged. I actually prefer the matte screen.
- Half powered seats is strange, but I guess lighter weight!
- There is some play in the climate control dials and are not as tight/clicky as the A4 interior
- Not as big of a trunk as the A4
- Halogen lights
- Not manual (actually more like 60/40 on this)
I paid 30k all in for the GTI. Obviously it's basically paying for brand new GTI which might throw some people off, but the Mk7 interior and looks are superior to the Mk8 in my book. The car is also mint and still had the new car smell. The warranty till 2027 was a big factor as well. As a bonus, I got all new tires (stock Pirelli P7 AS), the all season rubber mats (I was gonna buy them anyways) the boot tray cover, and those weird velcro blocks.
Obviously, I made my choice and I'm pretty sure I chose the better car. I’m just curious what others think.
Also if anyone knows how to permanently delete the unknown primary user pop-up that would be great lol

Chapter 13: Bohemian ———————————————————————————————————————
Memory transcription subject: Vekna, Venlil Investigative Journalist Date [standardized human time]: December 7th, 07:24, 2136 It’s a longer drive to the hangars than it was to the museum, mainly because of the “airfield’s” elevated position. From what I understood, this was to make it easier for show pilots to gain speed for their stunts. For us, however, it serves only as a hindrance for our Jeep to overcome.
Jeep, Jeep. Such a funny word. That’s what Chase calls his car. Well, technically, it’s the company that made his car. He explained that the name was derived from that of an ancient car that was used at the same time as those Tiger tanks. It even had a gas motor! Well, to be fair, most vehicles at that time did, but after growing up surrounded by fusion-electric engines and plasma thrusters, it was still breaking new ground for my engineering side.
I’m still brimming with excitement as we finally make it up to the airfield. I look out the window as it enters my line of vision. I’m sorely let down. Standing opposed to the grand spaceports of Venlil Prime, this place consists of a row of metal, semi-circular structures lining the side of a long, wide strip of concrete.
How plain… The data dump had said that most terran vehicles before 2047 didn’t have VTOL capabilities, so a long run of space to build sideways speed was necessary for their flight.
Function before form, I guess. Can’t complain about that. As we drive by the structures, I spot letters and numbers above the wide doors on each one. I assume they correspond to the planes inside, as I recognize a few of them. PBY-5, BF-109, YAK-15, and a few more that I didn’t care to read pass us by as we make our way down the strip of tarmac. Translators always did struggle with such naming conventions, but I’ve gotten used to it by now. Still, too many can give you a
terrible headache
. The one we come to a stop in front of, though, has a simple designation upon it; F-14. I tilt my head slightly. I don’t recall ever seeing an “F-14” on display, and if Chase had a model of it, it wasn’t one that I was allowed to touch. As we disembark from our trusty land vehicle, I have no idea what to expect.
That’s the most exciting part! As we approach a side door, Chase gives me a bit of history regarding this F-14. “This bad boy was pulled from active service after an air confrontation in the 1970s.” Chase began commenting, taking the familiar tone of museum guides the galaxy over. “The Pilot lived, his copilot didn’t, and it was inactive for the rest of the Cold War. Eventually, it got abandoned in a scrapyard for a century or so as part of the usual retirement of such craft. When the previous staff found her, she was apparently in pretty bad shape, but they managed to fix her up and get her airworthy again. She flew shows for the museum for about 20 years until the F-22s and F-45s were up and ready to go. Then it was back to the scrap heap for her. Or at least, that's what was
supposed to happen.” Chase winks at me, a human gesture meant to convey slyness or deception. Any other Venlil would have been horrified by that, but it goes without saying I’m not any other Venlil.
“I came across her a month or so after they sold her off and got pennies on the dollar!” My translator didn’t even attempt to make the currency conversion. “I’ve been keeping it here ever since. It’s in much better condition than at the scrapyard, and I intend to keep that way. I’ve made it my personal pet project to keep her ready to fly at a moment’s notice, but I haven’t had the chance to for a while. But we have time now! You wanna see?”
I don’t even need to talk to answer, my tail doing all the work for me.
I’m going to get a personal air show, of course I want to see! I can barely contain my excitement as we approach the access door. We soon reach it, Chase opening it slowly so as not to break the frostbitten hinges. It’s pitch black inside, with only the silhouette of a landing gear visible thanks to the limited morning light. It’s only when Chase flicks on the lights that I’m truly floored. In front of me stands a massive aircraft, sleek in design and wide in stature. The wings of the vehicle stretched for what must be tens of meters, with two massive jet turbine engines in the rear of the plane. Even its very aesthetic is almost predatory in nature, its elongated nose and thin physique almost reminding me of a Krakotl.
