Is it possible to make a creator account if my country is unsupported? Like it doesn't show up at all in the dropdown selection when it says to pick your country. How can I go around this?
how did you get around this if you're from an unsupported country?

5. Coding team co-founder. Was named co-founder after enrolling in the Astro Pi contest. Self taught Python (with certificate from the University of Helsinki) for this project).
6. Class president and then prefect during all years of high school. It's funny because I went to 3+ different high schools, was elected class president at all of them. I mentioned my duties as class president (organizing sport comeptitions, arranging exam schedules...)
7. Eldest sister. As the first child of a monoparental family, I spent my summers and most evenings taking care of my sisters, cooking or tidying up the house. I thought it was something I should put in the commonapp because it consumed my summers and I couldn't attend many of the contests I wanted to go to.
8. Dance. Competition dancer (gymnastics and ballroom dances) until 11th grade (danced normally but without the competition hours because of my studies). I have been dancing since I'm 6 years old, won 2 silver metals in a big city in my country.

4. Mathletics: 1st place in school, 6th place in Europe (I spent 52 hours in a single week doing this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT)

Letters of Recommendation
Environmentals teacher: good, but I don't expect it to be great. His last referees have gotten into oxford and UCL and really good colleges, so it will definitely not hurt. We have an amazing relationship.
Physics teachetutor: He is my teacher, just not the physics one. I sneaked into his lessons anyway because he is genuinely the best teacher ever. I'm sure he wrote an amazing LOR.
English teacher: I read the letter, it's comedic, mentions me as bubbly and genuine and talks about me in a less academic light (still mentions my work ethic with examples, etc), which I guess is a good combination with a more formal letter.
Interviews
Duke interview: He was Spanish but he hated biology. It was fun and very very relatable when we talked about anything other than my major. Overall I think he thinks I'm not a fit for Duke, but I liked him and I'd love to go there.
Northwestern: the first and best interview so far. He told me I'm the type of students Northwestern wants, that he'll do anything possible for me to get in, and told me to continue with my current path in life. Very encouraging and now I'm praying to get in because I love Northwestern.
Princeton: The interviewer cancelled on me TWICE and then finally intervewed me. Very sweet man, had many things to talk about but I don't think the interview will have a negative or positive impact on my application. I think it was very neutral.
Essays
Maaaaaan I don't know. I don't like my essays but they made my abusive mom angry so HEY that's a good sign. I tried my best to show how much I love each university and how I see myself there as a student. I hope the feeling is reciprocal. I am often called a good writer but I don't think I would stand out from a really good applicant pool because of my prose.

Additional Information:
I am losing hope but as a test optional international seeking full aid, I shouldn't have had any hope to begin with. I am honestly looking for a miracle right now. I am blaming my results on my need for money, but maybe the fault lies somewhere else. It's not like I can do anything to change the outcome now, but if you see a mistake please point it out so other internationals seeking full aid don't make the same mistake.

I was in a duo queue and my duo says he shot the wingman with a sheriff THREE TIMES and it survived. I personally have shot it twice with a sheriff and was surprised when it survived that but more than 150 health is legitimately ridiculous. I also saw a gekko ult get gunned down for the first time and asked our sage how many shots it took and she said six. I get the ult having a decent amount of health but it’s so fast and the wiggly movement is unpredictable. I’m way less concerned about the ult as compared to the wingman though like does it actually have more than 150 health? That’s just absurd. Does it even have a headshot hitbox or do I actually have to put four bullets from a sheriff into it to drop it?

