I want to have someone I can enjoy cuddling, kissing, just general closeness with, though I am unsure if I feel that type of attraction. Have you ever felt sensual attraction? (The google definition is in the third paragraph from the end of you need it)
Ok so context is: I came out to a good friend this weekend as asexual. We were talking about my previous crush (let’s call him Brad to make this easier) when she said something along the lines of « Actually no wonder! I remember you telling me you didn’t actually want to kiss Brad which confused me back then. Makes sense now! ». Then I explained some asexuals like kissing but some don’t, but I don’t consider myself as someone who doesn’t want to kiss.
For reference, me and my friend first talked about my possibility of kissing Brad a year ago, when I was about to go on an unofficial first date with him. I was talking to my friend about how I couldn’t actually imagine myself kissing him because it felt really weird and out of place and her response was : “but don’t you have a crush on him?”.
I was really confused by how I was feeling, did I really not want to kiss him? Was I just nervous because it was my potential first kiss? Because the idea of kissing someone is awesome, but only with someone that mutually likes you and with whom you’re close with. I thought maybe I would want to kiss Brad only when I knew he liked me back romantically. Gave me a logical explanation of why picturing myself kissing him felt illegal lol.
Now I am questioning if I am able to feel sensual attraction. Was my crush only romantic and emotional? Because I did want him to eventually become my boyfriend so I was ok with the idea of cuddling and kissing. But do I not feel the attraction tied to those actions? I don’t want that… I don’t want my sensual attraction to end up like my sexual attraction (which is apparently non existent).
And what is romance without the sensual part? For reference google says romantic attraction is “attraction that makes people desire romantic contact or interaction with another person or persons.” and sensual attraction is ”the desire to interact with others in a tactile, non-sexual way, such as through hugging or cuddling.”. See what I mean?
I personally consider kissing, cuddling and stuff to be romantic. I love the idea of having someone to kiss and cuddle, but what if I lack that kind of attraction? Will I ever find someone I would truly want to share that with?
This post might have been overly dramatic but it’s really hard not to panic since I can’t test my theories out. I don’t even know if I will be able to because I don’t know if I’m ever gonna crush on anyone ever again! Please help 😅

In light of HB1240, anyone know if suppressed uppers (i.e. GemTech Integra 15/22) will be considered gun "parts" and therefore banned, or will they be considered a suppressor and likely not be banned? Have one in AFT jail now (Day 272). My FFL believes they will be considered gun parts so he won't be able to transfer it to me once HB1240 is signed. Thoughts?

On paper, the Highlander was perfect for us! I drove a 2020 XLE today and honestly...I'm aggravated. I found the angle of the gas pedal really high. I'm 5'3" if that helps picture how I fit in it, and I'd lifted the seat to see well. I feel like I'd get shin splints driving it. Similarly, the foot space in the front passenger seat also angles up sharply much sooner than other vehicles, giving the passenger much less leg space or forcing you to rest with your feet flexed upward. Yuck! How do you deal with these issues? The gas pedal is the worst one. Can anything be done about it?
I read up a little and there are people ready to sell their Highlanders bc of the leg pain and general discomfort from the gas pedal. I'm hoping some of you creative people here have figured out a way around this weird feature, specifically the gas pedal angle!
Edit: is this specific to a model year or would it be consistent across all fairly recent years and trims? Thanks!

Starting over sucks, but this time I see the light! Focus on winning everyone! :)

Im using a nocuta air cooler for my cpu, 4000D airflow Case, and have 3 fans infront as intake and 3 top/rear fans as exhaust. Someone pointed out that i should remove the fan to the top right of the picture as its sucking out air from the front fans before it gets to my CPU cooler fan (top right https://imgur.com/a/u7N0N7P) . I was always curious if i was disturbing the circulation of cool air with the cpu as sometimes i can feel cool air coming out of it, and hotter air with the fan right next to it on top. I kinda wanted to keep it there for looks over removing it since i did buy 2 x 3pack fans and didnt want to waste it... also its rgb.
Would it be counter productive if i were to flip that fan so it was blowing air straight into the cpu fan intake over removing it?