It's primitive but… brahk it, it’s beautiful! From what I can see, there are two seats in the cockpit, a thought forming in the back of my mind at that sight. Reason tells me otherwise, but…
what if I got to fly in this thing? I’m brought out of my mind by the loud thunk and the sound of liquid flowing. I look over to see Chase connecting the plane to a large metal tank.
Ah, that must be the fuel. “Fueling it up, Chase?”
“Yeah, what else? We can’t fly on an empty tank, after all!”
…We?! I nearly pass out as I realize my wildest hopes Are coming true.
I was going to get to fly in this thing!! It’s honestly hard to remember what happened between then and now as I’m being helped into the rearmost seat by Chase.
Something about safety checks, I think? Who cares?! I’M GOING TO FLY!! As I’m being strapped in, I notice something.
There are a sphekload of gauges, switches and buttons back here! I assumed they all had a purpose, but I remember Chase telling me that I wouldn’t need to press them at some point.
Thank the Herd, my translator is killing itself trying to translate all this! One thing I would have to just deal with is the seat not being built for someone with a tail, but that’s not too big a deal. If I’m remembering my physics correctly, most of the g-forces would be directed downwards, and given Venlilian skeletal structure, I should be a-okay.
Our only weak points are our knees! Eventually, Chase disconnects the fueling line once we have enough and he climbs into the cockpit, a special helmet on his head. I’m also wearing a similar helmet with a small microphone extended close to my snout. I have to keep my ears pressed against my head for it to fit, but an ear piece allows us to communicate freely. Chase opens the humongous hangar door with a remote, the entire front section of the massive building parting to admit us into the cool, Canadian air. Chase toggles something up front, as I soon hear the combustion-powered jet engines whine to life. It sounds almost like a malfunctioning fusion engine, but Chase assures me that sound is normal.
Did we say that? I can’t tell over the whining! Suddenly, I see something I didn’t even know this plane could do. The wings of the aircraft pull back like a bird before we start to taxi out to the start of the runway. The automated air traffic control system verbally informs us that we’re clear to go, with a set flight range for him to fly about within.
He extends the wings back out as he looks back at me. “Ready to have some fun, Vekna?”
OH BRAHK YES!!! I can’t help but give an excited bleat as my heart races in my chest. I’m glad that it’s from excitement this time, though Chase has given me my own inhaler in case a shortlung attack happens during the flight. I give a thumbs-up, another human gesture, as Chase grabs the throttle and pushes it all the way forward. I’m quickly pressed into the back of my seat as we quickly accelerate up to flight speed.
Okay, forgot about forward momentum! Readjusting tail! I can hear the usually whiny engines roaring through my headset, making it clear as to why I was given it in the first place despite my head shape. It only takes a few seconds before I feel the vehicle lifting up, the ground receding from view below us as I feel the landing gear pull in. This is incredible!
I’m flying! I’M FLYING!!! I can see the peaks of snowy mountains all around us as we fly higher and higher. I can’t help but giddily giggle at the thrill of this flight.
Hearing my excited chittering, it seems Chase gets an idea. “You like that, eh? Try this on for size!”
The entire planet then rolls along our plane’s central axis, and before I know it, the ground is above me. It’s a surreal sight, but before I can process it fully, I feel myself getting pushed down into my seat once again as we pitch down into a canyon.
Flying! In the air! Look at the ground speed past! I scream in joy a little as Chase masterfully maneuvers the aircraft so low to the ground I can practically
lick the snow! I was flying myself above the chasm! How can I even describe these feelings? These wonderful feelings that I would like to feel forever! They’re too great for words to possibly do justice!
Listen to yourself ramble! You’re flying!!! We continue doing tricks for an incredible while longer until we hear an alert in the cockpit. Chase looks over to the blinking red light, presses a button, and after a moment both sound and sight stop. He then says words that I never want to hear again. “Alright, looks like we’re low on fuel. I only filled her up enough for a short flight, anyways. Let’s get down and give this old bird a rest, eh?”
I don’t want to. I want to stay up here and keep flying where the realities of my existence can’t touch me! Where I am free from the bounds of the world! But, tragically, I’m not in control. I can only watch as we slow our airspeed, adjust our heading, and come in for a gentle landing. The gears screech in protest underneath us as they decelerate the plane to a stop, bringing an end to the best moment of my life.
It felt like the best kind of forever, but was …already over. We taxi back into the hangar, coming to a stop as Chase powers down the plane. It takes a while to go through the shutdown process, and I remain in the cockpit for most of it. Anything to allow me to replay the flight in my mind as many times as I can. Eventually, though, that too came to an end as Chase moved the ladder to retrieve me. I hold out my arms as he unbuckles me and lifts me out of the seat, removing my helmet lastly.
