The answer for rising inequality from American leadership since the 80's has been inflationary asset and commodities bubbles created by credit expansion. There has been a long term slide in interest rates, 40 years of a collapsing fed funds and treasury rates an the absolutely massive growth of private, government and consumer debt. This created a series of asset bubbles whose well documented demises wreaked economic havoc but also grew wealth to insane levels. we're trapped in a feedback loop. The market and major american Industry is dependent upon credit expansion to the detriment of the working class and the working class is up to its eyeballs in debt already a record high at $14-16 trillion.
The majority of this inflationary credit expansion goes directly to the top 1%. The working class will continue to get squeezed until the system breaks again.
The financialization of the markets by the FED has garunteed continued market collapse. The market knows it will be bailed out. The interventionist credit expansion is inflationary, new credit in the system is inflationary.
Open market operations like Quantative easing, repos, and bailouts have the same effect as increasing the money supply. The Fed issued new credit to buy MBS's and rapidly devaluing US treasuries. The greater the supply of money in an economy, the lower the corresponding interest rates are. In turn, lower rates allow banks to make more loans. Increased lending stimulates demand by giving businesses money to expand and individuals, money to buy things like homes, cars, and boats.
By increasing the money supply, QE keeps the value of the country's currency low. Short term bond rates will be going negative soon. Which demonstrates the market is in bad shape, demand is so great for short term bonds the yields are going negative an banks are still buying.The majority of the new credit isn't making it to the productive economy. Through a alphabet soup of lettered agencies and the FED unsecured interbank lending is essentially illegal it's so heavily penalized. Banks now prefer to borrow directly from the FED.
The FED seems to have started to take a different tact. Everyone is familiar with the massive expansion of the M2 explained above. Pumping trillions Into the financial system to try to create a new bubble of over consumption and paper over hundreds of Billions in losses in systemically important banks, Same plan as 08', the economy was a hollowed out corpse before the corona virus. The plan was the same, bail out the wealthy and huge corporations then hope the bubble is a bandaid over the bullet hole in the real economy.
Only now the tact the FED is taking is in reverse. During the recovery from 08' the FED encouraged mid size to small banks to hold long term duration treasuries as a means to shore up balance sheets and the FEDs own position after devaluing treasuries in 08'. The m2 is collapsing at a higher rate than any time in history. The FEDs plan seems to be raise rates at all cost to fight inflation but is it an excuse to rapidly raise rates for a rugpull of the very institutions it encouraged to hold long term duration treasuries. Small to mid sized banks do not have the infrastructure for complex interest rates swaps to offset the risk of a rapidly changing interest rate environment. Is it also coincidence that regional and mid size banks represent the bulk of American deposits. Assets ripe for the picking to shore up systemically important banks balance sheets. Well, this is quickly shaping up to be "season of the Void Machinegun." If the trend continues, I'll have more void MG kills this season than all other weapons combined. I prioritized getting the last Commemoration patterns I needed last week, the RNG gods were kind, and I now have a crafted one.
I'm kind of stuck on what I should be crafting, to the point where I almost think I should level a second one. I really wish double perks were a thing on crafted weapons.
So, for boss DPS Retrofit is probably still king. The Enhanced 4TTC/ Enhanced Target Lock roll I have isn't going anywhere. But Commemoration is better for general use.
I could use some help on barrels and magazine. I would generally go for Flared Magwell, but on this one I think I'll be going Appended Mag due to the mag size increase synergizing with my picks for column 3.
Third column comes down to Reconstruction and Subsistence. I can and will be using enhanced perks. At first glance, Reconstruction is really nice on a machinegun, BUT with the reserves increase and Bricks From Beyond, I am using an MG so freely that Enhanced Subsistence refunding 20% of the mag seems like the pick here for a non boss weapon (not saying I won't use it on a boss, just that I expect to be using it a ton for add clear and majors.) Reconstruction would be a nice overall perk (especially next season once I won't be using it as liberally) where it functions also as a bit of a discount auto loading holster. Does anyone have the actual time spec on this perk? Input?
