2023.03.22 11:17 SeafoamTrollop Why does my cat make wayyyy more mess/smell if I go out for the day or go on vacation?

I’ve noticed my cat makes a lottt more mess (and smells a lot more) whenever I’m not home. Even if I just go out for the day, and so have done the same amount of daily maintenance cleaning as usual, it always seems to be so much messier than when I’m at home all day. When I go on vacation I always get someone to come a feed and clean up after my cat and also spend time for affection/play. (I am often home for a full few days at a time due to chronic illness and so may slack on cleaning during these episodes however it never seems to get as messy or smelly)
I usually come home to litter having been kicked all over the floor and cat food smeared across the floor almost like she’s been playing with it? She has plenty of toys which is really enjoys playing with. Also my home will smell notably “catty” if I’ve been out for extended periods of time, similar to when she’s in heat and the litter tray smells stronger due to hormones.
I’m wondering if it’s a stress thing or maybe separation anxiety? And if anyone else has experienced this and if so what you do to help the situation?

2023.03.22 11:16 andreastolpeofficial A Process for Your Songwriting

A Process for Your Songwriting

Some things in life that should come with a manual, don’t. Living healthy, choosing a college major, being a good friend, choosing a spouse, and raising a child are just a few. It seems that meaningful living simply doesn’t distil well into a one-size-fits-all instruction booklet. Neither does the Smagora wardrobe I recently purchased from IKEA. Songwriting, as it seems, is similarly perplexing.
In Search of Process
I reached a point in Nashville about two years into my staff-writing career when I could go no further without process. I was frustrated with unfinished songs, washy concepts, and uninspired musical foundations. I needed steps I could identify and repeat, without reducing the art to an assembly line production. That’s when I began to see the rhyme and reason behind the approaches used by the great songwriters I collaborated with. They weren’t always aware of their process, but there were tendencies none-the-less. Their typical moves let them come up with great material and finish songs in less time. That’s when I recognized the value of the free-writing I had been doing, and when I began sifting it for the songs it contained.
When we free-write or journal, we press onto the page feelings and thoughts and descriptive language according to whatever floats past our minds. The same language happens out loud in the writing room in Nashville, where instead of free-writing as a paragraph, we free-write out loud one line at a time with imagery like ‘The fields have grown over now, years since they’ve seen the plow.’ Or we might blurt out a more abstract concept like ‘there’s nothing time hasn’t touched.’ Our verbal suggestions for lines of lyric come from the scene in which the song takes place and the message we want to express.
Our own free-writing may wander simply because we haven’t settled on a concept for a song. We’re exploring, and that makes it seem as if there is no song there. But the more we look into specific lines of our free-writing for the song concept they might suggest, the more we can see songs springing from that well of inspiration.
The Song in the Free-Writing
To begin seeing the songs within our own free-writing, I’d like to share an example of some free-writing done without a song idea in mind. The song begins to take shape only when lines are lifted from the free-writing and set in place in a section, such as a verse. The free-writing below is just a few lines written around the keyword ‘rain shower.’
Droplets burst like tiny water balloons on the deck, the wood slabs grayed from too many winters without sanding and staining. That used to be your job. I watched the drizzle paint the window pane, distorting the world like a house of mirrors. I stood staring out the kitchen window. The grass winced under the column of rainwater gushing from the gutter clinging to the roof of the house. That needs fixing too. Blurred headlights pulled into the neighbors drive.
This doesn’t seem like a song, but when I lift lines to establish a rhythm and rhyme scheme, a section of a song begins to emerge:

I watch the rain painting the window
bursting like water balloons on the deck
columns of rainwater gush from the gutters
clinging from the roof
guess they need fixing too
these are the things you used to do
the things you used to do

Or maybe a six-line section of ABCABC like this:

I watch the rain like water balloons
bursting on the deck
grayed from too many winters
The gutters cling onto the roof
gushing on the grass
there’s too much that needs fixing
too much that needs fixing

There was a lot of descriptive language in the original paragraph that was useful for building a song lyric - we just have to grab it. There’s also rhyme already within the writing, and using these ready-made rhyme pairs means we can stay true to the original language that simply felt right when we aren’t trying to write lyrics. To find rhyme within the free-writing we do, we merely need to look for matching vowel sounds, like this:

2023.03.22 11:16 antonella_272 Anyone want to do a 30 days of yoga accountability group?