“So, how did you like all that, Vekna?”
I don’t have the words to express my enjoyment. I was in the air, away from all my problems and with one of the few people to have treated me like an actual person. I’m unfortunately reminded of my strife by this happy thought, and I come down from my flying high enough to respond.
“Y-Yeah, it was great! Can we do that again soon??”
He laughs as we sit on a bench in the hangar. I lean against him as he wipes the sweat from his brow from having cleaned and prepared the F-14 for another stint of inactivity.
“Sure, but how about we try another plane next time, yeah?”
Next time! I’m about to affirm when a loud alert sounds from Chase’s pad. He mutters something under his breath and checks what it is. Curiously, I look too. There’s a small, top-down silhouette of the airstrip in the middle with rings coming off of it. A ways away, a red dot is shown approaching. Unlike some of the other aircraft, each with their own designations above them, this one is unmarked. It isn’t heading towards us, but it is going in the direction of Vancouver. I don’t see anything particularly wrong with that, but Chase is a different story altogether. He says something about poop under his breath as he hastily stands and starts donning his winter gear once again. I’m left confused on the bench at Chase’s concern.
“Chase? What’s wrong? Why did that alert sound?”
He looks over at me as he’s getting dressed. His eyes are dilated far past their usual. Whatever he knows must be really scaring him.
What does that mean for me? “No transponder. I know what that means all too well. Black Ops”
Oh, that’s what that means for me.

Memory transcription subject: Elijah Morrisson, UN Pilot Ace Date [standardized human time]: December 7th, 05:00, 2136 I stand outside on the pad as I wait for the two bucketheads General Meiers assigned to this mission to arrive. I had already gotten the shuttle prepped for flight an hour ago, its Venlil-tech fusion engines purring like a contented cat. Though how a fusion engine can purr, I can’t begin to speculate. They didn’t have the most thrust, and were very civilian oriented, but I had to admit their lack of sound was useful for practical concealment, far outperforming the quietest craft we had that weren’t helicopters. It was a far departure from the F-55 I flew in the Satelite Wars, but that’s by design.
I kind of missed that old bird. I bet I could probably kick a rookie pilot’s ass in one if I were given the chance.
They think they’re all hotshots in their F/A-72s, pah! What was I going to do again? Oh, yeah, bitch about those good-for-nothing NCOs. I look at my watch, seeing that it’s already 05:02.
Where are they? As soon as I think that, I see the door to the pad’s gantryway open, flashing me with the blinding white fluorescent light from the airlock.
There they are! About damn time! I wave the pair down as they approach at a steady pace, careful not to slip on the ice coating the catwalk.
“Glad y’all could finally join me. Any longer and the general’d have us court-martialed!”
I receive a couple of groans from the two as they lug their bug-out bags into the cargo storage area. “Yeah, you try packing up all your shit without anyone noticing you’re going! We couldn’t even say we’re transferring even if we were asked! That secrecy takes a while.”
“I did. That ain’t no excuse for tardiness, Anderson. And what about you, Xhen? What took you so long?”
He stands quiet for a moment, looking between me and the backside of Anderson as he struggles to get his oversized bag to fit in the cramped personal cargo compartments. He soon succeeds, patting the compressed luggage pridefully before turning back to me.
“Waiting for Lieutenant Anderson, sir!”
I can’t help but laugh at that, earning me a scornful look from the now-standing lieutenant.
“
Ah hah. Ah hah hah. Let’s just get going before we’re caught and tried for treason or some other trumped-up charge.”
Xhen and I both salute our current commanding officer as we load into the shuttle. Thankfully, there are four seats up front. Anderson taking the co-pilot position and Xhen taking the co-pilot-passenger position behind him. We strap in, and I ready the shuttle for flight. Unlike the fighters I was used to flying pre-contact, this shuttle did almost everything for me including flying the damn thing, and I could still make it do that, too! Once we were firmly in the air, I could set autopilot and comfortably do whatever while in route.
Those Venlil pilots must be some spoiled sons-of-bitches. After making sure everybody is strapped in, I activate the VTOL functionality as we quickly rise above the treeline.
The two boots gripped their seats in fear.
Heh, I forgot that they didn’t have their sky-legs yet! Well, who was I to deny them their first proper Morrisson flight experience? I shove the throttle forward and switch to frontal propulsion. The shuttle lurches forward, quickly surpassing the sound barrier with a passing boom. Once we’re supercruising, I slip the shuttle into autopilot and lean back, the other two still scared stiff from our departure.