TLDR; My toxic 52h/week with 20+ hours shifts workplace is actively traumatizing me. I have food, housing and utilities covered. I just want to quit so I can focus on building skills to change careers. Is this smart?
Hey guys. Please help me with this. I've been struggling with this. I work in healthcare as a junior doctor. I had a greater than 1 year career gap after graduation and was surprised to be hired to the place I'm currently working as I felt unemployable. It's a dead end job with no progression because I can't pass the exams needed. Some background this is the same hospital where I worked during my graduation.
After a few months of trauma-therapy, about over a year of inner child work, and I've finally discovered why I'm stuck acedemically/professionally. Aside from my cognitive weaknesses this line of work is associated with alot of trauma for me (something I just uncovered in therapy). I've decided I'm ready to change careers. I never had the chance to work through what I liked during my early days so I don't know what would work for me and I want to give myself time to discover and learn so I can actually build a career for myself but I understand that it isn't realistically possible. I found a master's programme that really interested me and will atleast be able to provide me with a stable, well-paying, 9 to 5 if nothing else. In my country pays are shit and no decent jobs unless you have a masters atleast. I need to study for GRE and get a good score if I'm to get in. I need time and low stress in order to be able to manage by executive dysfunction enough to study and with my current job I haven't been able to at all and the entrance test is in two months.
My last shift I had an even more traumatizing experience at work. A new supervisor, in a gathering of about 15 colleagues and students proceeded to call me out regarding my decisions and assessments for appropriately 20 mins in front of the patient's family it wasn't even formal calling out but just literally shit talking me. My senior didn't assess the patient like they had to. (I'm very poor knowledge-wise and haven't been able to cope with it to this day but work hard so am considered a decent worker). They said someone complimented me and I guess they were trying to judge if it was warranted. "you don't know how to do this!?" "you've probably never done this before, have you?" "don't lie to me" " no way she did this" " asks me a question and I reply to the best of my shit knowledge proceeds to make fun of my answer" "where do you think youre going come back here" "don't stand over there stand infront of me" "is your stethoscope old? What brand is it? (implying I'm using a shit one" " laughs I asked you to take it from me why are you coming here?" " referring to group she isn't listening is she?" "looks like you've never done this before" "you need to study" you get the gist. On a sad side note: You know how we're always taking about how our trauma symptoms are defences in childhood I actually experienced it play out in real time when this happened and lol I believe it now. If it wasn't for dissociation I don't know how I would've gone on through the day.
I'm tired. So done. A part of me says just quit immediately and start studying for your masters and focus on building skills for a job. Another part says to not quit until you have another job lined up but the response to that is you've been trying to do this for a while just accept that you're not capable of building skills while also working here with all the trauma work and symptom management you have to do in general and also because of your job so can't build skills and manage symptoms and work and also apply to new places like today hustling worker. I really want this masters and I really want an engaging fruitful career. I'm afraid if I quit ill end up back to the state I was in during my career gap (super suicidal literally the worse mental space I've been in) but another part says you're not the same person anymore. 1 of my two primary abusers doesn't live with me anymore and I have much better symptom control. BUT another part says you'll loose your income and so your super expensive trauma therapist approximately 30% of my salary went into trauma therapy but the results are incredible so I feel it was totally worth it and alot of my salary goes into what I call cptsd-tax. The reply is well you can get into freelance work.
Anyways I'm so unsure and my mind feels like it'll explode. Thoughts? After crying and feeling like shit all day some parts of me are beginning to feel resentful towards me that I keep putting myself in this situation. I'm not in crisis-mode that much I can tell and I'm not fleeing from process which means I'm not in a flight or fight state either. I want to take the risk and quit but I feel like I'm yearning for validation in this decision. As I type this I'm hoping everyone says yeah go quit ASAP but I know logically that won't be the case. I'm so confused but also feel a little certainty that even if I did quit I'd make it somehow. Let me know what you think I'm desperate for support.