Like many of you, I'm bored AF at home right now even though I'm still working full-time and am looking to get back into yoga for mental/physical health. I had a bad experience with a "fake" yoga teacher training program early this year and felt burned by the industry for a while, but I'm getting over it and REALLY miss my regular yoga practice. Hoping to do my YTT some time in the next couple of years!
I'm finding it hard to get motivated to practice regularly without scheduled studio classes and would love to practice with a group for accountability and reflection! If this already exists somewhere here, fill me in :) I'm not beginner or advanced...somewhere in the middle. I'm looking at Yoga with Adriene's 30 Days of Yoga to get started but am open to anything, really. I can sustain my own practice without guidance but love guided classes and a challenge. 30-60 minutes daily would be great. Bonus if anyone wants to combine with deeper study as well.
Wishing love and health to you all waiting out COVID-19. Let's use this time to build community, improve our health, strength, and vitality.

You can learn this at Java Training In Chennai. So, let's dive in and explore these must-know Java concepts in detail!.

10 Top Core Java Concepts:

Java is one of the most famous programming languages in the world, with millions of companies using it for everything from mobile app development to enterprise-level software development. But with so many different concepts and libraries to learn, it can take time to know where to start. In this article, we'll explore ten core Java concepts that all Java programmers need to know to write effective, efficient, and robust Java code.
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP):
Java is an object-oriented programming (OOP) language that uses objects as its fundamental building blocks. An object combines data and behavior, and Java provides several mechanisms for defining and manipulating objects in your code. Understanding OOP concepts such as classes, objects, inheritance, and polymorphism is crucial for effective Java programming.
Java Virtual Machine (JVM):
The Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is a key component of the Java platform, providing the runtime environment for Java applications. The JVM is responsible for executing Java bytecode, which is a platform-independent representation of Java code. Understanding the JVM is important for optimizing your Java code and ensuring it runs efficiently on different platforms.
Garbage Collection:
Java uses automatic memory management through a process called garbage collection. This means that Java allocates and deallocates memory for you, which helps prevent memory leaks and other memory-related errors. Understanding garbage collection is important for optimizing your Java code and avoiding performance issues.
Exception Handling:
Java provides a powerful mechanism for handling errors and exceptions in your code. Exception controls allows you to gracefully handle errors during program execution without crashing the program or causing other problems. Understanding exception handling is important for writing robust Java code to handle unexpected errors.
Collections Framework:
This Java Collections Framework is a set of classes and interfaces that provide a powerful and flexible way to store and manipulate data collections. The Collections Framework includes interfaces such as List, Set, and Map and concrete implementations such as ArrayList, HashSet, and HashMap. Understanding the Collections Framework is essential for working with data collections in Java.
Java provides a powerful mechanism for creating generic classes and methods with different data types. Generics allow you to write reusable code that can be used with any kind without sacrificing type safety. Understanding generics is important for writing flexible and reusable Java code.
Multithreading is the process of executing multiple threads of execution concurrently within a single program. Java provides built-in support for multithreading, with features such as the Thread class and the synchronized keyword. Understanding multithreading is important for writing efficient and scalable Java programs that can use modern hardware.
Java provides a powerful mechanism for adding metadata to your code through annotations. Annotations allow you to associate additional information with classes, methods, and other program elements, which tools and frameworks can use to generate code, validate code, and perform other tasks. Understanding annotations is important for working with modern Java frameworks and tools.
Input/Output (I/O):
Java provides a powerful and flexible I/O framework that allows you to read and write data to and from files, sockets, and other sources. The Java I/O framework includes classes such as FileInputStream, FileOutputStream, and Socket, as well as higher-level abstractions such as InputStreamReader and OutputStreamWriter. Understanding I/O is important for working with data in Java applications.
Java provides a powerful mechanism for examining and manipulating the structure of Java classes and objects at runtime, known as reflection.

Future Scope Of Java:

Java has been one of the most widely used programming languages for over two decades and continues to be popular. Here are some potential future developments in Java:
Java has a bright future ahead of it as it continues to adapt to meet the changing needs of developers and businesses. Additionally, you can study Python Training In Chennai to have the best job opportunities.