Calm down you babies, I hope that once we arrive, we won’t have to stay for long. I wanna be home in time for Christmas, dammit! But…I can’t cover up my grievances with jokes forever. Besides, I might Jinx it if I say it aloud.
“Some warning next time would be nice, Morrison!” I hear Anderson sputter next to me.
I just chuckle a little and turn my flight seat towards him. “I thought you had flight experience too, Lieutenant! What, can’t handle a little jolt?”
“That was more than a little jolt, Morrisson! If you’re going to keep flying like a crackhead, I’m going to take those controls from you and fly us all there myself!”
I chuckle at that as I prepare one of my signature Air Force quips. “Good luck with that! You can barely find your own flight stick!” At that, he gives me a side eye that could level mountains.
Mountains, maybe, but not me. “You’re lucky we’re stuck in this suicide squad together, or I’d have you dishonorably discharged for that.” Xhen snickers behind him. “I’m not- you know what? Screw you guys. I’m going to go to the back and finish my night’s rest.” He then unbuckles himself from his seat and makes his way to the back of the shuttle. I watch to see if Xhen will follow suit, and sure enough, he also yawns.
I sigh, deciding that he needs his rest too. “You sleepy, private?”
He snaps to attention, though there’s a noticeable lag to his actions. “No sir! Just recovering from the unexpected awa-”
“Just go. Only two people are required in the cockpit at all times. With how advanced this computer is, I’d count it as one. You’re dismissed.”
Xhen blinks at me in confusion. “So…I can go to sleep?”
Oh for God’s sake, these privates. “I said dismissed!”
I turn back around to face forward, hearing Xen hurriedly march into the back of the shuttle behind me.
Which leaves me alone. Again... With nothing to do but wait, my mind turns to Vekna. I don’t know why she ran, and I don’t know where she went. If Beech has her, I’m going to do what I should’ve done years ago. I’m going to complete my mission, I’m going to get some answers, and I’m going to find that damn Venlil, whether she wants me to or not.
I’m coming, Vekna, and hell nor high water's gona fuckin’ stop me. … Oh Lord, when did I get so dramatic? ———————————————————————————————————————

It's been a while since one of these footers, hasn't it? Well, that's because there's some news to share! If you followed this story in the MCP, you'd know that this is where it previously ended. But no more! In the works are two extra chapters for you all on Reddit, along with an exciting announcement or two under the last chapter! I won't spoil anything now, but I'd just like to say that I'm incredibly excited for the future of the Rouge Chronicles and the NOPCU as a whole! Thank you all for reading, and I look forward to sharing the next chapter as soon as it's complete!

2023.03.22 02:46 yuseuimi Skull merchant everything I learned, her best add ons, counter play etc
Let's start with counter play. The only games I lose is where survivors stay exposed the entire match. They pre run away, and as soon as I kick it and walk away they tap it again. Then the peopl e on the other gens pre run, stare at me, I kick, they tap. This makes it hard to down anybody at all. And gens are barely losing progress using this strategy. Because they don't touch drones.
How to counter that? Honestly you can't you just need like eruption, and brown noise generator add on. Brown noise makes it so survivors are oblivious. This is her best add on not geographical readout. Reason is because it gives survivors less time to react. And if they choose to be Injured or exposed, that less time to react because they can't hear your terror radius helps alot. This is also where like eruption and fearmonger help. Fearmonger is actually really good because sprint burst is the best exhaustion perk against sm. So if you have fearmonger plus the oblivious add on they can't react to you with a sprint burst. Dead hard as well. However if they are on comms they will just say "shes coming." Because you know swfs deny the entire concept of stealth killers.
Best add ons: brown noise, geographical readout, randomized strobes, advanced movement prediction, Loose screw, iridescent unpublished manuscript, vital targeting processor, adaptive lightning (less time to react to you). Rest are kinda niche imo.
Best skull merchant perks: Fearmonger, Call of brine, overcharge, eruption, bamboozle, brutal strength, and oppression. Please don't sleep on oppression. Having to regress 3 gens in a 3 gen scenario while giving the other people working on em. Hard skill checks is clutch.
Drone management: sometimes its better to manually deactivate drones if you are walking by them because this doesn't use a activation cooldown. Meaning you can deactivate a standing drone near you and then activate one from afar. So never activate close range drones. Just get rid of em and throw another.
Another thing to think about is getting Value out of undetectable. So if there are two gens one to your left one to your right, you wanna be somewhere in the middle so you can get to where you need to be quicker. If need be camp under a drone.
Think about if its better to hit somebody or wait for their meter to get up to one hit them. So always keep tabs on their meter.
