I recently wanted to make a 1.7.10 server so I made a modpack that did work when I play alone on my pc but when I load the mods in the server it doesn't start and I don't find the problem.

Hi there, I’m on a 10-day solo trip in a rainy, gorgeous England (from California, USA) and thought I’d leave reviews about some of the products I’ve brought. I obsessed over all the product reviews here before my trip (well, all the time really - when I’m not traveling, I’m thinking about traveling), and want to “pay it forward.”

1. Palette by Pak - I used to use contact lens cases but was getting annoyed with having more than one case and tiny capacity and all else. I bought this and LOVE it. The capacity for my particular skin care is perfect for a 10-day trip. I put in Make Up Forever make up remover, Lancôme foaming cleanser, Biossance eye cream, tretinoin, and Estée Lauder Idealist (absolute best for reducing appearance of pores on me). I have a small container of Biossance face lotion. Am considering getting a second Palette for face cream and hair goop because it’s just so convenient and keeps me from overpacking on toiletries (my travel nemesis). Currently I have a couple of small containers for hair goop, in addition to other small containers for other face/body/hair crap.
   
2. Stasher half-gallon bag for toiletries. I have an embarrassing number of toiletry bags and this one is the best. I like it better than a ziplock or a Dopp kit. I know it’s bigger than a quart-size but I haven’t had any issues with airport security. I don’t pack it to capacity - the taller size allows the Palette to fit. I might run into an agent who has issues with the larger size bag. I also pack regular quart-size baggies for s snacks and such so can transfer if needed. I like getting things in and out of the Stasher bag and it’s just more handy and sturdy for bathrooms, tossing in a suitcase, shoving in my backpack, etc. I have a smaller version for my makeup and it’s now my favorite makeup bag.
   
3. Columbia Carson’s Pass Interchange Jacket - waterproof, wind resistant, looks like a disco ball on the inside, and it’s two jackets in one! The length is perfect on me (I’m 5’6”) - and for the first time in all my Spring-weather travels anywhere; I’m warm! Highly recommended.
   
4. Uniqlo Heat-tech base layer leggings (the thinner ones) - great under leggings for warmth without bulk, great as sleepwear, easy to wash in a sink and air dries in a few hours. Wish I had gotten the long-sleeve too as well.
   
5. Corkcicle 12 ounce stainless steel mug - found this on clearance for $7 at Nordstrom Rack the day before I left and - on a panic “whim” - packed it. I’ve used this everyday for tea, coffee, wine, packet soup (like miso), water. It’s been really nice - Compared to the water bottle I brought and really wish I hadn’t; it takes up space and is unnecessary cause I could have just bought a bottle here and refilled it endlessly. They have a brand called One sold in aluminum bottles.
   
6. Lululemon Bigger Everyday bag - I have a smaller one that I use a lot at home as my purse. I didn’t pack it (again with the panic “whims” on the packing!). Just thought I’d manage with my backpack. I don’t want to (or need to) carry my backpack everywhere). I bought one here and opted for the bigger version for the dual zip main compartment and to fit my phone when it’s attached to a battery. Never traveling without this bag again. I wear it around my back and under my coat when I’m out and about, wear it in front when I don’t have my coat on, wear it on my hip at restaurants - it’s brilliant. Long live the fanny pack.
   
7. Crochet people: I have my project I started for this trip (Through the Clouds shawl, Oink Nimbus fingering weight yarn, 3.5 mm hook) and then visited some LYS for Cotswolds wool. There are some fantastic handspun yarns from local sheep and alpaca! Anyway, I brought a 5mm hook cause I thought maybe I’d start another project - and I’m making an ear warmer with “seaweed-eating sheep” wool I found in a lovely shop called Fibreworks in Chipping Norton! Anyway that was a silly addition that turned out to be nice. YMMV
   

Other notes about my trip: staying in hotels, proper B&Bs. (Available in-room drinkware has ranged from mugs to teeny espresso cups so I really like having that corkcicle mug). Using a Briggs & Riley 22” roller bag and Briggs and Riley delve backpack - love the roller bag; mixed feelings on the backpack. Visiting London and the Cotswolds this trip.
Things I wish I had left behind: water bottle; that 3rd sweate4th pair of pants/4th pair of socks/sneakers (have been wearing my Blundstones everywhere because of the rain - basically only wore the sneakers in airport - should have just brought a second set of insoles instead); and Kindle (have iPad and am listening to audiobooks while walking or crocheting).