2023.03.22 11:15 saladkupi Niece stole my money and doesn't want to admit

Long story short i left my bag downstairs but my mom always kept my stuff in her room if ive forgotten to get my stuff. It wasnt my mom and 100% is my niece.
I went out after the stealing happened, and saw i lost my $50, maybe thay amount is not a big deal but i am a student and every dollar is obviously precious. When i got home i asked my sister, That time my sister found her action suspicious bcs she kept asking if im home and if i knew that i left my bag there. She even kept asking if i was still out.
I wanted to confront her but mind you she got an attitude, always throw tantrums. Shes 9 btw. My mom doesnt let me raise this up to her or her parents, and she said she will pay me that money. yes i care abt the money but at the same time i care abt my niece too. We are very close and i took care of her when she was a little kid. So the next day i had an idea to fake a scenario, told her i need help to get my money back because if i dont get them i will have to give back my car to the shop lol, and if she found them ill give $10 but only if its in a full amount. I could see she looks terrified. Ik my idea will led her fake a scenario too where she acted like she found it under the sofa. Turns out my idea worked out well and the scenario is exactly what i predicted. She gave me the money but it was only $30. Then i said 30 isnt enough for me to keep my car, so i still need help. Then the next day again, after i got back home, she asked if i found the money. Thats where i kinda lost it bcs shes trying to make it sound like shes genuinely concerned so that she doesnt look suspicious.
So i brought her to my room and i said this is gonna be a very calm conversation and im not mad, but i know that u did it (told her why its obvious that it was her) she didnt wanna admit and said "i would never do that, i am scared of stealing money" so i asked her to swear (cus i know kids are scared to say it when they lie) then she threw tantrum again and stormed out of the room.
My mom got mad at me for asking her, she didnt want me to do it cus shes scared the parents mjght get angry at us for accusing their child.
The reason why im posting it here, is i think i just want to know if im doing the right thing and also need some advice on how to sctually tackle this. Thanks guys

2023.03.22 11:15 Ryankinsey1 The real reason Dan won't sell to Bezos, by Chat GPT.

Dan Snyder, owner of the Washington Redskins, has once again proven that he is a petty, vindictive, and insecure man. In a recent interview, Snyder refused to sell the team to billionaire Jeff Bezos, citing Bezos' "lack of experience" in the NFL.
Of course, this is just a thinly veiled excuse for Snyder's real reason for refusing to sell: he's afraid of Bezos. Bezos is a successful businessman who has built an empire from the ground up. He's also a brilliant strategist and a ruthless competitor. Snyder knows that if he sells the team to Bezos, Bezos will be able to turn it into a winner, and Snyder will be seen as a failure.
So, instead of selling the team to the best man for the job, Snyder is going to hold on to it and continue to run it into the ground. He's going to keep making bad decisions, alienating fans, and driving players away. And he's going to do it all because he's too afraid to admit that he's not good enough.
Snyder's behavior is pathetic, but it's also a reminder that even the most powerful people can be insecure. Bezos is a billionaire who could buy and sell Snyder a dozen times over. But Snyder is so insecure that he can't even handle the thought of Bezos being involved with his team.
It's a sad state of affairs, but it's also a reminder that even the most powerful people are capable of petty, vindictive behavior. And in the case of Dan Snyder, it's the fans who are going to suffer.
Snyder's fragile ego, narcissistic personality, and severe Napoleon complex are just a few of the reasons why he's such a terrible owner. He's more interested in making headlines than winning games, and he's willing to sacrifice the team's success for his own personal gain.
The only way to get rid of Snyder is for him to sell the team. But he's not going to do that unless he's forced to. So, it's up to the fans to put pressure on him. They need to boycott games, stop buying merchandise, and make their voices heard.
If enough fans make it clear that they're tired of Snyder's incompetence, he'll finally have no choice but to sell the team. And then, maybe, the Redskins can finally start winning again.

2023.03.22 11:14 jennifer_jellyfish I’ve (26f) been unemployed for ~2yrs and I’m ready to change that. I’d like to dedicate the next few years of my life learning a practical skill while I save a little money. Is anybody after an apprentice or know of anybody who would be willing to take me on?