And then fourth column choices come down to Killing Tally and Repulsor Brace. Both are great perks with wildly different utility. Repulsor Brace has utility on all classes this season with Volatile Flow, it's a lot more niche next season. It's a little redundant to have Devour AND Repulsor Brace on Void, but on Void Titan especially, being able to get the grenade recharge from Offensive Bullwark without having to use Bastion is really nice. But... Killing Tally is a near permanent 30% buff, which will be awesome for majors.
Anyhow, thought this was a fun topic to discuss, please give me your thoughts!

Hello everybody! I've read this subjects of interest on this subreddit and everything on the UDI and Skatteetaten website and I am still unsure about how to proceed with my moving to Norway.
I am a EU Citizen, I have a rental agreement starting on the 1st of May and a permanent employment contract starting on the 1st of June. I've read that basically registering with UDI is the first step, but when trying to fill the application form, it asks for "the day you moved to norway" and states that it should be a date in the past, which basically makes my application impossible.
So I've read that I can apply for a Tax Deduction Card with Skatteetaten first and they will asign me a D-number if I don't have a personal ID number. My question is: can I still apply for a card even though I'm not living in Norway yet? The website lets me book an appoinment, but the application form I must fill asks for the day I moved to Norway as well. Also, the website states that the employer can apply for a deduction card, but in that case will I be given a D-number?
I could move to Norway on the first day of the rental agreement, but I've understood there is no way of bringing my personal belongings before I get a either a D number or a personal ID number. Once I move and get my belongings to Norway I everything is clear on the steps I have to take, but until thin, I'm pretty confused.
So, how would you tackle this problem?

Hey guys, sorry if this post is a bit of a mess. I'm kinda' stressed at the moment, and I'm just kinda' throwing this post together...
Well, as the title says, I came out as bisexual tonmy family, and now I'm gonna' have to leave in the next few months. I just really need to vent about this, and maybe get some advice...
For some context, I'm an 18 year old Bi male, and I was raised in a conservative Muslim household in the US. Thing is, this isn't the first time I came out of the closet. When I was 15, I tried to come out, and things went pretty badly. There were months of arguing, and finally, my father snapped and just attacked me. I freaked out and called the cops, but they just laughed it off. Apperently I wasn't hurt enough for it to matter...sometimes I still think that was the wrong call to make, but I don't know...
Anyway, as punishment, I was sent into a religious private school, and essentially forced back into the closet. For the past three years, my parents legitimately believed I was straight and religious again. But after three years of having to keep up this act, combined with my horrible experience at that religious school, my mental and emotional state took a pretty rough toll.
At some point, I've justhad it with letting my parents control my life. I want to be open to myself, to be comfortable dating other guys. And so, just a few days ago...I came out a second time. And this time, I was insistent that I'm not letting my parents shove me back in the closet.
And well...my father gave me an ultimatum. Either I "become straight again", and pray to Islam again...or I have to leave the house by next college semester. And well, like I said, I can't stand to lie to myself anymore. So, when the next semester begins, I'm gonna' have to start dorming at my university.
One one hand, I'm proud of myself for finally standing my ground, and being true to myself...but well, you can probably imagine why this is a really stressful situation.
For one, the living situation is gonna' be a bit tough for me. Dorming can be expensive, and while I can work a part time job, I still might not have enough. Plus, during the vacation periods, I don't think I can stay on campus, and I'm not sure where to go during that. Last resort might be an LGBTQ+ shelter, but I'd have to research that...
But another thing that's been bugging me, is that in a way...I feel almost guilty for coming out. Maybe its just my father's guilt tripping, but I wonder if I made the right choice. See, as a kid, I grew up with a very comfortable, maybe even privileged life. My family was upper middle class, and so we never really had to struggle for anything. Anything I wanted or needed, my parents paid for.