Air Force Vet here first time on REDDIT. Diagnosed with sciatic nerve pain in right leg from bulging disc at l4/l5 in 2017. Have 1 in-service medical record for low back pain radiating to right leg 2007. Was told to take Motrin. Separated Sep 2007. Saw VA examiner Oct 2008 and detailed monthly pain episodes and pointed to 2007 in-service record (all recorded in exam notes). Exam doc said he could find no in-service record which is clearly false. Never saw these exam notes until 2022. Trusted VA decision back then. Filed an initial claim for service connection in 2018 but was denied due to chronicity and doc said gap in records from in-service 2007 to 2015. I didn’t have many records between those dates because I would just treat at home with Motrin. Provided that info in a lay statement. Also, he missed the 2008 exam notes. I did not have additional evidence so I sat on it. Met with a VSO in 2022 she immediately located that 2008 exam and said it was the additional evidence needed. I also located 2012 doc visit notes for 3 week episode of low back pain to right hip. I also obtained an independent medical opinion from a local specialist. NOT a va chop shop, an actual specialist who had never done a va opinion prior. VSO provided a sample for writing a nexus and he agreed to write it after doing an exam and reviewing my records he agreed it was more likely than not service connected. Also, I was afraid to see VA for exam since the last two were failures and she said I could see the specialist and ask if he would do the DBQ. He again agreed so I submitted a supplemental claim in 2022 pointing to 2008 VA exam error and notes detailing chronic pain, also I submitted my IMO and DBQ from a highly trained specialist that deals specifically with lower back spinal disc issues. The VA attempted to schedule a VA exam but I stated I already submitted a DBQ. They proceeded to request a VA records review only IMO. The VA IMO was even worse than any previous VA exam. The VA IMO examiner said there was no in-service record which the VA has already acknowledged there is and they proceeded to say that there was a 10-15 year gap between service and medical records which is clearly false. They did not look at any of the evidence I submitted. None of it is listed in their IMO as items reviewed as part of their opinion. The 2008 VA exam, the 2012 medical records, or even the 2007 in-service record previously submitted and acknowledged by the VA are not listed in the VA IMO. The VA denied based on this insufficient opinion and referenced no chronicity but did not reference any of my supplemental claim documents. They ignored all my documents and even said their VA IMO which was a general med doc was what they were relying on for their decision and the 2018 exam. How can they all ignore the evidence? How can they weigh their gen med opinion higher than a specialist? How can they not discount in any way the additional evidence I submitted as insufficient or not valuable and just ignore it altogether? Lay statements, medical records, the 2008 va exam, my specialist IMO and DBQ all just ignored? My VSO is not good unfortunately I had to do all of the narratives and write ups myself. Then they submitted old documents and missed others like scientific evidence I had obtained. Now they won’t help me at all. Refuse to return my calls. I’m on my own and need help. I requested a higher level review but I’m afraid they’ll just keep ignoring the evidence. They list it in the documents received and that is the only reference to any of the evidence I submitted. HELP! Feel like I need an attorney to punch holes in all these denials. Now I see now why folks hire attorneys! It seems so obvious to me but maybe I’m missing something. Seems like most attorneys only want to help people who already have service connection though. I would like legitimate representation. If the VA would provide logical rational that would be one thing but this is something different entirely. I’m in Huntsville Alabama if that helps with comments. Thanks in advance for any advice!

As the title says, I'm apart of a group of 3 or 4 people who are completely new to the game. Haven't watched any videos, read any guides, 100% fresh clean slates. Away from home at the moment, but in a handful of weeks we'll be back and wanting to play.
Are there any groups/people out there who'd like to take us in for a game or few to show us the ropes? Or should we watch some video-guides and pilot a sub on our own for our first time? Or even better, just install the game and load straight into a sub with NO pre-information? We're not even sure how many people are needed to reasonably utilize a boat, how the AI (or.. assistants? idk) work, or even what classes are required (besides captain I guess.) We're not looking for spoilers or anything, just general guidance to get started (if that's even recommended).

Despite that, one of the hot issues in practice is still how to effectively develop and maintain complex systems from various aspects, particularly when software components are crucial for addressing declared system goals, and their successful operation. It seems that nowadays we have great theoretical potentials for application of new and more effective approaches in S3E. However, it is more likely that real deployment of such approaches in industry practice is far behind their theoretical potentials.

The main goal of Track 5 is to address open questions and real potentials for various applications of modern approaches and technologies in S3E so as to develop and implement effective software services in a support of information management and system engineering. We intend to address interdisciplinary character of a set of theories, methodologies, processes, architectures, and technologies in disciplines such as: Software Engineering Methods, Techniques, and Technologies, Cyber-Physical Systems, Lean and Agile Software Development, Design of Multimedia and Interaction Systems, Model Driven Approaches in System Development, Development of Effective Software Services and Intelligent Systems, as well as applications in various problem domains. The S3E track emphasizes the issues relevant to developing and maintaining software systems that behave reliably, efficiently and effectively. This track investigates both established traditional approaches and modern emerging approaches to large software production and evolution.