I got my first job at aged 10 and continued to work multiple part time jobs through high school. After yr 13 I did a year of uni but had to leave due to a physical health condition. I focused on my recovery and then continued to work full time, save money and travel internationally here and there.
I’m currently based in South-South Auckland/ Waikato but happy to commute (Own vehicle, Restricted licence, automatic)
I have no criminal convictions and can provide good references from previous employers as well as from my current volunteering position.
I’m thankful that the experiences I’ve had have allowed me to develop empathy, humility, and conviction. Sometimes life is proper shit though which for me meant a PTSD diagnosis and prolonged unemployment. I use cannabis products therapeutically (and responsibly) which means I would NOT pass a drug test.
I’ll be applying for jobs the ‘normal’ way from tomorrow; In the mean time I figured why not announce my intentions to the world (Well, quasi-local online community) and hope for the best!

2023.03.22 11:14 KingofSpain0 Leviticus 25

Leviticus 25:1-54
The Lord said to Moses at Mount Sinai, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the Lord. 3 For six years sow your fields, and for six years prune your vineyards and gather their crops. 4 But in the seventh year the land is to have a year of sabbath rest, a sabbath to the Lord. Do not sow your fields or prune your vineyards. 5 Do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the grapes of your untended vines. The land is to have a year of rest. 6 Whatever the land yields during the sabbath year will be food for you—for yourself, your male and female servants, and the hired worker and temporary resident who live among you, 7 as well as for your livestock and the wild animals in your land. Whatever the land produces may be eaten.

8 “‘Count off seven sabbath years—seven times seven years—so that the seven sabbath years amount to a period of forty-nine years. 9 Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land. 10 Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan. 11 The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines. 12 For it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat only what is taken directly from the fields.
13 “‘In this Year of Jubilee everyone is to return to their own property.
14 “‘If you sell land to any of your own people or buy land from them, do not take advantage of each other. 15 You are to buy from your own people on the basis of the number of years since the Jubilee. And they are to sell to you on the basis of the number of years left for harvesting crops. 16 When the years are many, you are to increase the price, and when the years are few, you are to decrease the price, because what is really being sold to you is the number of crops. 17 Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God. I am the Lord your God.
18 “‘Follow my decrees and be careful to obey my laws, and you will live safely in the land. 19 Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill and live there in safety. 20 You may ask, “What will we eat in the seventh year if we do not plant or harvest our crops?” 21 I will send you such a blessing in the sixth year that the land will yield enough for three years. 22 While you plant during the eighth year, you will eat from the old crop and will continue to eat from it until the harvest of the ninth year comes in.
23 “‘The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine and you reside in my land as foreigners and strangers. 24 Throughout the land that you hold as a possession, you must provide for the redemption of the land.
25 “‘If one of your fellow Israelites becomes poor and sells some of their property, their nearest relative is to come and redeem what they have sold. 26 If, however, there is no one to redeem it for them but later on they prosper and acquire sufficient means to redeem it themselves, 27 they are to determine the value for the years since they sold it and refund the balance to the one to whom they sold it; they can then go back to their own property. 28 But if they do not acquire the means to repay, what was sold will remain in the possession of the buyer until the Year of Jubilee. It will be returned in the Jubilee, and they can then go back to their property.
29 “‘Anyone who sells a house in a walled city retains the right of redemption a full year after its sale. During that time the seller may redeem it. 30 If it is not redeemed before a full year has passed, the house in the walled city shall belong permanently to the buyer and the buyer’s descendants. It is not to be returned in the Jubilee. 31 But houses in villages without walls around them are to be considered as belonging to the open country. They can be redeemed, and they are to be returned in the Jubilee.
32 “‘The Levites always have the right to redeem their houses in the Levitical towns, which they possess. 33 So the property of the Levites is redeemable—that is, a house sold in any town they hold—and is to be returned in the Jubilee, because the houses in the towns of the Levites are their property among the Israelites. 34 But the pastureland belonging to their towns must not be sold; it is their permanent possession.
35 “‘If any of your fellow Israelites become poor and are unable to support themselves among you, help them as you would a foreigner and stranger, so they can continue to live among you. 36 Do not take interest or any profit from them, but fear your God, so that they may continue to live among you. 37 You must not lend them money at interest or sell them food at a profit. 38 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.
39 “‘If any of your fellow Israelites become poor and sell themselves to you, do not make them work as slaves. 40 They are to be treated as hired workers or temporary residents among you; they are to work for you until the Year of Jubilee. 41 Then they and their children are to be released, and they will go back to their own clans and to the property of their ancestors. 42 Because the Israelites are my servants, whom I brought out of Egypt, they must not be sold as slaves. 43 Do not rule over them ruthlessly, but fear your God.
44 “‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. 46 You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.
47 “‘If a foreigner residing among you becomes rich and any of your fellow Israelites become poor and sell themselves to the foreigner or to a member of the foreigner’s clan, 48 they retain the right of redemption after they have sold themselves. One of their relatives may redeem them: 49 An uncle or a cousin or any blood relative in their clan may redeem them. Or if they prosper, they may redeem themselves. 50 They and their buyer are to count the time from the year they sold themselves up to the Year of Jubilee. The price for their release is to be based on the rate paid to a hired worker for that number of years. 51 If many years remain, they must pay for their redemption a larger share of the price paid for them. 52 If only a few years remain until the Year of Jubilee, they are to compute that and pay for their redemption accordingly. 53 They are to be treated as workers hired from year to year; you must see to it that those to whom they owe service do not rule over them ruthlessly.
54 “‘Even if someone is not redeemed in any of these ways, they and their children are to be released in the Year of Jubilee, 55 for the Israelites belong to me as servants. They are my servants, whom I brought out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