Moving out is a massive adjustment for me, and I know this makes me sound like a spoiled kid, but sometimes I wonder if I'm throwing away my old life just because I came out. If I had just played by my parent's rules, I could've maintained an easy, comfortable life.
But at the same time, I know very well that my identity doesn't have a price-tag. Despite my comfortable circumstances, my mental and emotional health still got worse, because staying in the closet is just too damaging. But with my father constantly accusing me of being selfish, and saying that I'm "throwing away a good life"...well, I can't help but internalize some of that stuff.
I don't really know if this post has any real point to it...I guess I just needed to vent. Maybe I need some advice on what to do regarding moving out...
If anyone has anything to say, whether its advice, or just some words of comfort, I'd really appreciate it.

To preface I live in illinois in family housing of a private college in a brand new building that was built over last summer. I have a meeting about this with the dean since my head of housing said there’s nothing they can do and I would like to know if they can actually do something or maybe if I am over reacting and their hands are actually tied legally.
My partner is the one attending the school but we are both on the housing contract. I don’t know if this matters but…we have been dealing with problems our neighbor with an emotional support animal since September. Everything that has happened has been reported to the RA or head of housing (mostly after he stopped being helpful.)
So, the first month of school we quickly realized our neighbor across from us had a very untrained puppy for an ESA. He would bark from 6am-12am every day. Yes. All. Day. The corner it peed in was connected to Kates room and the pee seeped under the door every morning because the wall lining wasn’t glued correctly. We regularly found puddles of pee in the hall and janitors had to clean it it, I started to complain to head of housing but they said there’s nothing they can do. Janitors even went on strike on our building because they kept having to clean piles of poop.
The final straw before Kate moved out was the end of December. Mary would walk out with her dog unleashed and it bothered me because he would jump on us and others if we ever encountered them and has made my partner drop groceries more than once. So, when I saw Mary let both the dog out into the hall with no leashes, I started to record through the peephole. I have a video of her letting them both out to defecate and urinate in front of my door, at one point she leaves them both outside and closes the door behind her. I immediately brought this to my head of housing and she scheduled a meeting for us. In the meeting she said she would talk to Mary and to stop recording in the halls. Of course, there’s still occasionally pee but I haven’t seen her doing it.
So, by January Kate moved out and told us that Mary thinks everyone is out to get her. Now, the new person moves into the emergency housing room, turns out that it was our head of housing and her family who are our new neighbors.
Mary also started to leave her dog a large amount of food (or so I think) because by the end of the day there are bones,dog food, bread, chips, and stuffing spilling out of her door. Obviously not as bad as poop, still gross. Yes, I told the RA and he suggested we ask her to clean it. My partner did and she…did not clean it. I have pictures every day of a new mess (a very nice janitor comes by and sweeps the hall when it gets reported) and when the food was brought up again with housing she claimed to never see anything on the ground. We bought door covers because the food and smell of her room would get brought into our apartment. Now, about in February is when we started to get mice. We reported it and someone came 3 days later to put a single sticky trap down and looked no further. I saw another one again a week later and reported it, at the end of Feb almost everyone in the hall has seen them in their rooms or in the hallways so the head of housing has maintenance come and lay sticky traps in everyone’s rooms. I walked out today and there’s a pile of food in front of her door. I have spoken to maintenance when they placed the traps and they wholeheartedly agreed that it was probably because of the dog food. I don’t know if she is causing us to have mice but it certainly does not help…I am just afraid I will go to the deans next week and she will say there isn’t anything they can do. I understand there are certain housing rules for ESAS but I have so much proof of them not listening to housing rules since the absolute beginning of the year and I feel like she has had way too many chances. Should I even keep fighting or do I just live with the mice and dog food? My partner is the one attending the school but we are both on the housing contract. I don’t know if this matters but…we have been dealing with problems our neighbor with an emotional support animal since September. Hello, I'm a student almost done with my first year. I've been in the school for undecided students taking a few classes in psychology, data science, criminal justice, etc. So far i've loved psychology as it answers so many of my questions down to a biological degree. I don't think psychology however is a path I want to go into career-wise however. Truly, I really don't know what I want to do career-wise, but I'm the kind of person that can always pitch a sale or work with people well. I don't know how beneficial being a business major is, especially since at my school they make you take a bunch of different kinds of business classes before whatever you are specifically interested in, marketing, business analytics etc. etc. A ? All in all, I'm at a loss for what to do, and who to go to (advisors are terrible) and figured maybe someone has advice. My biggest fear is getting out of college and not being able to support myself. But I don't know how far psych and comms could really take me. Any advice?