For decades, it is still an open question in software industry, how to provide fast and effective software process and software services, and how to come to the software systems, embedded systems, autonomous systems, or cyber-physical systems that will address the open issue of supporting information management process in many, particularly complex organization systems. Even more, it is a hot issue how to provide a synergy between systems in common and software services as mandatory component of each modern organization, particularly in terms of IoT, Big Data, and Industry 4.0 paradigms.

In recent years, we are the witnesses of great movements in the area of software, system and service engineering (S3E). Such movements are both of technological and methodological nature. By this, today we have a huge selection of various technologies, tools, and methods in S3E as a discipline that helps in a support of the whole information life cycle in organization systems. Despite that, one of the hot issues in practice is still how to effectively develop and maintain complex systems from various aspects, particularly when software components are crucial for addressing declared system goals, and their successful operation. It seems that nowadays we have great theoretical potentials for application of new and more effective approaches in S3E. However, it is more likely that real deployment of such approaches in industry practice is far behind their theoretical potentials.

The main goal of Track 5 is to address open questions and real potentials for various applications of modern approaches and technologies in S3E so as to develop and implement effective software services in a support of information management and system engineering. We intend to address interdisciplinary character of a set of theories, methodologies, processes, architectures, and technologies in disciplines such as: Software Engineering Methods, Techniques, and Technologies, Cyber-Physical Systems, Lean and Agile Software Development, Design of Multimedia and Interaction Systems, Model Driven Approaches in System Development, Development of Effective Software Services and Intelligent Systems, as well as applications in various problem domains. I talked about this as it happened a while back. So, I attend grad school online. However, for one portion of the program, we had to attend the university physically for training one week. I did this back in July. We met in a classroom for lecture time and then the professor grouped us up. I was in a group of 4 and she handed us a prompt which we were to use as our intake form and think of appropriate questions. While I can't recall the exact wording of the prompt, it said something like "Ben and Kerry are 21 years old and have been fighting a lot lately to the extent they're questioning their relationship." So some questions we came up with immediately were how long they've been dating, how often they fight, etc. Since no one asked it, I decided to break the ice and say, given the context, it is appropriate to ask them if they were sexually active. Well, Karen said that nothing in the prompt said they were married. I did the confused dog head tilt at her and asked what that had to do with anything. Her reply? "I can't ask them a question like that; I'm a Christian." She nearly derailed the assignment but we got it done.
The following day, the professor dismissed us for our lunch break after the morning lecture and I was talking with some of the students. Karen was sitting a couple chairs down from me and we were talking about our parents as examples (good or bad) of relationship models. I mentioned that my parents were very conservative growing up and I didn't even get to my next thought before Karen pounded the table and angrily asked "what's wrong with that?!" Before getting up and walking away from the table for a moment. That was honestly just an introductory statement, regarding my parents being conservative. The hilarious irony is that she didn't hear the rest of it which involved me speaking positively of my parents for being a good model of an equal relationship. Like, they both worked and took care of the house.
Fast forward to the class I'm taking now and I find out Karen is also in it. I saw a discussion post from her and she explicitly mentioned that she's planning to become a Christian counselor. Which, considering my experience with her, is one of the least surprising developments.
Christian or otherwise, she is, ostensibly, going to be providing counseling services to people.
And she:
Has indicated that she would not be able to provide counseling services to a sexually active unmarried couple.
Presumably lives under the impression that unambiguous conservatives like her are so severely persecuted that she assumes someone mentioning a person is conservative is/will be doing so in strictly negative terms.
I'm not trying to be judgemental, but holy fuck, this woman should NOT be a therapist. To be certain, I do think conservatives and Christians CAN be good therapists but you have to take yourself out of the equation entirely in order to provide effective counseling services.
There are already too many Christian counselors as it is in my opinion and, from what I have discovered by the people in my program, there are going to be quite a few more. And, I cannot stress this enough, I attend a public university.
I do take some solace in that they'll be licensed, so they'll be accountable to a licensing board. In theory, at least.