2023.03.22 11:12 saphanaexperts Third party integration with SAP connector

Third party integration with SAP connector

SAP third-party integration is the process of integrating external programmers or applications with SAP software. Several companies throughout the world use SAP, a leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. By integrating third-party software or apps with SAP, businesses can increase its capabilities beyond those that are already built-in. Examples of third-party software that can be coupled with SAP include customer relationship management (CRM), human resource management (HRM), supply chain management (SCM), and many other categories. With the use of sap interface, organizations may do away with manual data entry, improve data accuracy, and streamline procedures. SAP third-party connectors can assist businesses in strengthening their standard business processes and decision-making capabilities by providing access to real-time data and analytics.
How SAP's third-party integration functions
Via sap third-party integrations, other software systems from outside suppliers can connect to SAP systems and exchange data with them. By this interface, SAP users can take advantage of the features of other programmers while maintaining access to the essential features of their SAP system.
There are various methods for integrating external systems with SAP, including:
Web Services: A subcategory of APIs called Web Services enables intersystem communication using defined protocols like XML and SOAP. Web Services can be used to exchange data between SAP and outside applications.
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI): EDI is a method of sending business documents electronically across different systems. SAP can be connected to external systems by using EDI, which permits the interchange of data in a specified format.
Application Programming Interfaces (APIs): APIs facilitate inter-system communication. APIs make it possible for outside programmers to integrate with SAP and exchange data between the two systems.
Middleware: that makes it easier for different systems to communicate with one another. The usage of middleware can make it easier for data to be transferred between SAP and other software programmers.
File Transfer: To transfer data between SAP and external systems, file transfer protocols like FTP, SFTP, or HTTPS can be utilized. Excel, XML, and CSV are just a few of the file formats that can be exchanged across systems.
For SAP integration, software technical expertise is frequently needed, and the process can vary based on the specific systems being merged. But, once the connection is made, data can transfer seamlessly between SAP and other systems, boosting productivity and reducing the need for human data entry.
Advantage of third party Integration:
The advantages of third-party integration are numerous. Firstly, it allows organizations to leverage the best-of-breed solutions available in the market, thereby improving their overall system performance. Secondly, it enables organizations to automate business processes and reduce manual effort, saving time and improving efficiency. Thirdly, it enhances data quality by ensuring that data is consistent across all systems, reducing errors and increasing accuracy. Fourthly, it enables organizations to adapt quickly to changing business requirements and market conditions, as they can easily integrate new systems or applications as needed. Finally, it reduces the total cost of ownership by enabling organizations to use existing systems and applications, avoiding the need to invest in new systems or applications. Overall, third-party integration is essential for organizations looking to optimize their operations and stay competitive in today's rapidly evolving business landscape.
In conclusion:
SAP integration with third-party systems is essential for organizations to unlock the full potential of SAP. SAP connector provides a reliable and secure connection between SAP and other systems, enabling seamless data exchange and communication between systems. With SAP connector, organizations can streamline their operations, minimize manual effort, and improve data quality, enabling them to focus on core business operations.