I have a light background in psychology, I love this woman and I thought she would be the one I have kids with so it was important for me to help her for both of our futures. I guess I've been trying to "fix" her but I learned the hard way that you can't force people to do things. At first I thought she was just going through a hard time due to a family death, but after months of reading all of the posts on this sub it was kind of scary how similar everyone’s experiences were, it was like we are all dating versions of the same person. However, confirmation bias is a real thing, all people are flawed, and everyone is afraid of abandonment, so we have to be careful not to misdiagnose on our own.
Shortly after telling her my thoughts on her potentially having BPD (a bad idea should have listened to the posts here) things got very bad. She didn’t want to read or talk about it, and right after she got a new job we ended things while she wants to remain as friends. (Life changes or trips have always been a big trigger in this relationship). From her side it doesn’t seem like anything has changed, she is still talking to me and telling me about her day as if we are in a relationship. We’ve broken up countless times, sometimes by me and sometimes by her, but then she goes about her day as if it never happened, almost as if she is pretending the breakup wasn’t real to protect her self, or she somehow really is that indifferent to a year long relationship where “love” was involved and so it wasn’t real love in the way I experience love. Both options are painful to me in different ways. I hope I’m wrong about her having BPD, but seeing the posts here makes me very worried. I know most people here will have something negative to say, but I’m looking for a sliver of possibility or a chance that I was wrong.
I’m not ready to give up because I still think some of this can be saved, and I care about her too much to let something fixable be forever broken. If you’ve been in a situation like this what did you do?

Hi hi! I have been looking to pick up a new lipstick or two to add to my curated collection, so I've been (almost obsessively) comparing lipstick shades in preparation for an eventual purchase. As I've been doing this I've found myself going back and forth about what types of shades I feel are most flattering on myself and on olive skin tones. So I'd love to hear what your favorite lipsticks are or what you feel are the most flattering types of shades for olive skin tones!
I'll go first: I am a light, muted neutral olive and have generally preferred rosy or slightly grungy or rusty nudes bc anything too warm looks orange on me in an unflattering way. However I HATE the way blue-based reds look on me, so I go for warm reds. My current favorite lipsticks are Charlotte Tilbury Very Victoria, Charlotte Tilbury Glowing Jen, Lisa Eldridge Painterly, Melt Cosmetics Old Rose, and Rare Beauty Lip Souffle Fearless. The only reds I currently own are Charlotte Tilbury Walk of No Shame and Lisa Eldridge Velvet Morning.

Starting next week, all of humanity is united for a year one one cause - to create the ultimate warrior.
The public support for this is 100% and all of the greatest minds are motivated to work together on this. Ethics are out the window, so combat trials can be done, enhancement drugs can be used.
The person can be selected by any means, and trained for the whole year leading up. They can only be equipped with Armor and Melee and thrown weapons, but the united world has a year to give them the best possible set of armor and weapons within our technology. Humanity is aware of the challenges the warrior will face.
What is the Warrior equipped with and how do they do in the following situations
Round one: How many lightly armed peasants can he defeat without dying? The fight takes place in a village, both sides bloodlusted.
Round two: Roman legionaries attack the man in an arena, how many can he win against?
Round three: Knights in plate mail - how many can he defeat at once on the narrow walls of a castle?
Round four: Grizzly bears. He only has to fight one at a time, but 15 seconds after the first is slain, another appears. How long does he last?
Bonus: the previous rounds, but humanity has 10 years to prepare. Does anything change?

I miss my ex girlfriend so bad, I think about her every day and it’s been 5 years. I feel like such a loser. I can’t stop thinking about her. I see her so happy on social media and it hurts so much knowing I’ll never do better then her. Long story short we dated in college broke up and got back together. She did was the one begging to get back into a relationship while I was on the fence cause she did some very questionable things like hooking up with her ex boyfriends and mutual friends during our “talking stage”. I loved her so much and I couldn’t tell if should have trusted her or not when we got back together. Anyways she left for someone she used to talk to back in the day and kicked me completely out of her life with no communication and they quickly got married, like within a few months. We had plans on getting engaged and I was even ring shopping while we broke up. The kick in the stomach is seeing her post all about how great this guy is and she wouldn’t ever even post a picture of us two but would tell me I was her “soulmate”. I feel like a mentally ill person for even caring till this day. It’s an overwhelming feeling like I’m this huge loser and he is this big winner. I just feel like a joke in life.