Hi, I was having some lag issues doing some uni assignments - web browsing, word etc, so I checked my task manager and I saw that my GPU was at 100%, and then would fall to 20% then shoot back up to 100% (majority of the time it’s %90+)
I upgrade my GPU to a 2070 super 2 years ago, and added a second monitor (2k monitor)
I’m also having issues running simple games like csgo, where I’m getting 60-80 fps. My friend with a worse graphics card gets higher than me.
Is something wrong with my GPU for running at 100%? My fiend mentioned I may have a virus?
My specs are: CPU intel core i5-6500 @ 3.2GHZ RAM: 16GB GPU: Nvidia GTX2070 SUPER Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-h170-HD3 Memory: starting to run low ~10gb free on C drive SSD

Hello! Good weird o'clock to you all! The Australian GP has now finished, so it is time again to tell us your thoughts on how the Formula 1.5 grid looks to be shaping up.
Without further ado, here are the rules to keep in mind:
Rule #1: NO SINGLING OUT DRIVERS
In the past seasons, we had the performances of Alexander Albon and Pierre Gasly being brought into question, and people asking why they are not in F1.5. The answer was always simple: “Have you seen what Verstappen can do with the exact same car? That car does not belong in F1.5.”
Should the situation arise this year once more, please DO NOT single out specific drivers as belonging in F1.5. Instead, please look at what the leading driver has achieved in the same car, and decide if the CAR, rather the DRIVER belongs in F1.5.
Rule #2: THERE IS NO F1.25 or F1.75
Formula 1.5 is a sub that focuses on the midfield drivers and teams in the Formula 1 World Championship. While midfield might imply just the middle of the pack, our definition is slightly different. For us, midfield refers to all teams/cars which cannot consistently fight for at least the final podium step during a Formula 1 race. As such, for us, the separation of F1 and F1.5 is a binary one, not a spectrum.
There is no F1.25, nor is there an F1.75. They either can fight for that final podium spot consistently, or they cannot. There is no in between. Please consider that when making your thoughts known.
Reminder: THERE ARE 3 PODIUM SPOTS
Following the Bahrain GP and all the previous sessions of the Saudi GP, there has been an interesting increase in suggestions that we might only have to eliminate only one team this time around. That is not the case, and that will never happen. The point of the subreddit is to discuss the midfield, not the midfield and the top teams who have a lesser package compared to the top dog. Those teams still have a top tier car, it's just that one team decided to go one step above that. But it doesn't render their achievements or podiums any less valid. So please remember that ANY TEAM THAT CAN CONSISTENTLY FIGHT FOR THE FINAL PODIUM POSITION IS A TOP TEAM. Not just the one that can consistently fight for the win.

Before you buy: when buying this phone from aliexpress, you should accept the modifications to allow sideloading apps & features from the vendor this will essentially jailbreak the device so you can have the experience you desire. Also, they will include an English translation app for the Hisense device and other app stores for your convenience.
First things first when getting your new Hisense phone:
Accept & agree to all permissions, it's the same android device permissions all phones have. The notification shade for inkOS doesn't always alert you for the permissions of new apps, so be sure to look for that! Highly recommend getting GBOX app from gboxlab.com (for the latest version) just download the apk button from their website. This will help you with the most essential apps for you that require "google play services". Apparently, gbox & 2accounts are supposed to do the same thing, but I think I had less success with 2 accounts.
For me personally, that would be Lyft the ridesharing app, to commute for work by car or bike. I had a few troubleshooting issues with the QR scanner & GPS. But updating GBOX app to version 1.4.2 seemed to solve this issue.
To use GBOX first you download an app like Lyft from the aurora store or apk store or any pre-loaded app stores. Then from gbox you clone the app, if everything works as expected feel free to delete the original app. Keep the clone.
F-droid is another app store for open-source apps, easily searchable on the inkOS browser, it downloads as an app right into your homescreen. From there you can access even more app options by downloading another play store called Aurora if you don't have it already.