2023.03.22 11:10 Houndguy Talking about chatGPT, UBI and jobs....from something I wrote a couple of months ago

Back in January, when the ChatGPT was a breaking story....I saw the future. For the first time ever I realized that my job could be replaced by a machine. I work as an insurance underwriteagent for a major company where I've also been a trainer.
I felt like that guy that makes horseshoes watching the first car come bumping and grinding over a hill.
Since everything is interrelated, we really need to start talking about it the future now. https://citymouseintheboondocks.blogspot.com/2023/01/we-gotta-talk-about-bruno-technology.html

2023.03.22 11:10 Remarkable_Bison_847 Graphic Designer, am I wrong here?

After 6 months of looking for a new job opportunity as a Graphic Designer, of doing “free exercises” and being ghosted, today I received criticism from a company I applied for cause the artwork I provided wasn’t perfect. They criticized me not editing the proper uniforms on the people showing in the artwork and complained I didn’t dedicate more time to it to make it perfect. We didn’t even have an interview yet, so this was my reply. Am I wrong? Cause I fear they might badmouth me with other companies as they are not a small business.
"I'm sorry to hear that i did not pass and although I always welcome constructive feedback, I would like to point out something to whomever is your hiring manager to make things very clear.
I used the mood board provided as a reference. I can in fact edit the uniforms, I have done it in the past, I have work to prove that. I did not invest more time into the exercise for a very simple reason: this was an exercise.
It was done for free, during the few chunks of free time I had available in one of our busiest week at my office.
If your hiring manager expected a fully finished, ready to be published artwork with full attention to detail and more time dedicated to it, not only I would have to invest more, I would have charged for it. Designers in this industry are always requested to do exercises beyond what we show in our portfolio, it is always done at our expense in our own free time.
Although I have never had an issue with delivering these requested artworks, it was always done after an interview first. I'm not sure about what the other designers might think, but I tend to not give my best for free.
Thank you for the opportunity, I hope you have a lovely day."
Am I wrong? I’m just fed up of doing stuff for free for nothing.

2023.03.22 11:09 KXOPH MAX changes. Everyone gets one nerf and NC gets two!

Nerf is a bad idea for game development!

You know, each game has its own characteristics, has its own calling card. So here's the MAX class, one of those calling cards of Planetside.
It is very interesting that the developers do this. You know, personally, I didn’t have any complaints during this time when I went to the MAX class.
I didn't have any difficulties in playing against them, maybe the newcomers had difficulties, but I wouldn't say that it's really that bad. For the last half a year, I have not played this class at all. Because he has no upgrades, he is not developed, and now he is being nerfed (And my faction is being nerfed twice, again) What can I say now I will not play for him at all, thanks!
During the entire existence of the game, our MAKS were nerfed more than 6 times, while others were only subjected to buffs (in particular, they improved the already cool and long-range weapons). Now I will even stop repairing the allied MAKS.
MAKS is the hallmark of Planetside. Not in every game you can find something like this, and instead of developing the idea of an exoskeleton, giving players more opportunities to counteract them, you decided to just nerf them. For example:
Add a unique light assault Rocket rifle for each faction that could get on MAX's nerves.
Add faction counterparts to the Emissary, as this is the weapon that was added as a counter to MAX along with the Archer.
In the end, whatever you nerf, players simply stop using.

The shotgun is a terrible idea for a faction weapon!