I was just listening to episode 239 of LibSyn's podcast "The Feed" (which I'd recommend to all podcasters) and Elsie (one of the hosts) says these exact words:

There is no “one way” to promote your show on social and immediately get downloads. Like, there’s no app and there’s no service that is going to get you listeners out there.

This happens at around the 17:01 mark, but you're going to want to listen in from around the 15-minute mark to get the fuller context.
Elsie has a long history of podcasting and works alongside podcasters at LibSyn so she knows what she's talking about here. It also echoes a lot of the advice shared here and in lots of different corners of the internet related to promoting created content. It also answers a lot of the common questions here, in other subreddits, and the many, many Discord/Slack/whatever groups about podcasting and promoting podcasts.
Elsie then goes on to say:

Here’s my call to action to all of you, and something I said in the presentation: what you DO need to do is when you share your episode on social, I want you to do what you are asking them to do. I want you to go and press the button, press the link, tap on whatever it is that you ask them to do and then see what happens.
How hard is it? What’s your workflow? What problems do you see? Can you immediately listen to the show? Where’s the player? Is there a player? Did something pop up? If you tapped on an app that you didn’t have on your phone, what happens then? Have you done that homework?
Because the thing is, it doesn’t matter how easy it is to use a service that automatically crosses over to social if the link or the post is not helpful to actually getting somebody to listen to your episode.

She then goes on further, but I'll leave it as an exercise for you all to listen in to what she's saying.
Some excellent knowledge drops in this episode, and some of what she says requires us to do the tough work (rather than "post a link; get downloads") to figure out some stuff. Just thought it was a good idea that was worth sharing.

Not going to write an autobiography here but basically I have had a lot of health issues and social misfortunes in my life which made me grow up slowly and massively delayed my career and social development. I'm now in my late 30's after well more than a decade of investing a lot of the little money I had and a fair bit of the time I had into a social hobby that provided me with a (loosely knit) community and experiences of triumph. I had unrealistic dreams of mastering my hobby (language learning) on virtually unseen levels although deep inside I always knew that the time would not come because the effort was not worth the reward for me. So basically I have made very inconsistent or sometimes no progress during the last 5-7 years because I have not really had a plan other than showing up to classes.
I'm now enrolled in a respectable degree program (largely unrelated to above mentioned hobby) and after having dropped out several times I'm now at a point where the leverage seems to be on my side; I have accumulated so many credits and made connections to the extent where graduation seems semi-inevitable if I'm willing to put up with the hours, some difficult people and awkward situations. For me this is absolutely massive and I will also apply for a master's program later on while I'm simultaneously anxious about my age relative to my experience costing me dearly, which makes me wonder if my effort is in vain. My professional goals though are fairly reasonable in the sense that I'm into the helping professions, where employment is usually guaranteed on some level.
After all the time I spent in my hobby of choice I'm now considering the move of greatly downshifting on that front and switching to martial arts or doubling down on professional qualifications as I know that I can put in two years worth of college work in one. Ever since I was a kid I have wanted to be athletic and as I'm nearing middle-age I also want to be seen as a safe haven, protector and not waste what remains of my youth physically speaking. I've been heavily into bodybuilding for most of my adult life and have largely maxxed out. I have made brief ventures into combat sports and took dancing for six years but my dancing barely improved in that time and I found martial arts to be much easier although far more riddled with conflict and burly, crass type of people.
Obviously for me the big question is how am I going to justify letting my old hobbies slip through my fingers and presumably forget a lot of the stuff I picked up? I have come up with some of my own answers, which I'm not going to reveal yet but would be keen to see yours.