My next suggestion is personalization:
Like any other android phone, Hisenses inkOS is heavy with core features & apps. I deleted all apps that are allowed to be uninstalled and the rest were hidden in a folder. There also happens to be a privacy folder too, but I don't really have a use for that.
3 Button Navigation users rejoice! Im team 3 button, I hate the weird long bars on new android phones and iphones. You can change the layout of the 3 buttons but that 4th one is permanently your quick settings for E-ink preferences. So if you have an app that has gifs or video you can set the app to run on "speed" mode, or if you have an app that is more static you can save "clear" mode for that app. Whatever works for you!
There is some residual chinese text on the phone, but it's easily ignorable it's mostly on the apps or features you won't be using. I was able to force stop all of the inkOS core features... mostly activated via gestures on the homescreen. After canceling the core features (HiSmart the hidden homescreen/widget page, the web search engine inkOS browser, etc.) in the settings, definitely explore the settings.
The physical E-ink button is quite useful because it's a shortcut for your favorite action. Mine is set to short press auto-brightness, doublepress for screenrefresh, and longpress to nothing. Longpress is less useful because its limited to inkOS note-taking and inkOS voice assistant. And the goal for me is rid myself of bloatware that will slow me down.
Theres only one widget that i keep around which is Mobile Clean, it's a fun little animation (the rocketship) that closes all your open apps, without having to view the apps. If you want to you can probably get away with having your phone run in Power Saving Mode which is like Googles AI battery saver. But if you know what works for you then Super Power Saving Mode drains the battery an extra 3 days slower.

Gboard - the google keyboard
Found in your app store aurora or apk or other, you may have to sign in with your Google account here. It makes all the difference to interact with the phone in a familiar interface. The tactile vibration and responsiveness make it enjoyable to type or text, express yourself with emojis, gifs, or voice., download Gboard from the Aurora store. You can also turn off the inkOS privacy keyboard, and your input method will be consistent across apps & systems with Gboardsettings> languages & input > safe input method> toggle off now that your Gboard is active in the background you should see a black dot indicating it's active.

Niagara: the best android launcher **maybe ever?**Niagara has been my peak Android experience so far on any device I have owned. Niagara works to further customize your A9 experience so you won't have to see any bloatware or accidentally activate a gesture-enabled feature on inkOS. While free to demo, I've been using it for years and it's quite affordable and available on multiple android accounts (redeemable). Buy once, use everywhere.
The Niagara hotkey button allows for 2 Extra shortcuts (short press & flick up, long press to reassign shortcuts). This is very handy for your favorite 2 apps to launch with one hand. Besides being a productivity-focused launcher, it's the best-looking launcher for me, it allows me to operate a phone with one hand. It makes widgets look better than on iOS or Android.

Whats on my E-ink?
As an avid Niagara Launcher user, its been pretty easy to count the apps i use on one-hand.
VLC this allows me to cast alot of content/files to my tv. This is a cast feature that works for all videos, makes movie night very easy.
While i can probably use Gmail, i tried Edison Mail as my email client and think its kind of cool, it bundles all mails from the same sender. Which makes unsubscribing very easy :p
Im trying out a few manga/comic book reader and so far i like the ones that have a panel-by-panel reader, this lets me enjoy reading without having to zoom for the small text. Everything becomes readable! Perfect Viewer after testing out maybe 10 comic clients, seems to have a good balance of settings and ease of use.
Traditionally Discord & Reddit has been my greatest time sinks on my phone. But i seem to have lost interest since having them installed on A9. Literally ive lost any emotional attachment to these 2 apps, as well as youtube. On my phone at least.

SOME NOTES:
I have google fi so i can use any phone anywhere, ive been a Fi user for 5yrs its actually splendid and i can always pay from my phone app over wifi. They make it pretty simple, and if you are not a heavy data user its not expensive, you can always use wifi for free.
Obviously there are things like banking apps, but i open these every few months, so i dont see a reason to download. Anything i wont be using daily or weekly, im completely fine of leaving outside of my e-ink device.
If i had to i would definitely buy this device again, i do look forward to a future hardware designs or improvements, like a nearly bezeless screen. I think this is exciting, phones havent been interesting lately as they are overpowered and offer little use to the casual customers. For me it was doomscrolling and other poor habits online.
There is no expanding microSD card storage, for the A9 despite the misinformation put forth by certain bloggers like goodEreader

The Bootloading Bug (the restarting loop)
This has only happened once when the battery died the first time.
If you are stuck in a bootloop, which has happened commonly i think to many people, its actually easy to stop it:
- Safeboot (safe mode) your phone by long pressing the volume down key
- Go to settings, type in google, uninstall the "google play services"
- Afterwards you can simply re-install the "google play services" from APKstore
google play services is the utilities app that enables & updates all google functionality across their android apps