In general, the whole Planetside turned into a series of nerfs - buff - nerf nerf - buff - nerf nerf...
Absolutely no development, constant cutting.
As it was with our Gauss Saw, it's a great idea, I'll tell you, to take and cut his distinctive feature.
Why then increase the damage and cut down on the accuracy and rate of fire of the Gauss Saw S? Oh yes, because similar weapons of other factions are less rapid-fire compared to the standard ones.
That's just the idea of this weapon on the release, just consisted of giving the factions a different weapon different from the standard one. For VS and TR it's slower and more stable, and for NC it's faster with less damage, it was a great weapon! Not requiring your "improvements", what's the use of them if you only made it worse. Why couldn't they just remake them, make them faster fire, more accurate with a damage model of 167max and 143-112min
And now our shotguns are being nerfed (again), along with the nerf of the entire class.
Don't you understand yet? Shotguns are the most STUPID faction weapon idea a game designer could ever come up with. (sorry for the emotions)
You will never be able to balance them, I repeat NEVER!
So why don't you change their design?
Make it a rail weapon like the TR and VS weapons, so that it requires more control from the player over shooting.
Just for example:
NCM1 Scattercannon 3 barrel, how about:
Fire Rate - 350 RPM
Damage - 167 / 10m 143 / 65m
Amunition - 30/180
Reload Speed - 2.5
Fire Modes - 3x Burst
With the ability to expand the store or maybe better ammunition Sabot ...?
AF-23 Grinder, 2 barrels, how about:
Fire Rate - 250 RPM
Damage - 125 / 10m 112 / 50m
Amunition - 50/200
Pellet Count - 2 / 1.50
Reload Speed - 3
Fire Modes - Semi-Automatic
Here you can also install the extension of the store, or another type of ammunition ...
Note! It was not for nothing that I pointed to two trunks. How about making the shooting mode the same as the NS-357 IA. Thus, the uniqueness of the NC weapons will be preserved and the large store will not seem so formidable
AF-41 Hacksaw, four barrels, full automatic:
Fire Rate - 400 RPM
Damage - 143 / 10m 112 / 60m
Amunition - 40/180
Reload Speed - 2
Fire Modes - Automatic
A simple extension of the clip, I think, will suffice here.
AF-34 Mattock:
Fire Rate - 300 RPM
Damage - 167 / 15m 143 / 75m
Amunition - 20/120
Reload Speed - 2.25
Fire Modes - Semi-Automatic
Expansion Store or Ammunition Disruptor.
Offer your ideas, I think you can come up with a lot of interesting things, much more interesting than shotguns. TR and VS always cried about how dishonest that we have such OP MAX, well, I think if we will have no reason to cry under equal conditions for fighting at distances.

2023.03.22 11:08 suep222 Accusations/mental illness F34 and M36

Myself (34F) and my husband (36M) are married 4 years and together about 20 (we split in the early days and dated other people and got back together) we have 2 kids (5 and 6).
Husband, let's call him Ben. Ben didn't have a great childhood and also has undiagnosed GAD and probably OCD or ADHD
5 years ago Ben developed a delusion that I am cheating on him. This started small but it grew and grew. I would try my best to reassure him and clear away any of the ‘evidence’ he had, eg why I looked up certain things on my google, why I shaved my legs before I went to work (I work in a residential home with young people and my shifts include sleepovers) but there was also things i couldn't ‘prove ‘ to him, like why im online at the same time the man, he thinks I'm cheating with is online, or snapchat accounts he believed I created to talk to other people (which i haven't, I have set up Snapchat in the past but solely for the kids to mess with the filters) or a random number on my notepad that i deleted, I honeslty cant remember. Anyway the list goes on and on. It became so bad he would track me, use hidden voice recorders in my bag going to work ( he believed I brought someone to my job to have sex when the service users were sleeping! ) he hacked into my Google account, backed up my phone to his email, and during his episodes he would constantly accuse me and ask me questions. All this while working and having 2 very young kids was beyond exhausting.
In saying that, he wasn't constantly like this, he would have episodes that could last 2 days to 4 weeks or more. It escalated one night and he went to the hospital and got seen by a psychiatrist and put on antipsychotics and SSRI’s . He was stable for a short while and then it returned. Fast forward to now, I kicked him out as this was the longest and most heightened and aggressive episode to date and I couldn't take much more, also the kids are bit older now and noticing things, like him shouting at mammy or him being so preoccupied with trying to find ‘evidence’ on me etc. He is currently in a homeless shelter and I had to leave my job temporarily as I have nobody to mind the kids while on sleepovers, so I am only receiving social welfare(very little)
So, I came here as I am so confused, beyond devastated and angry and at a loss. I am confused as deep down I know he is mentally unwell and I should be showing him empathy and giving him space to heal. I love him with all my heart and sole. But also to have your husband not trust you for this long and all his behaviour to date (he said some VERY VERY nasty things to me) I don't know if I can take him back and withstand more of it. But he is trying to help himself by taking medication and therapy. Anyone experience something similar or anyone with advice, I'm at rock bottom here!
To add if anyone is thinking it, No I haven't cheated at all, I have not texted or contacted or met anyone that he doesn't know about!
TLDR; Husband is mentally ill, however I don't think I can take any more of his accusations. But I truly love him and so deeply confused and hurt.