When survivors start playing a wait till you go away and tap the gen and ignore the drone playstyle, you gotta focus more on stealth. This is where geographical readout, brown noise, undetectable add on all help. Because if they react to your terror radius they will just pre run away and stare at you to see if you commit chase or not. So you do actually have to down people. Depends. When groups start fiddling with drones thats when I know I won lmfao

2023.03.22 02:29 ResponsibleOlive8136 Where Can I Watch 'Cocaine Bear' Free Online Streaming?
Universal Pictures! Here are options for downloading or watching Cocaine Bear streaming the full movie online for free on 123movies & Reddit, including where to watch the anticipated Horror movie at home. Cocaine Bear 2023 available to stream? Is watching Cocaine Bear on Disney Plus, HBO Max, Netflix or Amazon Prime? Yes, we have found an authentic streaming option/service.
Watch Now: Cocaine Bear Online Free The film industry has no shortage of movies based on real-life events, all with varying accuracy to the events that are being adapted. From impeccably faithful biopics like the story of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. seen in Selma (2014) to looser comedic outings like the recent parody Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, films based on true stories are easily the most common and sought-after premises by studios for potential projects, as they're typically far easier to procure the rights for than an established, popular IP. It feels like every other week a new film based on real-life events hits either movie theaters or any of the many streaming services out there, but every once in a while, a film releases a trailer with the words "Based on a true story" in it that features a premise so bizarre and so absurd that it can't possibly be true.
Yet, a true story is exactly what inspired the next film from filmmaker Elizabeth Banks, Cocaine Bear (2023), which tells the very real story of, you guessed it, a black bear under the influence of cocaine. Well, to be perfectly honest, the inciting incident and namesake of the film is seemingly the only true event to be seen, originating from an event where a wild Georgian bear helped itself to a large serving of smuggled cocaine when a plane crashed in the state in 1985. The horrific and bloody rampage that the bear embarks on for the film adaptation is fictional, but it also looks like a hell of an absurd good time.
Where can you watch Cocaine Bear? Is it on Netflix? What about HBO Max? Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:
What Is the Release Date for Cocaine Bear?
Moviegoers everywhere shall be able to see a mammal with a drug addiction wreak havoc and destruction on the state of Georgia when Cocaine Bear premieres exclusively in theaters on Friday, February 24th, 2023.
Is Cocaine Bear Being Released on Streaming or in Theaters?
Audiences who wish to learn just exactly how one of nature's apex predators ingested at least a kilo of an illicit substance will have to find a theater near them as that's the place where Cocaine Bear will be available once it premieres later this upcoming February. No announcements in regard to if and when Cocaine Bear will receive a streaming release have not yet been made, but Peacock seems to be a likely streaming home for the dark comedy given it's a production of Universal Pictures.
Peacock has a limited array of content for free and two main paid subscription plans, the latter two options of which will likely be required should Cocaine Bear arrive there. The base premium subscription costs $5.99 USD per month and features Peacock's entire catalog of movies and films with limited ads. The second and slightly more expensive premium plus plan costs $9.99 USD per month and removes ads entirely outside of live events and adds the ability to download select titles for offline viewing.

Violent Night, which hit theaters on Dec. 2, became available to stream on Peacock on Jan. 20 — a little over 45 days after its theatrical release. However, other movies like Nope took more than 100 days, so it’s best to take this estimate with a grain of salt.
What Is Cocaine Bear About?
Considering the enormous amount of writing talent that swims in our worldwide creative lake it can often be surprising when, beyond documentaries, we learn of a particular tale being true. However, sometimes the best and most ludicrous stories can only be the work of reality, and Cocaine Bear is one such narrative. Of course, exact details regarding the originality of the plot are yet to be seen but, with a true story as incredible as this one, it would be fair to suggest the writers may stay true to life.
The tale of Cocaine Bear dates back to an incident in December 1985. A notorious and previously convicted drug smuggler, who also happened to be a former narcotics officer, was piloting a plane when he realized his cargo was far too heavy. In an attempt to lighten his load, he dropped a duffel bag full of cocaine out of the plane. The pilot, Andrew C. Thornton II, then decided to chase after his fallen goods but, upon attempting to open his parachute, failed and plummeted to his death below. This may already seem like a wild tale, but it is truly only the beginning. The duffel bag of cocaine, worth almost fifteen million US dollars, then fell into the hands of a 175-pound American black bear who decided to consume it. The narrative of the film is likely to follow the events of the bear who, under this incredible influence, went on a drug-fueled killing spree. The rest of the story, due to its non-fiction nature, has been well documented, however, to avoid any potential spoilers for the film it may be wise to leave the tale at that juncture.