He was fully proficient in English and did not request slides nor did I offer. I checked back and he still shows 0 minutes on Cambly. A couple weeks back my wife and I were talking about our formative teenage years. We had fun reminiscing about the dumb and the good, and it somehow came up that as nerdy and geeky as it is, one of my fondest memories from high school was spending months worth of DKP to be the first in my guild to get the T6 chest piece and the mace from Illidan in the same night. I explained to her how exhilarating it was to get that Illidan kill and how cool it was to go back to Orgrimmar and stand on top of that small building (you remember the one) and have dozens of people promptly gather around me to check out a full T6 shaman - something very rare on our realm at the time.
As I was further getting into things like how much coordination it took to clear Hyjal and BT, how we organized raid nights around school/work, what my duties as an officer and lead healer were, a wave of nostalgia and longing for those days took over me. While I haven't played since not long after the launch of Wrath due to life getting busier, I had a sudden urge to jump back into the game.
Sadly, I gave my account to a guild mate around 2009, so I couldn't recover my beloved troll shaman. As I didn't really expect to still have him, so after a moment of silence honoring Verdox, I went ahead and made a new account, bought Dragonflight and I jumped right back into the game. Here's where I'd appreciate some advice on class and role selection.
Onto the questions
So with a big dumb smile on my face I watched all the trailers, listened to lore videos for a couple weeks during my commute to work and made a brand new character (this time Ally; I do not like the new Orgrimmar and Sylvanas. I miss old Durotar, Barrens and Thrall already).
In the past, my main was Shaman. Restoration in raid, Elemental in arenas and battlegrounds. I loved that guy. Chain heal, chain lightning, ghost wolf, MANA TIDE saving the day more times than I can count. My alt was combat rogue, and while I couldn't utilize him raids, unless we had the rare alt night when they didn't need me healing, I liked him a lot in easier content; Kael'thas has died to my maces many times.
Today though I'm having some trouble commiting to a class. My partner in 2v2s and one of my best guildies was a frost mage, so started there (always wanted to play one, I love arcane magic lore). I leveled up my Draenei mage and I really liked it, but being a busy dad with 2 kids and a demanding job with long hours at times, I have concerns about being able to get into groups as a dps. Then again, I'm not convinced I have the extra time I need to put into learning all the dungeon routes to be an effective tank, so I once again may turn to healing. I have leveled a holy paladin and a holy priest: pally feels very nice, though AOE is a bit lacking, while the priest in general feels a little bit anemic in comparison, but it still plays just fine.
However, I'm very much concerned about the added stress of healing (or tanking). I'm an engineering manager in highly specialized field, meaning a buttload of stress I need to manage on a day to day basis. WoW for me this time around is a source of relaxation at the end of the day, or during a long pipe smoking session on the weekends. As such, even if I save queuing times by not playing dps, I have some reservations about playing heals due to the toll it may take on my mental health. Am I overthinking this? Should I stick with my mage or should I invest in a more sought after role? I'd appreciate y'all's thoughts on this. Thanks!

I wanted to share my journey with you all about searching for the right job and finding passion in life. I'm sure many of you can relate to the struggle of having too many interests and changing your mind about what you want to do each day. It can be overwhelming and leave us feeling lost and uncertain about our future.
For a long time, I struggled to find my calling. I bounced from job to job, never feeling quite satisfied or fulfilled. I tried everything from IT to teaching, but nothing seemed to stick. It wasn't until I took some time to reflect on my passions and values that I began to make progress.
I started by making a list of all the things that bring me joy, whether it be painting, designing, or volunteering. Then, I examined my values and what I wanted to contribute to the world. For me, it was important to have a career that made a positive impact on others.
With these insights in mind, I began researching different careers that aligned with my passions and values. I talked to people in those fields and asked for advice on how to break in. I also volunteered and took classes to gain more experience.
It wasn't an easy journey, and I still struggle with finding balance between money and happiness. But I've learned that it's okay to change my mind and try new things. It's also important to prioritize self-care and take breaks when needed.
I know that many of us INFPs have a variety of interests, and it can be difficult to choose just one thing. But I encourage you to take the time to reflect on your passions and values, and explore different options. Talk to others, volunteer, and gain experience. And remember, it's okay to change your mind and take a different path.

I'm planning to skip nahida and zhongli and everyone else until Venti reruns again. I have c0 and I've been saving since ayato's banner, now at 63 pulls. I pulled aqua simulacra for him and I really want his c4 where he gets feathers around him when he picks up an elemental particle. I love venti, he was my first limited character and I'm trying to not slip into the meta hype train and focus on the character I love most. I can 33 star at best which is good enough for me.