I have 5 people in my home gaming and streaming video. I have a 1gbps fiber connection to the internet. I have ~5 servers in my garage all connected via ethernet. I have ~75 wifi smart switches/lights.
I have the highest end "gaming" router that ASUS offers. It can handle all this usually. I find that I need to reboot it fairly regularly though (sometimes more than once a day). This is super annoying. I want to solve this, but there doesn't appear to be a better home router available. What can I do? I've considered the following but can't seem to find any advice online:

• Swapping out my router for something meant for a datacenter (it doesn't need to be a wifi access point), but I have no idea how to shop for this. Searching for reviews just gives me advice for consumer grade stuff.
• Building a high-end PC as my routefirewall (dual NICs and such) like I remember doing back in the '90s. Is this even comparable to a modern purpose-built router?
• Considering one of the other router consumer grade high-end routers from a company other than ASUS. I just need to know it is very configurable to allow me to open the ports I need for my servers.

I don't want to waste money, but I'm not afraid to spend a bit on this to make sure I have something nice. Does anyone have any experience with this, or some advice about where to look?

At a magic show the magician on stage needed a lady volunteer from the audience to serve as one of his "lovely assistants". My friend (f) was chosen and the magician performed a weird metamorphosis illusion that would transform her into a proper magician's assistant. Basically, she stepped into a screened box that showed off her shadow. Next, the magician spoke some magic words, lights flashed, and boom my "friend" stepped out of the box wearing a skimpy assistant outfit. Only it wasn't my friend just a sexy lady who she got swapped out with. The show went on and in the end, the magician changed her back. This time my friend stepped out of the box, bowed with the magician, and returned to the audience. It was a weird trick and not very convincing at all. My friend actually got to watch the show from backstage the whole time.
I saw a similar situation at another magic show, only the actual volunteer went backstage to change into an assistant's outfit and helped the magician throughout the entire show. She changed back later and claimed that she wasn't actually part of the act. She was just a random stranger from the audience who played along.
Have other magicians performed something similar by making an audience volunteer an assistant?

Hi everyone, for the past two years, or so, I’ve been dealing with a pesky floater(I think), in my left eye.
When indoors, or in moderately lit rooms, I don’t notice it, and my vision is fine.
However, when I am driving, looking at outdoor light, or looking at white screens, I see a “glare” that moves across the field of vision, and then settles away. It’s like a thin blurry white cloud that I can see drift across my vision.
But again, it only happens in bright light
It doesn’t look like a typical black eye floater, and only seems to appear when I shift my eyes quickly from one direction to another. If I look stationary, I don’t get bothered by it.
Has anyone else experienced a floater like this?
Two years ago I went to the eye doc, and he said he could see some floaters in my left eye, but other than that and a very mild astigmatism, my eyes looked super healthy.
I have another appointment for next week.
This is seriously annoying, making me feel super anxious when I see it, and is affecting my mental health. I’m a healthy 28/male.

ladies and Gents of beer, awhile back I took this unopened commercial bottled beer out the fridge and I have no idea what was going on in it, so i threw it out......now I recently bought some (a different brand), I had put the previous incident behind me so I hadnt checked but now I did and while it doesn't have the big floaty looking yeast mold or just mold or whatever it is (u guys might know for certain, I don't yet..so let me know) I held it up to the light and I'm noticing some little tiny floaties....I never used to hold my beer up and examine it, so now i'm asking because my 90 year old grand aunt had drank 2.

TLDR can someone tell me what that is in my beer in the images, and if it doesn't have that big one but just the many tiny ones will you get sick if you drink it?