I started my PhD almost two years ago and I have been having problems with my fundings since the beginning. The first week I started, one of my supervisors told me he lost the funding for my scholarship (normally the school give a scholarship, but because of COVID, less students were accepted and my supervisors jointly are responsible of my scholarship from their own funding instead, as per announced in my acceptance letter). He told me he would still pay me for the first year and help me get a scholarship for the next years. He paid me almost 4 months after the pre-established date, and did not answer his mails about it or was vague about it when I asked when I would receive it. He effectively help me find a scholarship, and I'm really grateful for it , but I still have problem getting paid. He is in charge of making the payment (or asking the finance department to make it). The first payment was supposed to be last september, but in november I hadn't receive it yet and we agreed to delay the first payment to January. We are now almost at the end of march and I did not receive anything. He often ignores my email when I ask when I can expect it, or dot not give clear answer etc. Now, he is saying he asked the finance department to do it long time ago and to check with them, I asked the department but they don't see anything to my name and asked me for the number of the payment request. I asked my supervisor and he still hasn't answered me.
I know he just forgets to answer me and is very busy, but I'm now really concerned about paying my rent and really stressed. 2023.03.21 19:29 MandyLion88 First Time Sitter. Do you always have a meet & greet for boardings?
Hi! It’s my first time boarding and a lady reached out to me to board her 2 yr old mixed breed (~55lbs) dog over the weekend. I suggested a meet & greet the next day after she reached out in the evening. After I didn’t get a reply for over an hour and it was getting late, I suggested it was short notice and I could make another day work. She did get back to me that night and said she had college classes til 5pm the next day, but would be willing after. I reached out again around 5:15pm on Monday and haven’t heard a reply and now it’s Tuesday.
I don’t have a dog, just a cat, so I don’t feel too worried about doing a meet & greet because I’m prepared for various situations. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly roomy house with all the carpeted areas able to be closed off. I have prepared a list of questions I want answered before boarding, but I’m not sure if I should insist on the meet & greet or not. Should I just send the questionnaire. I’m honestly willing to skip the m&g, but I hope she gets back to me. I don’t want to seem pushy. Advice?

Hello everyone,
I bought a lifetime membership of UpNote yesterday. It's not perfect, but I do like the app quite a bit and am curious to see how it continues its development over time. I especially like that I can drop-in images, export nicely-formatted PDFs, all while having a positive experience with the strong, clean, and organized UI.
One feature that I'd love to see is some kind of an outliner or a compact list feature. I like the idea of "journals," as it's basically a folder, but the issue is that if you're going for specificity, it quickly starts to look jumbled. Example:
I've been using TaskPaper for a year now, and it is great for list-making and is all in plain text. As a side-tangent, TaskPaper may look simple and like another note-taking-to-do-list app, but it really is intuitive and amazing, especially when it comes to its powerful shortcuts and the ability to seamlessly move around lines of text.
I think I may be the minority here, but I don't really like check-boxes for lists. It's too bulky and unnecessary, and unlike Google Notes, doesn't automatically get populated to the bottom of the note. The downside of TaskPaper is that you can't change font, size, use bold/italics and so on, in a versatile fashion.
Regardless – for the sake of organization, I think a simple outliner could do wonders, and since, fundamentally, journals are folders anyway, it might be easy to have a toggle between a "list view" and "thumbnail view" for those of us who want to have a tree-like structure.
Would be curious to hear other people's thoughts on this. Thank you!
